I was pleasantly surprised by a free upgrade to a larger room. The room was fantastic, really had me regretting staying only one night. Comfy bed, really comfortable living room, and a kitchen that had everything needed. The shower was also fantastic, love the rainfall showerhead. Gorgeous decorating, love the wallpaper behind the bed and the hexagonal floor tiling. Heated towel rack is definitely a bonus. Definitely would return to Kipos if I'm in Heraklion and will be recommending to my friends. The location was fantastic for exploring Heraklion and the hotel concierge gave a fantastic recommendation for a restaurant at Peskesi.

A bit difficult to navigate to by car. Make sure to follow the hotels directions and navigate on the map because Google does not know what it's talking about and will try to take you the wrong way down one-way roads.

Fantastic small hotel. Room was just as it appeared in photos. We were only there for a couple days so didn't use the kitchenette much, but it was very complete and if (when!) we come back and stay for longer, would definitely use it to cook a meal. Nespresso machine a big plus for the mornings. Very clean, location very central to the rest of Heraklion but on a small and quiet street out of the actual city center. Free parking - very important. Staff extremely helpful.

They warn you that getting to the parking lot is difficult and they are right!! Fortunately Giannis was very very helpful and actually came to find us as we got "lost" in the narrow streets. Once you know how to find it, it's not actually hard, but Google Maps doesn't know how to get there so the first time is difficult.

Everything in the room was new and comfortable. We liked that there was a capsule coffee machine and compliments from the hotel. Staff was also kind and helpful.

It made a bad impression to us that you have to pay and sort out documents immediately after you arrive at the reception even if you are carrying luggage and are tired from the travel. It won’t make a difference if you are able to leave your things in the room, freshen up and then sort out these things. This didn’t happen to only us, but we also witnessed it with a number of other new guests.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful receptionist (Michaelis) who welcomed us on a rainy night with a big smile and helped to carry our luggage to the 1st floor:). The apartment is very smartly and tastefully designed with a functional kitchenette hidden in a cupboard in the living room. It is equipped with all you might need to make a simple meal like scrambled eggs for breakfast. There are even proper wine glasses which is not always the case in apart hotels. A Nespresso coffee machine with some complimentary coffee pods and even a proper (liquid) creamer were a surprise and a nice touch! Everything looks brand new - the facilities, towels & bed linen. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Perfect, quiet location, within walking distance to the center of Heraklion, bars & restaurants. Free parking opposite the building is a real bonus in that busy town! The price per night in March was excellent value for money. It's a fantastic place if you want to go on a city break to enjoy the nice restaurants and bars in town, that are open all year round. We were able to leave our car in the hotel car park for a few hours longer after we checked out, which was great and convenient. We'll definitely be back:)!

It is a bit tricky to find, in particular at night. We were told by the receptionist that Google maps for that area is not ideal. The road to the hotel is a narrow, dead end road, but not a problem once you know the way. There is no view from the hotel as it's middle of the older part of the city, but the facilities and friendliness of the staff definitely make up for it:).

I must commend the exceptional service provided by one of your team members, Michalis. From the moment our group checked in, Michalis went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. His welcoming demeanor and willingness to assist were evident in every interaction. When we had a question about local options, Michalis took the time to recommend several excellent options. What impressed us the most was his attention to detail and proactive approach. He anticipated our needs, offering assistance ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Michalis is a true asset to the hotel. His professionalism, friendliness, and genuine desire to make guests feel valued are qualities that truly set this property apart. The location of the hotel made it very easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops within minutes.

We stayed at Kipos Boutique Suite and we cannot recommend it enough. We gor upgraded to a bigger room, that has a living space with tv, a small kitchen with over, microwave, coffee machine (+4 cups), etc., as well with large rooms and a balcony. It is closely located to the center, it is clean, nicely decorated and the hosts communicates very clearly, and does everything to make you feel at ease. There is also a free and private parking in front of the hotel for guests. If you want a resto recommendation: Μεζεδοπωλείο Η Αυλή (Avli resto). Very odd location, but once you are inside, very very charming, best food that I ate in Greece and a tradition family business

First off, what a relief to have access to a free parking lot adjacent to Kipos. Next, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly (true Greek hospitality). Finally, the suite itself was modern, clean, comfortable, and within easy walking distance to old town and all the splendid cafes. The suite itself is surround by tiny alley-streets so I imagine a larger car would find it difficult to navigate. Not an issue for us with our tiny Fiat. Thank you Kipos.

Not a deal-breaker by any means, but the cleaning solutions were overly fragrant.

Located at just a 4 min stroll from/to the city centre of Heraklion, this extremely charming hotel hit the perfect spot for us. From extra nice staff to the spotless and comfy room we had a wonderful time. Also we were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of white wine, which we enjoyed just outside the window on the shared patio of the ground floor. We can but highly recommend this peaceful and well located place. If anything, the only thing, which didn’t apply to us, is the narrow streets to the parking if you’re driving to the hotel. So nothing to do the hotel per se. A gem!!!

A wonderful stay at this charming hotel just a short 5-minute walk from the city center! Everything was new, spotless, and well-maintained, making for a very comfortable experience. Michalis at the front desk was simply amazing! Friendly, professional, and always going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to come across such outstanding hospitality.

The bathroom could have been a bit bigger but was OK.

The apartments are located in a quiet part of town but within 5-10 minutes easy walk of shops, restaurants, supermarket and the central shopping/eating tourist busy area. The area was very quiet in the evening and we slept very well - beds were really comfortable with nice bedding and good lighting. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and had a lovely courtyard area. Importantly the air conditioning worked a treat. The kitchen was equipped with basic requirements although the food in the area was great so eating out is easy and reasonably priced. Staff were really helpful.

Location is a little hard to find for taxis and tours so make sure you pre-arrange meeting spots. There are no clothes washing facilities in the apartments or communally, which is a pity.
