We really enjoyed our time at City Lion. Our expectations were well exceeded, especially by the staff friendliness, hospitality, and willingness to help with anything that we might've needed. The room was very well equipped with everything one might need, and we had cleaners servicing the flat every couple of days. It's right in the center of the city, so location was excellent too - we could walk everywhere. We will definitely be coming back to City Lion in the future!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were warmly welcomed by the young woman at the reception, who was simply delightful. She even recommended restaurants / peskesi was WoW - and kindly helped me get my trousers hemmed, personally accompanying me to the tailor. A 10 out of 10 — a hundred votes for this hotel, which is not only extremely well located, just steps away from all the activities in a lively city, but also outstanding in every other way. The hotel was spotless, with a very spacious room, perfectly functioning air conditioning, and absolutely no noise. Parking was very convenient nearby, including access to secure private lots available 24 hours a day. I recommend this establishment 1000% — it is simply fantastic and fully deserves its top rating on Booking.

All was just fantastic

Really new and modern, separate air con controls for every room as well as balconies for every room, the staff are great at checking you have everything you need (extra coffee/water etc), located right in the centre, also provided useful extras like olive oil and kitchen roll. Note that you can park temporarily in their spot to unload bags before moving to a car park. View of the sunset from the top bedroom patio.

My only complaint was the mattresses are quite soft (I have back problems and prefer a firmer bed). Could also do with a microwave (their were lots of facilities including an oven and extra appliances like toastie maker but no microwave)

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made reservations for us at a nearby restaurant. The location was very good for exploring the city. There was a reasonably priced parking garage nearby. The apartment itself, an executive suite had many windows and was bright and airy as well as beautiful and clean. The bathrooms were modern and the bedding was very nice.

Everything was great! No complaints. I booked it due to its high ratings and was very pleased with it!

Our stay at this accommodation exceeded all expectations. We were a group of people with disabilities visiting Heraklion for a championship, and this place was exactly what we needed. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful — she even called us as soon as the apartment was ready and was there to warmly welcome us upon arrival. Everything was spotlessly clean and very modern, with great attention to detail. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant, and we truly felt at home. We will definitely choose this place again in the future!

Wonderful little modern apartment. Had everything just as described, and then some surprises I didn't expect like late-night room service for those days we were dead tired after adventuring out. To get in/out of the complex and room you use PIN codes to open an electric lock. At first this kind of put me off as I'd become accustomed to the key system used at other places we'd stayed in Greece. After having used it, IT IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN KEYS. No worrying about leaving the power on, no coordinating who was going to be back at the room first if we were splitting up and had to decide who kept the keys, one less thing in my pocket. It was so nice and something I wish more hotels would do. The location is relatively central? About 7 mins walk to the nearest tourist area. So not bad.

Not an issue with the property itself, but the streets are a maze around this area 😵‍💫 had to rely on Google Maps every single time I went back to the hotel. Kind of a jokey negative (sort of) but there are a million light switches lol. It's great once you figure it out and offers a ton of comfortability, but at first it's really overwhelming and we were constantly guessing which one was which!

We absolutely love everything about this property. The location is ideal—right in the city center, with convenient access to restaurants, shops, and more. The space itself is generous, including a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. It's fully equipped with everything we need, and housekeeping is provided every other day, which is just right. The host is friendly and helpful, and the decor is modern and fresh.

There’s no on-site parking, which is typical for Heraklion city center. However, there’s a parking facility about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It costs €10 per night (or per 24 hours) and is secure. This is not an issue for us,

The location was just off a main pedestrian walkway with many shops, services, and restaurants nearby. The staff (9am-10pm) were helpful booking a taxi from the apartment to ferry (8 Euro) and printing off our ferry tickets. They were so kind and willing to do whatever we needed. The taxi from Heraklion airport to the apartment was 18 Euro. The apartment itself is luxurious and beautifully appointed with every thing you need. The living/kitchen/dining is on one level with private bedroom and its ensuite bathroom. There is a balcony off the living/dining area that has a table and chairs, and a walkout balcony from the bedroom (not room rnough for a chair). The stairs are not too steep to the upper level with the second bedroom and ensuite bathroom. There is also a balcony on the second level with lounger and table. There are several small views of the sea which are better from the upper level.

Everything was beyond expectations; we would stay here again.

Fantastic modern apartment, so much space and lots of amenities. We loved relaxing and having a drink on the balcony. Even though it's very close within walking distance to all the restaurants, cafes and bars, it's peaceful and quiet at night in the apartment. There were supermarkets and mini markets nearby as well, only thing is many of these don't open on Sundays so plan ahead during weekends. Tourist attractions were either walkable or easy to drive to. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. Parking is difficult in Heraklion in general but the hosts suggested 2 paid car parking facilities nearby which we used everyday without any issues. The rest of the time we just walked into the town centre from the apartment which was extremely convenient.

The apartment was perfect. Spacious, comfy beds, great shower, great AC and a nice little balcony. You can’t ask for more. The location was perfect…steps away from tons of shops and restaurants. Tiny Rebels became our favourite nearby coffee shop. Staff were courteous and helpful…Manos greeted us at the door and walked us through all the features of the apartment. Finally they have the most amazing APP that provides everything you need to know about the area…we went every restaurant they recommended and it was spot on. Highly recommended.
