The location, it was the only hotel at this beach. Not too crowded, quite and the food was very good. Lots of options and made with love (we saw the details) :)

Since everything was so wonderful and relaxing for us, one really has to actively look for something not to like. Our opinion would be that, if we truly had to make a suggestion - it’s honestly not an issue at all – it would be to provide a return bin for the towels. As the spa closes at 6 p.m., towels can only be returned there until then, and if you stay longer at the beach, the only option is to return them at the reception. That would be the only thing, and again, it’s really just if one is trying to look for something negative to mention.

We chose this location for our honeymoon and it was the most amazing and unforgettable stay we could ever imagine. In general, the MK Hotel Collection staff are friendly, knowledgable and always ready to help - one could not go wrong by reserving a stay in either of their hotels. However, my review is for the Pnoé Hotel, as we received a very generous upgrade after reserving a room at the Unique Blue. Firstly, the whole resort is magical. The interior, the attention to detail, the whole vibe and especially the choice of music provide for a uniquely relaxing atmosphere. Add to that the extremely friendly staff and you get a dream vacation. During our two weeks, Rofe, Manolis, Melpomeni and Artemis made our stay uniquely memorable and we thank them for their kindness. The food and drinks were also amazing and some days we felt like we were just transferring from breakfast to the beach bar cocktails, back to lunch - what a way to vacation, truly. During our stay, we experienced a not insignificant earthquake and a cloud of Saharan dust and let me tell you I have never been so unbothered - the vibes were immaculate regardless. And lastly, the rooms: the well-thought-out storage, the elegant colour palette, the comfortable bed, the pillow menu and the private pool - truly an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail, the random acts of thoughtfulness and the dedication to making the guests feel special are unmatched. We are sure to return for another special occasion.

Everything was perfect. I see people complaining about the planes, so I will point out I did not mind (or often notice) the planes.

One of the best hotels we visited during the last years. All staff were extremely friendly and professional,food is excellent, location top notch, services are great. We were upgraded to Cicadas villa, an astonishing venue with private pool , jacuzzi, fire pit , own gym, perfect place to stay longer. We enjoyed every moment and for sure we will come back. I definitely recommend 100% if you want a memorable holiday. Thank you Alexandra and the entire team for making our stay perfect.

Everything. The staff was amazing, very friendly and nice, and helped with everything. The rooms were amazing and the pool rooms were a great choice. The food was excellent, breakfast lunch and dinner. Bar food was also great. The girls in the spa were very nice and the massage was good. Shisha bar was also a great addition. The bars were all great. The hotel's beach area is amazing and so nice that it's easy to access. Best vacation ever.

Order from sunbed took a very long time, so we eventually just went ourselves to the bar. The bar tender was alone and had a lot of orders all the time so it's understandable. The bar is also very close to the pool and the beach so it's no problem to just go there.

The property looks excellent. However it would not be the same without the people who are working there. The staff was very friendly and excited to welcome us. They gave us an upgrade from a hotel room to a VIP villa with its own pool, jacuzzi and gym. Anyway, the energy of the staff has made our stay, not just the upgrade. Special thanks to Lev from reception who is full of energy at any hour and will to help. In the end we want to say thank you to Manos who introduced us the facility and who was our guide on this wonderful resort. The energy and positivity this man passed to us is just amazing. We’ll definitely come back some time.

The property is a little too close to Heraklion Airport and it can get a bit noisy.

The hotel felt very calm and relaxing, plenty of food options on the buffet (and a very high standard of food). The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The spa was lovely and the massages were great. The room was clean and spacious. We felt very relaxed and well catered for during our stay, would highly recommend!

Only slight issue that didn't impact us was that there weren't as many loungers around the pool and people seemed to reserve them quite early (despite signs saying not to!) It didn't bother us as there were plenty of loungers on the beach, but it might have been nice to have a pool day! The only other thing might be to add a few extra mocktails to the menu. There were only 3 and they tasted quite similar. You can get great alternative gins/tequilas etc now so there's no reason not to offer more non alcoholic versions. There were a lot of pregnant guests (myself included) so this seemed like an oversight.

We had the best time at Unique Blue! Resort and Villas! The place is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. They went out of their way to help us plan a special dinner for our baby gender reveal, and it was just perfect—such a memorable moment! Everything about the resort, from the comfy room to the amazing service, was top-notch. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Totally recommend this place!

It’s a beautiful place, the food was good breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can order food and cocktails to the sunbeds from an app which was a really nice feature. Staff is very kind. We were on our honeymoon and we were so lucky that they upgraded our room our minute to one of the villas. Forever grateful.

We tasted almost all of the cocktails, only thing was that we didn’t find most of the cocktails to taste that good, but we found 2-3 that we liked and enjoyed.

The staff were excellent and attentive. The facilities and food were great

Our room was facing the Cicada Seascape restaurant and unfortunately they played their music very loud until midnight on a couple of occasions, which is not ideal for an early bird like myself. Additionally, one night there was what we assumed was a beach party further along the coast which played very load music on speakers until 5.20am in the morning it was so loud I did not sleep all night. As our stay was near the start of the holiday season I can only predict that this sort of beach party would become more frequent as the season gets busier.

- The hotel is super clean. They clean your room whenever you want, and I love their olive soaps and body gels. - Mostly friendly stuff. - Perfect for relaxing. - You can order drinks from the sunbeds. - Food is mostly delicious. - Sandy beach.

- Quality of drinks is really low. Don't dream enjoying a tasty cold beer or any other cocktail. - After 6 pm, the staff moves the sunbeds around you aggressively, like they want you to leave. Once, they asked me to move my sunbed because they wanted to move the sunbed next to me to take it to the initial point. - Maybe it's seasonal but the sea is too wavy to swim but you can still enjoy it :)
