Everything was exceptional and couldn't be better, we stayed for 10 days and would return there every time! The apartments are so well located you can easily walk to main attractions or take the bus, also, pick up and drop off for tours is less than 2 minutes walk (bus stop # 6), which is great when you're back from traveling all day and feel tired. Super quiet and calm place since it's in between the main streets and not on them. There's coffee and filters for the coffee machine, tea, cleaning products for the dishes, clothes and dish washer, shampoo, hair conditioner and body shower (all refillable if needed). We washed clothes twice and not having to buy a big bottle of laundry detergent for only this purpose was great. The kitchen is well equipped for real cooking, we had different cooking pan sets and were able to prepare pasta, salads, stews, hot dogs, hamburgers, eggs, pancakes and sandwiches. The fridge has space for groceries and even has a freezer. There's a Bonus and a Kronan little supermarkets nearby. We really felt at home being able to go back somewhere warm and tranquil after a long day of walking through the city or out on a tour all day. The shower and the bed were amazing!

Perfect spot for the area. The beds were very comfortable. There is a parking garage next door. Felt very safe. The shower was exceptional. Love the keyless entries.

Hard to find at first. It is behind the building in GPS. Better directions from management may help. Not much of a view. Didn't really care. The location made up for it. See pictures of front and view of apartment. We were in the first floor on left. So just a few steps up to the door. A fan would be nice in the room. A shelf system for makeup would be nice in bathroom instead of stool. Minor details. Really loved the place. Very comfortable. Recommend 100% I would book again.

August 2025

Spent the first week of August at the one bedroom Ice Apartment and was very comfortable. 12 year old grandson slept comfortably as well on a very good sofa bed in living room. Clean, modern and well equipped. Close to everything that you want to see however its proximity to the bustling Laudavegur street made it somewhat noisy till the wee hours. I would double up on pillows that need to be replaced. And of course the wonders of Iceland. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Denis from Montreal, Canada

More expensive than most places.

Good location a few minutes away from rainbow street. Easy and quick communication with staff. We arrived an hour early and when we asked to check in earlier, they allowed us to do so.

There was no way to regulate the temperature as the thermostat in the apartment was not working. Heating was working but we couldn’t adjust the heat on the panel and it ended up being often too hot. We had to open windows in a huge blizzard. A few stains on sheets- made me doubt about their cleanliness. We couldn’t turn off the lights in the bathroom, had to close the door while sleeping but since we couldn’t regulate heating, bathroom ended up being super hot in the morning.

We were able to park very close to the accommodations. This place is right where we wanted to be, even though we didn't know it. Probably 50 steps to the shops and the restaurants bars. We forgot some stuff in the apartment, and they were kind enough to grant us access to retrieve the items. We would stay here again.

Very difficult to find at first glance. I should have done more research on how at access the property. Had a hard time with the wifi, but honestly we had very little need to access it. Washing machine did not work properly and the unit needs a deep cleaning because the unit smelled of mold.

Convenient location, can walk to everything. Good size apartment. Close to Bonus grocery store so we could make our own meals. Very clean, comfy beds, Netflix was a bonus, love that there is a washer and dryer. Cute and cozy.

Outside the apartment is kind dumpy and dirty. It's kind of sketchy looking. They should clean it up because the inside is great. Regardless of the outside I would still recommend it. I just wish we had been warned because it really shocked us when we saw it for the 1st time. We were told that if the room was cleaned, we could get an early check-in. We saw the cleaning lady leave, and she told us it was clean, but when we messaged management, they said we would have to pay to check in 45 mins early. I have never heard of being charged to check in an hour early when the room is ready. We were very tired and had been up for over 18 hours by then and felt this was extremely unfair.

Easy access via door code, washer/dryer on premise, large windows with good shades, covered parking within 100m, great location.

The motion sensor in the bathroom was apparently turned off and the promised service call to check the situation did not happen. A very small sliding switch underneath the sensor was self-discovered only after using a floor lamp to light the bathroom for 2 days.

Right in the heart of Reykjavik with easy access to everything. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was large. Spacious. Lock on front door and lock on apartment door for added safety.

Brighter lights, washing machine/dryer did not work properly. It was hard to wash and dry clothes. The alleyway brought some sketchy characters. Gravel in front made wheeling luggage difficult. Also some garbage out front. Could be cleaned up.

The property was very well located. Right near the Main Street with bars and restaurants. The property also had plenty of amenities to ensure we had a comfortable stay. It was very good value for money.

There are only a matter of issues with the property but for the most part, they are completely out weighed by the positives. The negatives, you can hear the nightlife through the apartment on a weekend, the carpet on the floor is a bit rough but not necessarily uncomfortable under foot.

This is a great apartment in a prime location. Easy check-in with a door code, though there is a pre-arrival process of providing ID and card pic, which went smoothly. Tea and coffee and washing powder provided, along with Bathroom supplies. The shower itself is great, a rainfall with classic Icelandic Hot Springs water all the time! Comfortable living room, decent table, wi-fi was fine. The only comment is the bed is two singles together, which was fine but not ideal ;-)

The apartment was great all round, the only criticism might be a lack of 'Things to do in Reykjavik' info handily scattered around?
