We absolutely loved our stay at Lambhus Glacier Cabins. We got clear instructions how to check in, the cabin was warm when we arrived & we were greeted by 10+ horses at arrival that stuck around right behind our cabin throughout the night. The whole experience felt magical! The cabin is pretty simple but clean, and has everything you would need (there is a limit on hot water as well, I believe it was 30mins, just as a heads up). We had a wonderful stay & wished we booked for longer than just one night.

We stayed one night at the Lambhus Cabins and we had a very nice stay. Check in was very easy (with very helpful and detailed instructions) and the cabin had everything we needed. I was amazed at how well the cabin was set up for a small space! It had a kitchen and a refrigerator which helped a lot with making a meal at night. We had fun sleeping in the bunk beds, which were super comfy, and the blackout shades were helpful during the summertime daylight hours. Our kids really enjoyed jumping on the trampoline on the property. The views were incredible. All in all, five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Lambhus Glacier View Cabins! 🌟 The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the glacier right from our cabin. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cabin was spotless, well-equipped, warm, and comfortable, exactly what we needed in Iceland’s ever-changing weather ❄️🔥. Waking up to such incredible scenery every morning was truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and serene Icelandic experience!

Everything was perfect!

The location is amazing. Really stunning view! The checking was very smooth and it's great that you can park the car just before the tiny house. We also really liked how the tiny houses are situated to each other, so everyone has a great view of the glacier. We definitely can recommend it and we'll definitely book it again when we're in Iceland next time.

The interior definitely has its charm, but it's clear that it's a bit older and it could get a bit of an upgrade in the future for it to elevate the whole experience to a 11 for very excellent! :)

Great views and good location. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was ok but even just cooking spaghetti was cramped (hard to heat sauce and cook noodles simultaneously). But for real basic food it was ok. No microwave. The shower was ok too but no matter how careful we were most of the bathroom floor was wet after a shower. The squeegee they supplied came in handy! Overall we liked Lambhus Glacier Cabins a lot and would stay there again.

The cost but everything in Iceland is outrageously expensive!

The cabin was clean, practically brand new. Chairs behind the cabin gave access to early morning coffee with a stunning view. The sofa bed was serviceable, the kitchen, such as it was, was stocked well for an efficiency including a nice French press and electric kettle. The cabins all seem set up nicely for a view of the glaciers.

Pillows were a bit flat and we would have liked more than one each.

So peaceful! It had everything I would need, without me even knowing it. I was in cabin #1 and the bunkbeds I thought were going to be small were a full/queen, everything in there was clean and they even had a french press with fresh ground coffee for me to make in the AM -as well as some teas. The wind was nuts the day I arrived so I was stoked to get to a safe haven, the views were glorious and it was the perfect little cabin to help me feel safe. The wind was so strong the entire cabin was shaking but I found it oddly adorable and comforting because the structure/bones were quite strong and the energy just felt so nice :) I slept so well and check in/check out was a breeze. I was alone and have been touring all the nature baths on island so I didn’t have to use any hot water/shower, but the toilet and kitchen had everything.

The only thing I have issues with is unsecured wifi networks. It’s my own thing but that is literally all I had issues with so I didn’t use it. It is great that they offer free wifi, I simply wouldn’t log on cause networks that don’t require passwords sketch me out.

So it is a small and simple cabin with all the necessities. The panoramic view was incredible - multiple glaciers in sight was just beautiful. But it was safe and quiet my boys loved running around jumping on the trampoline and played with some other kids staying as well. The staff was nice and I was desperate to have laundry done and she charged $20 US for 3 hours but was totally worth it (in the middle of nowhere).

You do need to plan how to shower (get wet, Turn off water, soap over, rinse off) if you are a family as limited hot water but realised not unusual for cabins in this area.

The location is simply outstanding! We had the lowest cabin with a magnificent view of 5 glaciers, horses in the pasture next to us and just undisturbed nature. The cabin is simple but well equipped. It was incredibly cozy and the two bunk beds were snug for us as a family. The kids enjoyed the playground, especially the swing.

Unfortunately there is no possibility to sit outside the cabin. I would also rate the price-performance ratio as not the highest (also for Iceland).

The cabin was very cute, delivering a lot of privacy out in the country and a distance away from the nearest cabin. It was a bit more rustic than some of our other accommodations, but that really added to its charm. The room had plenty of space for three of us, providing multiple options for sleeping arrangements. We didn't ever interact with our see any staff, but our check-in/ checkout went seamlessly. There were Adirondack chairs set up to view the glacier in the distance, three were horses nearby, and a football/ soccer net and ball a well as a trampoline that helped my son blow off some steam.

The bathroom floor got quite wet while showering and it was a bit of effort to use the provided squeegee to remove the water. It wasn't a big deal, just a little inconvenient.
