- the location could not be better: it is in the centrum of the centrum. Everything can be reached on foot. The street is wide, beautiful, safe. And the theater is around the corner - special thank you to the personeel for all their kindness and support. I was organizing the trip for my mom and her friend, both not experienced at all travellers not speaking English, 65+. This required way more communication and help that usual. - breakfast was great. Guests got a choice of 7-8 dishes in 2 places nearby. They were amazed. - it was critical for the quests to get separate beds. And somehow it was rather hard to find that in Budapest centrum. Here the beds were separate. - the room was rather simple inside, and as far as I understood from my mom, the kettle was a bit old. But, look at all above, and all within rather limited budget, and the place was booked only few weeks in advance. Really, nothing to complain about

Ben was very nice. He was willing to accommodate our late arrival, but we ended up checking in during business hours, so it was all good. The AC and mini fridge worked well. I didn't know that street parking is free on the weekends, in Budapest, I loved that. We didn't have to go too far to find a spot. There's a bakery just a few doors down with excellent pastries for breakfast. This hotel is within walking distance of the House of Terror Museum, the Opera House, the Cat Museum (make your reservation well in advance - they get booked up!), Flipperz Museum, the Hop-On-Hop-Off ticket kiosk (highly recommend using this to get around the city), St. Stephen's Basilica and so much more. I'm not going to write what I didn't like. Yes, the room is a little dated, but that is not a problem for us. The beds were comfortable, the security was great! 3 doors someone would have to get through to reach us. If you're looking for an affordable way to visit Budapest, this is a good place.

The location is fantastic - easy access to all means of transport, near a lot of great places to visit and marvellous architecture. It has a lift to access upper floors, a fridge - which is great.

The guesthouse is comfortable enough if you spend only evenings in your room. The walls are really thin and you can hear everything about your neighbours. There are two locations outside you get your breakfast, but this is quite a basic selection and too small for a teenager (had to buy extra bagels).

The location is excellent, in a very good area. Breakfast is served at a café next door, or there's another option about a 10-minute walk away. The air conditioning was ice cold, and the bed was comfortable — really worth the money. Buda Castle is a 20–30 minute walk, and Heroes' Square is also within walking distance.

The reception is not 24 hours, but I messaged the host about our arrival time, and he was waiting for us. He was also very reachable by phone and email, which made everything very convenient.

Brilliant location, friendly staff, exceptionally clean, if basic accommodation at a very reasonable price. Really well situated both in terms of the airport shuttle drop-off, walking tours, in the centre, near public transport, very easy to walk around historic parts of Pest and with some excellent coffee shops and restaurants nearby. This is my second time and I would always choose to stay here when visiting Budapest.

Everything is excellent for basic accommodation at an excellent price.

We had an excellent price for a hotel in this location. Centrally located in a beautiful and communicative area, yet the room is quiet, overlooking a courtyard in an old building. The triple room is spacious and sunny, with a seating area, a small fridge and an electric kettle. Basic and simple, just as in the photos and what we prefer. Communication with reception was seamless. The room was ready in advance, possibility to leave luggage.

There is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, a small inconvenience that needs to be fixed.

Big room featuring a fridge and a kettle. For the price per night, it's a great deal based on the location. Close to the opera, 10-15 minute walk to St Istvan. Simple room with all amenities needed, great if you want an affordable city centre experience and avoid sharing a room with strangers like in a hostel. It was clean.

The walls felt paper thin - I could hear everything going on in my neighbors bedrooms, the hallway, and every time a door opened/closed and the lift was called. It made for a pretty noisy and uncomfortable sleeping experience in an otherwise ok room.

A wonderful guesthouse. The room was small but comfortable and cozy. The shower, toilet, and sink were in excellent condition. Amenities were provided, although I had to buy shampoo :) The man at the reception was polite and ready to help. The windows faced the courtyard, and with the window open, I could hear the bell ringing from the nearby church. I thought it might be bothersome, but it was actually very comfortable. The cleanliness was especially pleasing. It’s a 15-minute walk to the Budapest-Nyugati station, 7 minutes to the tram stop, and another 8 minutes to the train station.

I had to wait a bit for the hot water to start flowing from the tap, but it wasn’t a big deal.

The people at the reception were very courteous. They take us to our rooms and show us around the rooms and even check for themselves that it's clean and tidy. It's within walking distance from the tram and metro stations, lots of eateries around. There is also an air conditioner present in the room. It was a welcome change feom the heat outside.The room was quite during the night, it also had a spacious bathroom. An electric kettle, hair dryer, coffee powder were provided in the room.

There are quite a few beggars on the route between the tram stop and the hotel route, during noon time when I came in from Buda area, I recommend coming via the metro to the opera station, if possible. The power extension in my room 22 had only one working socket and needs to be replaced.

The place was clean and well kept. It is in a very good location, in close proximity to shops, good restaurants and public transport. The service was friendly and check in was easy and clear.

The WiFi would sometimes work slow or cut off, it it was not a big issue. Aside from cups and spoons for coffee or tea, there was no other cutlery, like a knife to cut a bun or spread butter on it.
