This was the best stay I have ever had in Irakleio. From the moment we entered, we were warmly greeted by a charming gentleman, informing us on all the details. When we got into our room, I was amazed that we had paid so little for so much. Beautifully decorated, clean, perfect matress and pillows. Our friends had a room next to us, which was different, and equally beautiful. In the evening we walked to the centre which was so close. The breakfast was superb! Highly recommended. On the 5th floor there is also a roof garden, also well designed where I could enjoy my cigarette, with a fabulous view. I wish I could have stayed and slept there for much much longer! I rested well in the large comfortable bed. Well done to Kastro. You are brilliant!!!!! Thank you!!!!

The man at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top floor (5th). Once we understood how the elevator worked and how to get in the room we had no issues or problems. The room was very clean and efficient for our needs. The hotel was just a couple of blocks away from the main area of restaurants and shops. Just far enough so you didn’t hear the nightlife but very close to it if that is what you like.

The property was great! We had to park just down the street in a lot. Payed $24 for two nights. The attendant was very accommodating since we left both mornings before they opened, the first for Knossos and the next for the airport. He made sure our car was not blocked in and that it was right next to the exit.

Great hotel at the center of the city. Easy access to all of Heraklion's old town and just a short walk to the new town. The gentleman who checked us in was kind and funny and very informative. Our room was on the second floor with a wrap-around balcony and lots of good natural light. Unlike several of the other hotels we stayed in, which were small, family-run places, this was a true hotel, with a staff and breakfast room, etc. Fun to see the difference. Room had a refrigerator, tv, two beds, and was very spacious.

Bathroom was not super private: it had a folding glass door with large spaces. Kind of strange. Despite the fact that we turned on the "do not disturb/no room cleaning necessary" light, the maid still came in each day. It was a bit awkward and we wish there was a better way to make sure that our room wasn't disturbed. That said, she did a tremendous job cleaning up and we appreciated her efforts (even though they weren't requested)

The Hotel is very modern and in a Central Location, only 5 to 10 minutes from the Centre of Heraklion. I loved my room, complete with Balcony. It exceeded my expectations, one of the best rooms in the Hotel. The Breakfast was good, with a choice of hot or cold food or both. The Staff were kind and very helpful. Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean, as was the whole Hotel. Close to everything, all in walking distance, including main Bus Station, 25 mins... Would certainly stay here again. .

The Balcony door was slightly hard to close sometimes. I didn't think it was necessary to have the room cleaned each day.

The location right in the heart of Naoussa, 10min by walking to the city centre. The room was very spacious and comfortable, bed was super comfy as well. The balcony -though small- is so, so great! You can enjoy there a couple of minutes in the morning or at noon, taking a look outside and enjoying fresh air. Air conditioning was pretty good as well! Bathroom was ok and shower super good. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, thank YOU SO MUCH ANNA! Great host, what a welcoming, super warm and providing a lot of info!!

Trash from the rubbish bin in the bathroom was not picked up and bag was not changed on the second day.

The room is decent size, and feel spacious. The bed is comfortable. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. The location is strategic, easy access to the port and also to walk around the city center, close to restaurants and a supermarket around the corner.

The shower door could be made to close more tightly to prevent some water escaping out of the shower area.

Loved the comfortable rooms, the friendly and helpful staff and the amazing breakfast. The location was convenient for old town, with main square really close and the port. Really pleased we picked this hotel.

Minor issue that triple room was a double and a single rather than the 3 single beds per the booking. It was a minor grumble so we didn’t mention this to the staff at the time as our kids were ok sharing. If we had mentioned it,. I’m sure the staff would have rectified it, as they were so helpful!!

Everything was great. Next to city center, comfy and clean room, great bed!! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was great. But because the hotel was nearly full, everything was depleted very fast and the replenish time was slow. I understand it was a busy and high demand period (Christmas) but i guess they could have been better prepared for these days. It was very tasty and of high quality though.

Everything was great. Friendly, super efficient staff, large, well appointed room, very comfortable bedding, sparkling clean everywhere (they even clean the pavement in front!), nice breakfast buffet, very convenient location, absolutely central but calm (and easy airport access). They also have a very convenient arrangement with a secure parking site 1mn away. And the rooftop terrace is brilliant for chilling!

Nothing! everything was absolutely perfect

Kastro Hotel is centrally located one block from shops and restaurants. We walked the 12 minutes from the ferry port on arrival with no problem, basically a flat walk. We took a 10 euro taxi ride to the bus station on departure. A 10/15 minute walk to the Archeological Museum and a 20 minute local bus ride from there to Knossos. A very comfortable hotel with lift, good buffet breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.
