Location, impressive building

There is a drain smell both on third floor general lift area and downstairs female toilet area, the heating in communal areas is not at a homely level coming in from a November’s day, the pull doors at entrance are often left open by patrons rather than the rotating door set up in most hotels of this calibre, the bar area should be a cozy retreat for a drink and reflection of the day, there is need to keep on your coat , and this was reflected by several around us. Pity because that bar could be buzzing.

Beautiful surroundings good location in the heart of the city, about 25m walk from danube and the bridge to Margaret island. Which is also close to the parliament building, both a must see.. Beautiful spa with pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi included with the right rooms. Can get busy and getting a bed to leave your belongings on a bit challenging. There are no lockers from what we saw, so you may have to just leave them on a bench but not a major issue.

Breakfast can be a bit manic, it may have been a bad morning, but staff were unable to clear tables quickly enough.so left searching for a table and having to angle around them waiting for a table to be cleaned. Selection, choice, and quality are really good. But dd feel a bit like a mad all inclusive service rather than a relaxed environment.

Dear Corinthia Hotel, Thank you so much for the wonderful 3 days I spent at your hotel! After many disappointing experiences, I finally found a beautiful hotel in Budapest where one can truly feel at home, with an extremely kind and attentive staff. I can only recommend it to everyone! This was the friendliest staff I have encountered during my stays in Budapest. Csilla, the breakfast manager, fulfilled all my requests and took my lactose intolerance into consideration. Lorenz prepared a fantastic omelette exactly to my wishes. Richard ensured my glass was never empty, and Lili diligently brought me the cutlery I needed. In the wellness area, I also met a kind and helpful team who made sure all the guests were as comfortable as possible. In the evening, Illak, the bar manager, treated me to his fantastic signature cocktails, which were not only incredibly delicious but could also hold their own on an international level. The hotel's wellness area is very impressive – I highly recommend it! The fitness room is not large, but it has everything you need for a quick workout. I will definitely return as a guest in the future! Liebes Corinthia Hotel!

I noticed a few stains on the carpet in my room. The breakfast selection is very good, but it could be further improved.

Good location, big space, nice decoration and clean. It has thermal water in the SPA. Massage treatment was worth the money! I wish I could have booked more than one treatment.

SPA access is not included in the booking. This is not too clear before booking. The SPA is open also not to the Hotel guests. The hotel is huge and there are only 15 beds in the SPA. It’s really busy. When we arrived, we were informed that there was no space for treatments until 4 days later. They told us that we should have booked in advance. Unfortunately we were not informed about this.

The hotel felt very luxurious and we really appreciated the festive decorations in the Lobby/around the hotel. Check-in & check-out was very smooth and the staff were lovely. Also very much enjoyed the spa!

Our room was great apart from the fact that the air conditioning/heating unit didn't seem to be able to be completely turned off. It might have been because it was an internal window room to help with ventilation but this meant there was a constant draft and flow of quite cold air which wasn't great overnight. Otherwise everything else was great.

Firstly, the service from staff at the Corithia was superb. From the front of house staff at breakfast remembering our room number and morning drink, to the staff doing the evening turn down, it made our stay feel exceptional. The breakfast was excellent and spa facilities well worth paying for access. The bar manager was really knowledgeable on drinks and the cocktails were excellent. The building was grand but still felt comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights and the room was large with a shower and bath in the bathroom. Location in Budapest is very central with lots of places within walking distance or a tram ride away.

The first room we were offered was a little bit tired in decor- chips in furniture for example- it was still nice but I was being fussy as were staying for a 5 nights. However, we asked to see another room and were immediately moved. The staff really went beyond to make sure we were happy with our stay.

A great location for visiting the core sites of Budapest. Lots of bars and restaurants in easy distance so you can really step into Budapest vibe. Amazing breakfasts, awesome decor and building design. We were in an executive room which was very spacious and had excellent facilities. The house-keeping staff were so attentive; in fact all the team at the Corinthia are brilliant. Friendly, helpful and cheerful. Thank you for the gift of bottle of champagne and a cake to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary.

We used the hotel brasserie on the first night. The waiting time for our food was unacceptable especially as there were only 3 other tables with guests. The food itself was faultless when it came.

We visited the hotel for our honeymoon. Amazing luxurious hotel, the room was very clean and tidy, the staff very kind and willing to help and very convenient location regarding public transportation. I totally recommend it.

We stayed at Corinthia Budapest for a surprise engagement weekend. The staff were great (genuine, helpful, polite), the property is lovely (very spacious, nice decor, great spa), and the location was perfectly located for a long weekend. We didn't try the evening al la carte menu but the breakfast and room service were both excellent. All round great VFM you won't be dissapointed.

It is on a busy road so you'll occasionally hear sirens late at night, but the hotel is not to blame for that. It seems to be double glazed. I am a light sleeper and it didnt really affect me (but bring ear plugs just in case!)

It was a great stay with amazing experience, staff always nice and with a smile, place stunning! Always bringing fresh new towels, water, made Birthday surprise as well! Best recommendations!

Sadly pool area wasn't heated enough - after sauna/pool/jaccuzi we couldn't stay and chill on beds cause it was a bit cold ..:) also was a bit weird while last day one of staff came to check mini bar (1,5h until our checkout) and other girl called to check ( 1 hour before checkout) to ask if we received robes from yesterdays request.. it seemed like they wanted us to checkout quicker :D
