Nice quiet hotel, easy reach from bus station and easy walk to all major museums and bus stops for out of town sites. No pressure from hotel reception, all very calm casual and polite. Added breakfasts to stay once at hotel and easy to pay on checkout. Rooms adequate and wasn't expecting or looking for 4star luxury. Comfy quiet little hotel. Excellent eating in small tavernas nearby.

As a couple with 1 of us with slight mobility issues, this location was even better than expected. 1 minute and we were on the seafront with bars and restaurants close by. 5 mins walk uphill and we were in the busy centre with shops bars & restaurants. The nearest bus stop for the Hop on Hop off bus that we booked was a couple of minutes away and the Venetian Port area was also walkable. We did decide to take a taxi to the Bus Station for our onward journey, which cost 8€. Rena, who was on reception almost throughout our 3 day visit was beautiful...smiling, welcoming, calm and engaging. We were delighted with our choice of hotel.

There was nothing about the hotel we didn't like. For us, the breakfast, though simple and not our usual fare, was nonetheless reasonable and set us up for the day. The coffee was good 😊.

Our full experience at hotel rea: We decided to write this rating in English (even though we are geek) just for it to be more understandable to all nationalities. We stayed there during the weekend (01/06/-02/06/2025) and checked in at 3-4 o'clock in the evening. The room? Perfect, the price? Even more Perfect, the location? Couldn't find a better one. At exactly 6 minutes from the center you find this beautiful hotel with a very polite and kind service. The lady that helped us was the nicest person making sure we are comfortable and secure Se even helped us with a problem we had on the last day regarding our luggage. We thank rea hotel for this wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend!!!

Room was comfortable and facilities worked well. Bed very comfortable too. Had the breakfast which was fairly basic but good value. Location was very central, close to the Historical museum but very quiet. I arrived a bit earlier than expected and was able to check in after a short wait while they finished preparing my room

There was a rather annoying quite loud noise that went off regularly in the daytime and occasionally during the night. The street that the hotel was on seemed rather dark at night though that didn't put me off going out.

This is a great hotel if you're spending a night or two in transit. It is maybe a fifteen minute walk to the ferries- and just steps away from the old town center where you can get many choices for food. The windows are soundproof, so you will have a quiet sleep- but the walls and hallway can get a bit noisy with people coming and going from ferries. The maid service was quick and efficient- and the aircon works great! Breakfast was mediocre- some bread and slices of cheese- and some hard boiled eggs. The coffee is instant- which serves the caffeine addiction, but does not add to coffee culture at all. The room for breakfast has no windows, so we were in and out very quickly. Good value for money

Property was a 6 minute walk from the main square and a 2 minute walk from nearby restaurants. 25 minute walk from the port. Quiet area but close to everything. Room was comfortable with a light breakfast. Our hosts, Stelio and Rene were so accommodating and looked after us very well. Stelio marked our map with areas we should visit whilst driving around Crete for 10 days. So helpful!!

Rooms were basic which we expected but not overpriced.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was perfect for an urban stay, located in the center yet in a quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable, the room super clean and the bathroom was very nice. Provided luggage lockers were definately a bonus, since we did not properly sync our arrival to the check-in hours. Overall a value-for-money experience!

Probably thin walls, while in a quiet area, it felt noisy at times. The breakfast was limited in options, but everything was super fresh and tasty. It could however be even better if it included just some extra egg options and filter coffee.

The hotel located in a very silent place. Everything was perfect, the bed was really comfy, and our room was cleaned every day. The owner of the hotel was also very friendly and helpful. The central bus station was in 10 minutes walk, and the shops/restaurants were even closer. The breakfast was also delicious, however there were not too many choices but for the price of it I think it worth it.

the location of the facility - exceptionally great, right in the center, and the staff is wonderful, exceptional, hospitable and smiling.

the only minus in our case was the size of the room. We were 3 people, but the size of the room was not sufficient to spread our suitcases comfortably.

Comfortable bed. Modern bathroom. Good value. Good soundproofing. Staff were very gracious and helpful.WiFi was good. Arrived quite late by flight, and there were clear instructions sent to facilitate after-hours self check in. Good location. Bus from airport stopped not too far away. Chose spontaneously to go for breakfast the next morning.
