The small hotel is right in the city centre but in a very quiet street. Good private parking and friendly host. The room is well equipped with coffee machine and all you need. So, excellent stay for us

Please, book the hotel from their website, don’t use booking.com. Why? Booking.com was mentioned by Francesca Albanese, special rapporteus for human rights in Palestine, in her latest report as one of the enterprises profiting from the regime of apartheid, with violations of basic human rights, in the West Bank. This is why I will no longer use booking.com, and, if you have any heart, don’t do it either, please.

I wanted a place with free parking because I didn’t want to deal with street parking. The friendly and helpful host guided us to our assigned parking space outside the hotel. The location was within easy walking distance of the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and Ta Liontaria with all the restaurants and shops. The apartment was very secure, as you used your key card to get in to the building, which as I appreciated as a mom traveling with two kids.

I was originally worried about having to self-check in as it was a Sunday, but there was someone at reception to greet us.

Our room was B2(on the first floor with a balcony with a city view). The room in the photos looks big, but in reality, it is too small. Also, in the photos, the interior looks new, but in reality, rather old and in the bathroom, you can trace some mold even. The hot faucet of the washbasin doesn't work, and in general, it is uncomfortable to use it. Wi-Fi was lagging(sometimes not working) when you lay down on the bed. The TV set is rather old(not smart) and shows nothing.

I recently stayed at Candia Suites and Rooms in Heraklion and had a wonderful experience. The room was well-equipped, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property has an elevator, which made getting to the room with luggage very easy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any questions or needs. Their professionalism really stood out and made the stay even more pleasant. One major plus is that they offer parking space, which is quite convenient, especially in a busy city like Heraklion. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting the area!

room it is to small

Perfect place for a short stay in Heraklion: near the city center but in a quiet area, we stayed in the smallest room with the shower on the side of the bed and it was good and spacious enough for 2 people. In the room there are also complimentary coffee and tea and some notes for the best places to eat in Heraklion...much appreciated.

In front of the shower there is the old shower tray...I think it would have been better to remove it or cover it during renovation.

We used this hotel as we were going to take the next day the ferry to Santorini and we wanted to stay close to the harbor. The staff helped us to arrange the taxi and were really kind suggesting us some places to have dinner. The aircon was working really good.

The only complaint that I would have is that it is in a really small street and the taxi did not want to enter the road and picked us up at the entrance of the road that it was 10 meters far, not an issue.

Very good location, it is nice to have parking possibilities there because it is very close to the center and parking could be expensive otherwise. The apartment was clean and check-in was fine, fridge with complimentary water was great.

The bathroom had a weird smell, I think the piping might be old because it is an old building, no windows in the bathroom either so maybe this contributed to the persistence of the smell.

The location is great in the Heraklion center. The communication with the staff was fantastic. They were so kind and helpful. They answered everything we asked very quickly and no request was too difficult for them! We stayed on two separate nights, at the beginning and at the end of our holiday. Both times it was amazing. The rooms were perfect. Very clean. Amazing shower. Comfortable beds. Great value. Also they have free parking which is really convenient. Would definitely stay again!

despite the directions we received, we had a bit of trouble finding the accommodation and the parking spot. The streets around the hotel are extremely narrow, which made it a bit of an adventure.. Other than that, great value for money and highly recommended.

Our double room was small, but very well furnished. (Looked exactly like the one advertised on the booking website.) The bed was also very comfortable, with multiple pillows. The rain shower was also a bonus, and came along with various massage nozzles/functions. Check-in and parking instructions provided well in advance by the staff, were very detailed and helpful. We arrived very late in the dark at the property and were still able to find the designated parking lot and property.

The loud noises from planes taking off or landing, exacerbated by the quietness of the city at night. It was impossible to sleep with the windows open, although we would have liked to sleep with fresh air in our room. Thankfully, there was a flight restriction after a certain time and it was quiet again.
