Everything was excellent. We stayed at the hotel for one night. The location was perfect for us - between the harbor and the airport. The old town is reachable by taxi (5 euros) or on foot (15 minutes). We were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in and were informed via mobile when our room was ready (around 12:00). Breakfast was good, and the taxi ordered through reception was punctual. Cost to the airport - 15 euros

At first I thought that the hotel is rather far from the center, but then I found that was not so far The hotel and the room were very quiet Near the hotel I found an excellent pizza and coffee restaurant Silfio and also an excellent cafeteria with good cakes Kumakis there are also more eating options, for instant a restaurant called Kyriakis but it closes early in the evening

Very classy hotel with first class facilities and staff that would do anything to make your stay perfect. Christo was extremely helpful. Comfortable room and bed, great pool and the breakfast was sensational.

The location was great with many cafes and restaurants steps away, and the historic centre within reasonably close walking distance. The hotel staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet selection was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet, while the shower was great and didn’t leak water all over the bathroom floor as happens in so many other hotels.

Our room would have been perfect if it had been a little larger. But when we booked we expected it would be a bit tight, so we can’t complain about the room size.

The hotel is modern and airy, air conditioned and has elevators. The pool area is lovely and has a bar and they can organise snacks for you delivered to the pool. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were excellent especially Anna who was the head staffer in charge at our breakfasts. They had an upstairs patio bar and cafe and the head staffer Natalie was also so hospitable and made us extremely welcome. The hotel was a 15 minute walk to the old town pedestrian centre and the hop on hop off bus stopped about 15 metres away from the hotel. There was a supermarket about 200 metres away. I would return here in a heart beat.

This hotel entirely met our expectations. The breakfast was good with lots of variety for everyone in our travelling party, which included kids. Having access to the pool and gym was great. The rooms were compact, which was not unexpected. For a family of four we had to get two connecting rooms which worked. We also had extended family travelling with us so to be together we really had to meet in one of the public reception or pool areas because the rooms were too small. My son had a birthday party while we were there and the hotel gave us a cake and facilitated our small celebration in the reception lounge. The are a couple os simple places to eat nearby and only a short walk to the central restaurant and shopping district. There is a park, with children’s playground on the way which was also of use to us. It might have been nice to stay closer to the centre but the trade off would have likely been the pool and gym. The walk there wasn’t long or hard.

A very well equipped and modern hotel in a nice part our Heraklion, a bit outside of the immediate downtown area. Lovely pool, restaurant. Wonderful buffet breakfast. The hotel is about 1km from the Archaeology museum and about a 10 - 15 minute drive to Knossos. The front desk staff recommended two wonderful restaurants in close walking distance for dinner.

The parking lot is small, somewhat disorganized and down the block and behind the hotel. On the last day, there was no spot left for us (you can't reserve a spot) so we parked on the street down the block from the hotel and that worked out OK

The location is great, close to the centre with all the activities and museums, and everything is a walkable distance away. The pool is nice, not too small. The staff is amazing, very sweet and helpful, gave us suggestions where we should try traditional cretan food and helped with understanding public transport. The food is also great, the hotel breakfast had a large variety of foods and was very tasty.

The only thing, I wish the pool was open for longer, but I do understand that people would dine outside close to the pool and it would be disruptive if there were people there.

The hotel is good overall, but it’s not the place for a vacation stay. That was probably my mistake, but it was nowhere mentioned that it’s more of a business hotel than vacation long stay accommodation. What makes this hotel great is people. The building is quite worn out, but people make their best and maximum to make you feel here welcomed and comfortable. The standard rooms are extremely small, smaller than in any tiny city hotel in Paris (and rooms there are small indeed). That was terrible at first since I have booked for 3(me and my two child we), there was literally no place to turn around and even to place our clothes. But after our desire to leave the hotel the very second day, we were proposed an upgrade to a more spacious room.

Breakfast and overall good in the restaurant. It’s absolutely not 5* hotel food. Breakfasts are rather poor for a Greek cuisine and most of the cooked dishes were not tasty. But what is good, again people make their best to make you comfy and we ordered some food we wanted (like pancakes, non fat sausages etc) if we could have found this type of food at the buffet.

The rooms are impeccably clean and designed with comfort in mind. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making for restful nights. The food options at the hotel were fantastic, offering a variety of choices. What stood out to me most was the staff’s genuine patience and friendliness. They were always available to answer any questions and offered excellent recommendations on where to visit and what to do in the area. Their local knowledge truly enhanced our experience.

Not that I can remember. The designated non-smoking areas were also well thought out, ensuring a pleasant environment for all guests. They thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast for us to take with us since we had to catch an early flight.
