The location could not have been better. It was in the center of everything and near many bus stops. The room was very clean, and it had a nice breakfast.

I made my reservation 8 months before my stay, which was plenty of time to plan and accommodate me. I requested a lower floor and was told they had made a note of my request, which led me to assume they would honor it. They did not. The hotel was fully booked the day we arrived, and they were unable/unwilling to make a change. Also, the two men at the front desk the morning we arrived to drop our luggage were morons and not pleasant. Thankfully, when we returned later in the day to check in, the woman at the desk was much more professional and personable, and helped change the bad impression that the morning front desk staff had left me with.

From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful, and our room was fine. The breakfast was fine with a good choice of hot and cold dishes. Overall, an enjoyable one night stay.

The location of this hotel was fantastic, walk outside and take right or left turn, you are right in the center of it all. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. But the main part was the staff especially Bora the front desk girl that greeted us. She was extremely welcoming, fun to speak with, we bonded over me having same name as her sister, helpful with suggestions of where to explore, each time we walked back into the lobby she had a big hello and a smile and did not mind the many many questions we had being in Reykjavik for the 1st time. I would stay there again anytime just for that fact.

The location is superb for travellers wishing to explore the abundant shops, restaurants and cafes that are in the downtown areas. The hotel is just around the corner from one of the main streets. The area is traffic controlled, so if you are taking the Flybus from the airport you get dropped off at bus stop 6, which is less than a 5 minute walk, perfect. Although the hotel is in the city centre we did not find noise a problem. The room we stayed in was a standard double. This was well appointed, extremely clean and had a great bathroom/shower. The bed was comfy and the blackout curtains made for a great sleep. We stayed for 4 nights in Feb 25 and the room was perfect for our needs. The room rate include breakfast, this provided excellent quality and variety. The breakfast items were regularly reviewed and re-supplied. A special mention to the breakfast staff who were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a pool and spa that you can use for a small additional fee, we did not use this as we were out and about on tours so much but, it's a nice facility to have. The reception staff were super helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were able to assist us when we needed help. I loved Iceland and this hotel was an ideal base for our short trip, being so central and near to bus stop 6. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

There was no dinner facility at the hotel but, with so many places to eat in close proximity, I can see why they do not provide any.

Great location, the spa facilities are a nice bonus. The room was a decent size. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast had decent selection and was very enjoyable.

We had the junior suite, whilst the bed was large, it was two singles pushed together and because of the bed frame, there was as 2-3 inch gap between the matresses, making it difficult for a couple to sleep comfortably. I had to use some towels to fill the gap. The controls for the bath and shower looked cool but a bit fiddly, hard to get temperature of water right.

Amazing location near all the bars and restaurants and only a 1 minute walk from bus stop 6 for all of the trip pick up points. Easy walk to the BSI terminal but about 15 mins so not too bad. The breakfast was great and very comfy room. The spa is €25 per guest per stay and has a small shallow pool and a sauna. We used it maybe once as we were always out but would be worth it if you had time to use it! Robes provided there too. I would have just liked a radiator in our room to dry wet clothes from snow during the day. But other than that this is an exceptional stay.

First of all the staff here are so engaging and lovely and nothing is nicer when travelling when you can see that staff are happy! The decor is lovely and the heaters in the rooms work almost too good! The bed is comfy and large bathrooms. The location was on the corner of the Main Street and a short walk to the harbour to see the northern lights. Reykjavik is a lovely town

Some rooms had shower curtains that I feel could be redesigned a bit better and the bedding comforters were very hot. Breakfast was fine and had some good choices however the presentation of the foods could use updating

Everything! The room is spacious, stylish and clean. The location is central, the lounge is stylish too. The best are the employees! They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We celebrated the birthday of my husband and their arrangements were amazing, so many compliments and even an upgrade which we couldn’t expect! we enjoyed all the amenities so much! Spa was also included in the price for our room

If the spa was not included, 25 eur entry fee is way to expensive The breakfast could contain higher quality ingredients

Great position in the heart of Reykjavik. Spacious room and delicious breakfast with plenty of choices. The most fantastic part is the staff: everybody is so kind and professional! We had to check out very early this morning (around 4 am) and the concierge made sure we had warm croissants and hot tea and coffee for us not to go on an empty stomach. We didn't ask because we felt it was too early but It made us feel very well taken care of. Thank you again.

A minor thing: I wish the mattress was a bit more comfortable, but all considered it was a fantastic room.

The front desk staff was helpful and friendly (especially with finding places to park). Breakfast was extensive and delicious and the staff there was friendly and attentive as well. The rooms are not air conditioned, but the window opens and a fan is provided. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very clean.

Parking was a bit of a challenge. The entrance has stairs and the "hand rail" is the top edge of a glass wall. It's a little sketchy. We had my 79 year old mother in law with us and she just had surgery to repair her broken arm, so she took the stairs slowly and cautiously. A lift is provided at the entrance but it looked hard to use and sketchy as well. (even for younger people with their limbs intact). The elevator is TINY!
