The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—everything we needed was right nearby, so we didn’t have to use public transport at all. It was super clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly, which made our stay even better.

It’s an older hotel, but I can’t say I didn’t like it. They’re already renovating parts of it, which is a good sign. One small thing to note is that when you remove the electricity card, the lights turn off immediately. It’s not a big deal and could be easily fixed—I’m sure it’s something they’re addressing as part of the renovations.

- some thing in the room were falling apart and worn (toilet paper holder fell out of the wall, chuck of wall were missing) - shower head was at about 4 feet and could not be moved, shower curtain was flimsy and the tub was very slippery (no bathmat inside the tub) - housekeeping asked to clean the room, we politely declined and said we won’t need it for any days (3 nights), the housekeeper acknowledged, however the following day they entered the room without permission (the room did not have a ‘do not distrub’ sign) - there is a nightclub next door, there may be some noise on some nights

Absolutely the main thing which stands out is how incredible the staff were! Me and my friend struggled to get in the room but that was our own faults however without hesitation the reception staff offered to come help out! They greeted us every morning and evening! They were amazing! The Location is incredible also as you have all you can ask for nearby from a supermarket to food places to even a nightclub and other bars! The Hotel itself was lovely and they even offered breakfast however me and my friend did not attend due to seeing other friends and going out however if I was solo, I would definitely have had breakfast! The rooms were great also, we had two single beds and they did the job perfectly for a place to stay etc!

The location is perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, an amazing experience! I would highly recommend Gartner Hotel to anyone visiting Budapest and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Staff is really helpful. The whole Hotel smells wonderful. Heating is really good and there are no problems with hot water.

I believe that the door to our room was a bit broken. We couldn’t open them or close easily. Also, I would suggest giving more than one key to the room when there are multiple people staying because. It’s easier organizational wise, and also, since the electricity in the room is tied to the key card, when you need to unlock the door you will be left without power or light.

I booked this place when our last apartment got cancelled last minute and I must say I was happily surprised. The place was pretty well maintained, rooms were always tidy when I came back from a long day outside and the staff was really friendly, always helpful and available with amazing cooperation. You can walk in and out whenever you want to as the place is always open. I have no complaints during my stay here and I would definitely come again.

The hotel is near city center. The famous New York Cafe is only 5 minutes walking from the hotel. The bus stop for the airport is at 15 minutes walking. The reception staff was really friendly and helpful. They give good information for everything I asked, late check in was possible and there is also special place for luggage near reception. They can arrange also bus transportation for you directly to the airport if you ask one day before. Everything was nice and clean.

Our room was large, the windows were great in that we really didn’t hear outside noise. The blackout curtains were awesome. The staff were really fantastic, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

We only had one small lamp to light the room that was not at all adequate. The bathroom sink tap was difficult to operate and the shower nozzle could not be attached to the wall as the holder was broken as was the shower door. All were reported to management so hopefully fixed if you ever get our room!

Everything was very professional, very comfortable, enjoyable, from location to hotel amenities, but in all of the experiences i have had, i hve never encountered such exceptionally wellcoming staff, from each one of the reception persons to cleaning peronell. You made my stay even more pleeasurable.

The location and the staff are amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is near to most of the places that you want to visit, if you like to walk, you can make it to every place from the Gartner Hotel, more or less.

Ain’t no internet access with the smart tv at the room, so you can turn on the tv and watch about 10 channels only in Hungarian. So you can’t watch Netflix and chill after a whole long day of walking around and enjoying the city. They need to add soap to the rooms and fix the showers, I mean they are working, but they are standing on the walls.
