Beautiful surroundings good location in the heart of the city, about 25m walk from danube and the bridge to Margaret island. Which is also close to the parliament building, both a must see.. Beautiful spa with pool, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi included with the right rooms. Can get busy and getting a bed to leave your belongings on a bit challenging. There are no lockers from what we saw, so you may have to just leave them on a bench but not a major issue.

Breakfast can be a bit manic, it may have been a bad morning, but staff were unable to clear tables quickly enough.so left searching for a table and having to angle around them waiting for a table to be cleaned. Selection, choice, and quality are really good. But dd feel a bit like a mad all inclusive service rather than a relaxed environment.

Location, impressive building

There is a drain smell both on third floor general lift area and downstairs female toilet area, the heating in communal areas is not at a homely level coming in from a November’s day, the pull doors at entrance are often left open by patrons rather than the rotating door set up in most hotels of this calibre, the bar area should be a cozy retreat for a drink and reflection of the day, there is need to keep on your coat , and this was reflected by several around us. Pity because that bar could be buzzing.

The staff were all delightful and so helpful and courteous. Lovely spa which was peaceful with great facilities.

It would be better if the price for using the pool was included in the room rather than an additional cost.

Bathroom a bit run down and shower cubicle leaked a lot. Not what you'd expect for the price from a top end hotel.

Staff very responsive and friendly, breakfast was filled with good options. Spa was clean and easily accessible. Location very close to tram and is walking distance from districts we wanted to explore. When we had issues and reported them, the supervisor was very accommodating and helpful, willing no to compensate us in any way possible.

Spa got a bit crowded. Rooms/hallways need upkeep (cracks, chips, worn out robes). The sheets were stained though very clean and the staff immediately changed bedding for us. Food was so abundant at breakfast I was concerned about food waste but this is common in big hotels.

We love the location, very close to public transportation and touristic places. The residence hôtel is perfect for family stay ( enough space in the room) as all rooms are located in a very peaceful area with interior gardens.

We did not like our beds. They were not comfortable . I believe the Hotel can upgrade/update some areas a little bit as they feel old. In addition, the use of the spa with its pending reservation process needs some improvements. We faced several misunderstandings related to spa services. However, please note that the spa services were wonderful. The spa specialists were knowledgeable, patient and caring. Kudos as well of the guest specialists at the entrance of the hotel. They were awesome.

The property is beautiful. The restaurant is divine and breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and the spa staff. We must give a special mention to Joszef and his trio. Their music during the evenings were a highlight of our holiday. Please send him our regards (from the couple from New York and Belgrade). Phenomenal.

It was obvious our room hadn’t been used in a while. There was some dust, and the bathroom had a foul smell. It went away after I turned on the shower - clearly the water in the P trap had evaporated. Also our room wasn’t ready despite our arrival at 6:30pm - and there was no one to greet us at the front door. It was an odd arrival.

The breakfast was immaculate. Staff was extremely kind and helpful with very good english levels. The building and the decoration feels luxurious. Hotel it is not very close to Danube but walking route is leisurely too. St.Stephens basilica and opera house is very close. There is a tram stop right in front of the hotel which makes everything easier. I bought a 3 day pass for city transport and was able to reach every attraction point easily. There are lots of bars and etc. close to the hotel, so even at late hours the surrounding is not desert. The room was perfectly adequate with a simple but elegant looking decoration. (Bonus tip: the hair dryer is in the drawer of the desk :)

The room was smaller than I anticipated but perfectly enough. Also, the room was overlooking at a smallish courtyard but since it was on the top floor it was not dark and this made the room extremely quiet.

The hotel was a charming and lovely old building with large rooms and excellent breakfasts. Staff was helpful and smiling. Good Executive Club Lounge. The Royal Spa is a fantastic addition.

The rooms need a refurbishment with some older and frayed appliances- everything works but is not the most modern or stylish. Internal comms within the hotel could work better- one night in the Atrium restaurant a fantastic musical trio was playing and only two people appeared to be dining. I would have dined there that night had I known about the special music but I have no idea how I would have found out! There may have been promotional screens but I did not see them in the lobby or elsewhere.

Dear Corinthia Hotel, Thank you so much for the wonderful 3 days I spent at your hotel! After many disappointing experiences, I finally found a beautiful hotel in Budapest where one can truly feel at home, with an extremely kind and attentive staff. I can only recommend it to everyone! This was the friendliest staff I have encountered during my stays in Budapest. Csilla, the breakfast manager, fulfilled all my requests and took my lactose intolerance into consideration. Lorenz prepared a fantastic omelette exactly to my wishes. Richard ensured my glass was never empty, and Lili diligently brought me the cutlery I needed. In the wellness area, I also met a kind and helpful team who made sure all the guests were as comfortable as possible. In the evening, Illak, the bar manager, treated me to his fantastic signature cocktails, which were not only incredibly delicious but could also hold their own on an international level. The hotel's wellness area is very impressive – I highly recommend it! The fitness room is not large, but it has everything you need for a quick workout. I will definitely return as a guest in the future! Liebes Corinthia Hotel!

I noticed a few stains on the carpet in my room. The breakfast selection is very good, but it could be further improved.
