Location could not be better. A couple of minutes from everything, sights, restaurants, port, museums, taxis, buses and shops. 3rd floor sea view, wow what a view especially from the kitchen. Staff friendly and helpful. A lift which helps so much with suitcases, rare in old conservation areas.

Nothing. It's a city, so you hear the planes taking off and hustle, but it's all part of the positive experience.

The location is perfect but Iraklio is very small in general so it’s always very close from everywhere to everywhere:D The streets surrounding the apartment are really quiet though, unlike some parts where you hear restaurants the whole night. Aircon worked perfectly well although there is one only in the living room so the door to the bedroom has to be open. The staff is very very friendly and there is a parking 2 minutes away by feet where one can leave his car for only 8€/24h. Our baby had a birthday on the day we checked in and we got a small cake with a candle from the staff - thank you for that!😊 Also, late check out was no problem

The floor was not very clean, I have to say this. But when you have a baby running around the apartment you notice it. And please note, that each time you have to turn the heater for the hot water and wait for about 10 min and only then you can take a shower. But for Iraklio it’s a pretty common thing as far as I know.

Very good location, central and near the sea. I had the studio with the terrace, and the terrace with open city views is great, sunny all day. All the basics you need, relatively quiet, friendly staff.

The studio is very small and ascetic, ok for staying overnight, not cosy to spend your time “at home” — the terrace replaces a living room. No work light in the kitchen and the bed is quite hard. Even though the street noise is kept mostly outside with closed windows, the elevator in the house is loud and can wake you up at night.

Affordable, spacious apartments in the old town, short walk (few min) to centre of old town for exploring & from port for ferry arr/dep. Lovely local tavernas & coffee super close by. Staff more than happy to help & super friendly. For price paid it’s a great property!

Hard to fault really. Beds a little hard for my liking (struck that a lot in Greece) & prob need to sort front door out to auto close at night so it’s not left wide open (for security reasons as reception closes).

I loved the spacious south facing room with a generous balcony! The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The location was amazing and it was great having an elevator after long sightseeing days.

There could have been more glasses and cups but it wasn't really an issue. Helped me keep on top of washing the dishes. ;-)

First impression of location wasn’t great but after exploring the area we discovered it was very handy to many restaurants and a supermarket. Also the Hop on hop off bus stop was only a minute or 2 walk away. It is 5 to 10 minutes walk to town centre.

Didn’t realise that the apartment wouldn’t be serviced and we were only supplied with half a roll of toilet paper and had to ask to get more. Very low pressure in shower.

This was a 1 night stopover as we were catching an early morning ferry. It was in a perfect location for a 5 minute walk to the central square area. It was a 15 minute walk to the ferry. We were in a huge family apartment with double bedroom and a lounge / kitchen / dining area that also had 2 single beds, full cooking facilities, a large dining table, fridge freezer and TV. The balcony was a complete walkaround the apartment. It had all the toiletry essentials and was really clean. The staff on check-in were really friendly and I can't recommend it enough especially if looking for somewhere close to town/ferry.

Firstly, how easy the owners/staff make our arrival, which always seems to be during anti-social hours. They are so accommodating (forgive the pun). The rooms are spotlessly clean and the location a short taxi journey from the airport and is well placed to walk around Heraklion. Also, many little things like a bottle of cold drinking water left in the fridge, a snack, etc. The staff are lovely.

Nothing really. The road can be a bit noisy if the bedroom windows are left open, but this can be true of pretty much anywhere. Simply solved, don’t leave the bedroom windows open.

Herakleion Old Port Apartments is situated on the Port's doorstep surrounded by Historical Ruins & current dwellings. One would get the feeling you've gone back in time while you're living in the present. Mixture of both worlds. Location towards restaurants, cafes, bus stops & taxi stands is within seconds when you exit the building. Super Friendly Aretis is your Host & is very helpful to suit. Service is First Class. The apartment is clean, modern with all facilities to make your stay very comfortable for any family. Will definitely visit again 😀😎.

Accommodation for good price in the centre of Old town of Heraklion, close to the sea, port, monuments, museums, bars, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops etc. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was simply furnished but clean and spacious.

Nothing to complain about.
