Very modern room in new trends. It has two areas separated by furniture, one with a couch and a small cozy table and the other one is the bedroom, each area with a smart TV. Ten different lights can be switched by a remote control and change the atmosphere in the room. Bathroom with a modern big floor tiles and wall tiles, walk-in shower. Location 5 to 10 min walk to the old town, 2 min walk to the bus station, 2 restaurants, a McDonald, for breakfast, a supermarket in the area. Mary our host from the front desk and guardian angel help us to rent the car and give us information about beaches, cities, beautiful places to visit because we were for the very firs time in Crete. Being in the middle of the north coast of island we were able to visit Heraklion, Chania, Rethymno, Balos Beach, Gramvousa Island, Psaromoura Beach, Vai Palm Beach

Great hotel owned and managed by a wonderful family. Prior to the check-in, we were welcomed by a nice message informing us about our room and check-in details (very professional and structured). Upon arrival, we were offered a very delicious, traditional home-made welcome drink. Rooms were big, comfortable, very clean and with its exceptional decoration, made us feel as if we were in Knossos Palace. Breakfast was exceptional with fresh ingredients from Cretan villages and traditional baked pies simply made our day! Recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to eat were simply great! Location of the hotel is very good too. Just 10-15 minutes by walk to the center and very close to bus station. It has its own parking space right in front of the hotel which is a big plus. Once more warm thanks to Dimitris, Despina and Mary for making our stay a memorable one! Hope to see you soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lavris The property has an excellent position, it is situated beside the bus station, there is a bus stop opposite to it (for local buses for example to Knossos), and very close to the city centre and Archaeological Museum (approx 10 min on foot) also the ferry terminal is close and can be reached on foot. The property is excellent, we liked our room, it was super clean and spacious... About the staff: Mary is a real gem, she gave us so many tips and made us feel really welcome and at home. We can only recommend Lavris with all our hearts!

The decor and room layout was brilliant. Such a clever introduction to Minoan design with the backlit panel reproductions from Knossos Palace paintings. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and more than happy to be of assistance. Thanks particularly to Mary for her diligence in ensuring our stay was trouble-free. Having an allocated parking space was pure gold! Parking throughout Crete is a problem, and Heraklion is no exception. Lavris City Suites deserves credit for enabling its guests to park so easily. 😊

There was a bit of traffic noise, particularly from young drivers' cars with music blaring and windows open. It was a Saturday night, however, so to be expected!

We stayed four restful nights in a suite. Very friendly and responsive staff, especially Mary who tirelessly answered our questions and tried to get us a last-minute booking at Peskesi. We loved the very comfortable beds (we could have slept in every day!) and olive oil-based toiletries. Great location - short, uphill walk to the center (national museum, restaurants, shopping). Superb breakfast served in the room. For a quick bite, there are fast food restaurants and a supermarket next door. Free parking right in front.

I love that we can open the windows for fresh air but as the hotel is on a main road it can get noisy from traffic and youngsters with loud cars. Not a problem with windows closed.

We only stayed one night at Lavris City Suites due to an early morning ferry departure, but we genuinely wished we had stayed longer. This is a brilliant city hotel—perfectly located near the port, airport, and Heraklion town centre. The rooms are brand new, stylishly designed, and spotlessly clean. A standout feature was the wireless remote control for the lights, which made everything feel sleek and modern. The fridge was fully stocked, even offering locally made jam to try for free—a thoughtful touch we really appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Heraklion. We’d definitely stay again.

Can be noisy due to being on main road, but they do provide ear plugs and face mask. Light sensor upon walking into bathroom is good but can we an issue at night as its lights the main room up and doesn’t turn off for a few minutes after

The hotel was much better than we expected, and Mary (we think that was her name) was AMAZING. We let her know were on our way, and she looked for us and called us when she saw us drive by her (we went too quickly past where the car could park). She went out of her way to find a local village for us to attend a small festival. We could not find one, but she did! She made sure we had the directions and information. Our daughter was incredibly happy because she got to dance with the locals. The room was super cool looking and was perfect for three of us. It was clean, and the water pressure was great. The location is within walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) of the archeological museum and the main shopping area (though it's not quick if you have trouble walking because there is a mild hill to go up). There were even places to sit and read in the hallway near the room. We loved this hotel and would definitely here again if we visit Crete.

Absolutely nothing was wrong.

The rooms were spacious and modern with great amenities. The property is in a great location. Close to the port, very close to the bus terminal and a 5min walk to the centre of town where all the shops and restaurants are. We were greeted by Mary who took us to our room and explained what was available to us. Mary was friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. When we left Demetri saw us off in a friendly manner, asking us about our stay and wishing us pleasant and safe onward travels. Just a great place to stay and see Heraklion.

They should specify this view so that when you take the decision to book this room you know all that you get. - it was nice having breakfast in the room, but to be honest we didn’t feel it was worth it 40 euros (because of the quality and freshness of ingredients). We ate nicer breakfasts in other places and they didn’t cost this price . All in all, the breakfast was good, but overpriced. - in some moments it can get a little noisy because the hotel is close to the big street. This happens for motorcycles going with high speed that are very loud, not for regular traffic.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Lavris Hotel. From the moment we walked in Mary was warm and welcoming. The hotel is probably one of my favorite hotels we stayed at in Crete. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Easy parking outside. The room was lovely and beautifully decorated. We appreciate that she was able to accommodate us to check in a little early since we arrived early. The place is walking distance to restaurants and shops. Overall, I would definitely stay at Lavris if we ever come back. Thank you!
