Great location, right in the heart of the city!! You can reach anything around the main attractions within a 5-10 minute walk. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! The room is clean and has a great layout with plenty of counter space and mirrors with great lighting. The shower has good pressure and it has great amenities in the room such as: a fridge, nespresso machine, and kettle. The beds are comfy. The light layout actually makes sense in the rooms. The spa and gym are super accessible and easy to schedule. Overall, this hotel was amazing! Will definitely be back!

The shower leaks just slightly under the door, and there is no place to set your items within the shower. So they go on the floor, which is a bit of an inconvenience. Overall if that's my biggest complaint this place is perfect!

My room was on the 4th floor, facing the rear of the hotel which was nice, the front would face the main square, which I believe is only really lively during summer when tourism is at it's highest (with activity being directly outside restaurants rather than in and around the square itself). I chose to add breakfast to my booking and did not regret it, very wide selection of foods as well as a simple and free a la carte menu with popular choices (the avocado and egg is great! Had it nearly every day). The various teams are all friendly, polite, welcoming and knowledgeable. They all collectively made my stay a memorable one. I've contacted the hotel directly to send praise to specific team members in order to maintain their privacy, but I hope this illustrates the lasting effect their hard work and conscientiousness has left with me. I got a Classic King Room which was very spacious and the bathroom was lovely, with a very good warm shower and underfloor heating. Location-wise its perfect, a few minutes walk from the city hall bus stop (#1 - Ráðhúsið) which is great for arriving from/travelling to Keflavik International Airport/BSI bus terminal or for setting off on excursions/other trips. Its also near where the nearest parking lot is as far as I could tell, but I never rented a car during my trip and used public/private transport most of the time. Bear in mind, if you do opt for transfers, you'll be dropped off either behind the hotel (which has access anyway) or in the front but behind a security barrier. This is understandable as it the area is where their actual Parliament is after all, hence the name!

Property: it was centrally located, and close to all major bus stops and everything from shops, to restaurants to rainbow street were super close Staff: all the staff working there were super sweet and helpful especially a young lady by the name of Gulia working at the main desk. She was a super star, helped us with tickets, bookings , honest review and advice on where to go when our booking of Blue lagoon got cancelled. Food: the food whether it was the bar or the restaurant inside the hotel was lovely

I was informed that the sauna and steam facilities in the hotel are not free so that was a damper as it is cold in Iceland and I was looking forward for some sauna and steam in the evening after our daily group activities

Very Nice hotel, closed to the center (about 7 min from Rainbow St). The hotel seems more like a 5 stars based on average world standards. The food at the restaurant was excellent (except the desert). Will definitely go back if I have the opportunity to be in Reykjavik again (hopefully).

Only one thing: this hotel stay was a treat for my birthday and usually hotels do a small gesture (a card, words, a spa discount or a slice of cake) but they did not even acknowledge. But still a very nice hotel where I will be happy to go back.

Modern, interesting art, clean. Reception very nice and helpful.

No coffee available in the morning in the lobby after breakfast until lunch time. One of the male staff (older gentleman) in lounge area by lobby very unfriendly, cold and unwelcoming. Disappointing, as one does wish to be greeted with a smile and a welcoming demeanor. The staff at the restaurant are also not that friendly and too quick and eager to take away plates at breakfast. Again, they all need to SMILE more, especially for tourists who come from countries where smiling is expected and normal.

- Excellent, central location with pick-up point just 2 min walk away (bus stop 1) - Comfortable bed and spacious room, perfect for a week-long stay - Nice breakfast - Good hotel bar - Friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay

Room cleaning was generally good, though occasionally small details were missed - like not removing water from the espresso machine or restocking mint tea - but overall, the room was very clean and comfortable

Clean and comfortable rooms, especially the interconnected setup which was ideal for our family. The staff were amazing & very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and great quality.

Service staff often used guest elevators, which sometimes caused delays. Also, direct access for private cars or taxis would be helpful, especially when traveling with luggage and small children. Alternatively, having electric buggies to assist with pickup/drop-off from the square would make a real difference.

The location was amazing. From the hotel it was easy to reach all the sights in the city walking and very close to Bus Stop 1 where we picked up all the excursions we arranged. Our room was great, with everything required for an enjoyable and what you would expect from a Hilton Hotel. The hotel restaurant is fabulous. Breakfast choices are extensive and all delicious and like the rest of the hotel the service is impeccable. I would recommend this hotel and will be staying there again on my next stay to Iceland.

I loved everything

How close it was to everything. The floors in the bathroom had radiant heating it was amazing to walk on warm floors after a long day of site seeing. We loved Iceland and how clean the water was from the tap.

There was no way to cool off our room besides cracking windows at night . Unfortunately our room was surrounded by bars that were loud most of the night. So we lost a bit of sleep over drunk people, fireworks and street racing. Also the room next to us, door was not on any kind of soft close system and they slammed it every time entering and exiting. We stayed in 515.

Excellent service. Great breakfast. Overall very good facilities.

Hotel design is such, because of renovations and additions involving older preexisting buildings, that all tooms do not have a good view. Our 1st room (for AUD approx $900/night) was depressingly dark and basically looked out onto a wall from another building, and the office staff kindly changed us to a better room which was lighter, but still even then didn't have much of a view. This is an expensive hotel, and for this, one would expect better room outlooks.
