8 minutes from the airport. The hotel was clean well provisioned and well serviced. The staff were on large very good but a couple of staff members a wee bit surly and others too over familiar. The manager himself was really nice and was keen to know that everything was to your satisfaction, which it was. The room is a great size with a decent sized bathroom too. It is worth noting that the facility has 2 pool areas, the larger one with the pool bar has music, with the occasional DJ banging them tunes out! Or, if you prefer there is a quiet pool which is an absolute suntrap, both of which are serviced by barstaff. Oh, great parking by the way, a large private car park off the main road.

There is little to comment on the negative aspect here, except some of the staff could do with a spot of training in the art to too little and too much. Also, there is not much choice in Amnissos for restaurants etc. Not specifically a criticism - just an observation.

Anemos Suites in Heraklion, Crete was an absolutely fantastic experience. We booked a double room, and everything exceeded expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful views that really added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly made a difference. One of the biggest highlights was the location—just a short drive from the airport, which made our arrival and departure super convenient. The hotel is also well-placed for exploring the local area, with beaches and great dining options nearby. Overall, I highly recommend Anemos Suites to anyone visiting Crete. Whether you're there for a short stay or a longer vacation, it offers excellent service, comfort, and convenience. Definitely a 5-star experience.

This was a wonderful place to stay! I had a spectacular view to the ocean! Woke up and could see the sea from my bed through the window and also from the balcony (which was big). The room was lovely and the staff very friendly. The beach was only a two-three minutes walk, where the sand was lovely and there was a bar and lots of sun beds you could rent. Clear, warm water already in May, and could walk far before it got deep. Both from the beach and from the hotel you can watch the planes coming in to Heraklion airport, without being particularly noisy (I usually react to that sound as noise, but here it wasn’t loud at all) just a perfect place for plane-spotting. The hotel area had two pools and lots of beds. The room had a small fridge which was icy cold and kept the drinks cool in hot days. Will definitely stay here on my next journey to this area!

I would have wanted som vegan alternatives on the menu. Apart from that everything was perfect! Found a restaurant not far from the hotel (maybe 5 minutes walk) that offered vegan food

You create amazing, family atmosphere which made our stay even better. -Room - beautiful, amazing view, well equipped. -Food - delicious, great menu, -Pool - my daughter absolutely loved, palm trees around. We were leaving with the tears in our eyes! ❤️

Our room was just fantastic, modern and brand new, with a big and furnished balcony from which you can enjoy a beautiful sea view. The bed was nice and comfortable, the bathroom was also very pleasant and the room had air conditioning, a mini fridge, the bathroom also had some shampoo and shower gel. The staff was very nice, bedsheets and room were cleaned daily. We had such a pleasant stay, the hotel was very nice and quiet, so we could sleep in late. Their restaurant was also very good, most of the days we preferred eating there, as the food was better and for a good and reasonable price. The host was amazing too, very friendly, outgoing and helpful. The hotel also has a private parking with plenty of space, which was very convenient for our rental car that requires legal and safe parking. Overall we had the perfect holiday exploring Crete and staying and eating in the cozy, modern and clean hotel Anemos Suites, which is also a few meters from the beach. We can’t wait to visit again!!!

Very friendly staff, helped us really feel like on holidays :) They installed blinds at our room while we were there, which made our stay WAY better. The room was definitely not dark enough for a good sleep without them The cook was very friendly and the food was great!

The people on the dorm above were very loud in the evening, but the owners could have been more active into talking to them to solve the issue. We had to talk ourselves, which was not too useful Our room was in front of the pool, so it was really loud with children screaming, so not possible for a nap in the afternoon The children playground is ok, but there are a couple of broken toys that should be either fixed or removed There were also two of the equipments which you had to pay to use, not so nice for the children Also the inflatable castles were only available in the late afternoon Breakfast offers could be better. As bread there was only loaf bread available :/ Restaurant menus are only available in Greek. There should be an option in English

First, getting to the place is very simple and fast, 8 minutes from the airport, the place is located 30 meters from an amazing beach, neat and clean with a restaurant on the beach from which you can rent diverse seating options on the beach. We arrived a little earlier than expected and the staff made sure to prepare our rooms ahead of time. Throughout our short stay there the staff went above and beyond to satisfy our every request. In addition, on the day of our departure, since our flight was delayed we asked to check out later and the staff accepted the request. They also helped us in ordering a large taxi to the field. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Despite the proximity of the hotel to the airport, the rooms are very quiet.

We were a group of 3 families with children between 5 to 8 looking to relax and enjoy the sea. The rooms are nice, very clean and have everything you need. The food the restaurant serves is good and convenient. 2 minutes away from the accomodation there is a really clean and nice beach with wather just perfect for the kids. When it was too hot to stay at the beach, we enjoyed the pool on the property. The host and the staff were amazing and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

everything was perfect, the staff was really helpful and kind, they provided us with highest quality service always with a smile. apartments were big and clean, had everything we needed. the swimming pool had warm and clean water. food was delicious, they serve breakfasts and dinners made from local products. prices were also affordable. the location is also great, it’s a three minutes walk to a beautiful beach, we had a really nice view from our terrace. highly recommend!

We really loved staying here - staff were very hospitable. Room was clean and spacious, nice balcony and we enjoyed the bar area downstairs. It is also very close like 50 yards to a beach area so very handy. Choice of food at the bar and drinks were really food.

It’s a good 15 min drive from Heraklion so id bare this in mind if you are wanting to travel there by taxi or bus. I think the property could offer a breakfast option that’s included in the price.
