Quaint and quiet location. 10 minute walk to all main sites. Very clear abd friendly helpful staff. Easy to get to from the airport. Take local bus to downtown. Get off at the big yellow dome Cathedral Agios Minos. Walk across the street to the pharmacy. Continue I block to the end of the street, turn left, hostel will be on your right about 50 meters.

First of all i loved the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I was encouraged to use the kitchen and cook a proper meal (I only ever boil water in hostels), which i was then able to share. My usual hostel communication consists of muttering 'Hi' or 'Monin', the top being 'Where are you from?' Here i was immediately engulfed in conversations and later spent a magical night talking, singing and a general internationa and intergenerational fun night. It might have been a random mix of random people, but I felt a strong genius loci. Cleanliness, practicality, location and value for money-absolute top number 1!

That i only stayed 1 night. Would have loved to stay longer if it wasn't for the ferry timetable.

It is a spacious building, with showers for ladies only, with wide enough beds (with curtains, for privacy). There is a common room with TV and books, some games as well. The kitchen is well-equipped. Some people did cook. There is a fridge, too. The Minas Church and the bus stop are 1-2 minutes away, on foot. You can take the bus from the airport, and it drops you really near the accommodation. Then, the city centre is within walking distance. The bus can take you, conveniently, to Knossos and other places.

Nothing to dislike. Excellent stay for the money.

All stuff members were too kind, respectfull, helpfull and funny. Rules about anything were informational on the one hand and logical on the other. Rooms and areas in the hostel were very clean and there were stuff in the fridge and the drawers for all customers, as well as plenty of room to store your own things. I liked it that much that I reserved another 2 extra days, to enjoy the weekend, independently of my trip to Crete. I would definetely choose Muros again when in Crete.

Friendly staff and comfortable, clean and spacious hostel. Great rooftop for relaxing or getting to know people from the hostel. Staff organised a hostel night out which was great for a solo female traveller. They also helped me to book a bus tour to Elafonisi and answered many of my travel questions!

The only seating aside from the dining room table is on the roof or your dorm beds, not a problem if you’re visiting in the warmer months.

Usually I book private self-contained accommodations so this was my first experience of living with others in a 6 bed female dorm. I am 69 and trying to live my 'best life'. So ... It was great! Perfect way to solo travel and enjoy contact/chats/ideas with fellow travellers if and when you want it! Hector on Reception was very helpful and had a wonderful laid-back but efficient attitude. You want extra blankets or towels? No problem. You'd like me to book a taxi for you for 4:30am? No problem. You are worried in case the taxi doesn't arrive and you don't have data on your phone? This is not a criticism of the hostel. I'm disappointed with the attitude of some travellers who leave a mess in the kitchen or around the barbecue on the rooftop. Thankfully these inconsiderate and lazy folk are in the minority.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in—and I've stayed in many! It has everything you need: privacy curtains, super comfy beds (slept like a baby), and an incredibly nice and helpful staff. The place is spotless, especially the bathrooms. There's a rooftop to chill until midnight, a well-equipped kitchen, and the location is perfect—close to the center but away from the crowds. A supermarket is just a 3-minute walk away. The air conditioning works well, and you can leave your stuff in the locker after checkout. Ideal for a tranquil stay, but also a great place to meet people and make plans.

The hostel was very clean and had great facilities. The common areas were thoughtfully designed and perfectly suited for young people. The staff were very helpful, especially Fotis – thank you for your hospitality and attention. I definitely recommend this place. You can stay here with comfortably.

I was staying on the top bunk bed and the steps were made of a hard material, which hurt my foot. It would have been better if a different material had been used.

Great and convenient location, lovely staff members who got me awesome dining recommendations. The property was clean (bedroom, bathroom) and I’m super grateful I could use the rooftop to practice yoga :) thank you!

The pillow could be a lil more comfortable. They’re so flat that they barely have a use :( also, the AC was quite strong (although put a 24 degrees) so an extra blanket would have been useful.

This hostel is very modern, it is perfectly located in the downtown area near to a well known park. The rooms have their own shower and toilets. There are also additional showers and toilets in the hallways. The kitchen is huge and have space for two people to cook at the same time. It also has a large dinning table and a nice view from the top. There is an elevator and it takes you to the 7th floor where there is a bar. There are laundry machines, but no dryer. The bunk beds have courtains for privacy and they provide sheets and towels.

The laundry machine instructions are not clear and when you asked the staff about a dryer they tell you that the laundry machine includes a dryer, but that is not accurate. The clothes come out damp and you have to figure out where to hang them to dry.
