This specific accommodation resource provider service is just perfect in every conceivable way for the independent solo tripper and possibly any fun-loving, young-at-heart easygoing small intimate group ie close knit family etc. to chill and unwind whilst in the Icelandic capital for the good central proximity to everything(the hot tub was a cheeky bonus *winkwink*)! The hubs are superbly designed & extremely cosy, clean & comfortable with the most amazing king size bed & even ample space for littlest me to stretch everyday. The Shared bathroom on the 4th floor seemed like an en suite at times and was hygienically clean as can be ie zero undesirable whiffy smells not to mention zero sticky sticky bathroom floors at this specific location of City Hub here, credit to the hardworking Cityhub Reykjavik housekeeping team(I had a preconceived notion prior to staying in the cityhub accommodation that the hubs would be claustrophobic yet as a repeat guest I can confirm & conclude that is not the case, I personally wouldn’t choose anything else)💯 Accommodation felt luxurious in many ways & very much a home from home vibe(something you rarely & seldom get in typical hotels & guest accommodation in general💯) & so I can 💯recommend(if you are fortunate to stumble upon an accommodation gem in a particular place or city why would you stay anywhere else). Takk takk & credit to the loveliest team dynamic, an asset to Reykjavik you all are!

Location is great! It is very clean, kitchen/lounge area full of serve-yourself amenities, comfortable seating, there’s even a hot tub on the third floor. Beds/pillows very comfortable, towels supplied. Rooms are surprisingly soundproof with cool lighting you can choose. Wristband key magnet super convenient. Free lockers to store your bag! Helpful managers onsite.

The capsule room are (well) small for two people with big luggage, coats in winter. Also, the rooms have heavy spring-loaded doors that slam when people go in and out. Like a mild sonic boom.

It's a great starting point for your stay in Reykjavik/Iceland, being a nice mix of hotel and hostel. You can potentially meet other traveller here, but also have space to yourself that you don't have to share. There are several bus stops and highlights of the city in walking distance. The kitchen is very neat if you want to warm up some supermarket food, check in/out ist super easy, there is a hot tub, you can easily store your luggage, it's stylish and kind of fun to stay in a hub ... great place for a couple of nights.

I would have loved to be able to control the air conditioning in the room myself (you can do an apirboost if you have the app, but that's it). Depending on when you go to the bathroom, it can be a bit crowded. If you're staying some more nights you might miss having a window.

I loved the location!! It was close to everything. The hub was really comfortable. I slept great in the bed and had more space than I thought I would. The temperature was great, and the noise was always minimal. I loved the mood lighting options!

The bathroom had some cleanliness issues. There were stalls that were out of toilet paper and multiple times that hand towels were out. I have never encountered that at any other shared bathroom lodging, and I have stayed in many all over the world. The staff didn't seem very helpful either and a little bit snooty.

The location was ideal for exploring Reykjavik—right in the heart of the tourist area, close to shopping, Rainbow Street, restaurants, and more. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and there was someone on-site to assist with any questions. The rooms were clean and easy to access. While there’s no designated parking, we were able to find street parking just two blocks away. They had a convenient vending machine stocked with essentials like face wipes, flip-flops, and other items you might have forgotten. The lobby was spacious and comfortable—great for hanging out—with a refrigerator available for storing food and a self-serve bar linked to your wristband for easy access. We’d definitely consider staying here again

The showers often had hair left on the walls or in the drains—not sure if it's due to limited cleaning or just inconsiderate guests. That said, we never had an issue accessing a shower or WC; they were always available when needed. The pods are generally quite soundproof, except for early Sunday morning around 4 a.m., when we were all woken up by repeated door slamming. It was hard to tell if it was other guests going into their rooms or using the bathrooms. Our group had three separate pods, and we all heard it—it lasted about 15 minutes. Not the hotel’s fault, but definitely an annoyance.

Absolutely amazing! Everything that I need and even more than I could have wished for. The rooms are very comfortable and towels and soap are provided, there's a common room that you can go at anytime to have a drink, eat your food or just chill on a loungey atmosphere. The staff is really friendly and will be happy to advice you on what to see and how to get around the city. I completely discovered the chain City hub at Reykjavik and think there should more places with the same concept around the world. Really I have nothing negative to say: it is calm, the system is clever and everything is thought for you to enjoy your stay!

Great facilities - shared bathrooms clean, common areas tidy, and the hot tub looked nice but it was raining so gave it a miss - I did see people cleaning it every day though! Kitchenette was helpful with a shared fridge. Room was just big enough for me and the top floor had great views! (Also if the pod is cold you can ask for a heater!). The app really only does the lighting and a Bluetooth speaker, but if you need anything you can chat direct to someone who works there any time of the day or night (it’s not AI like I had assumed). I really enjoyed the bracelet to access the pods and to buy things from the bar/kitchen common area. Also I found the pods to be completely soundproof - I opted for a top bunk, and even though I was right next to the bathrooms I never even heard a door slam!

Honestly the bedding could have been a little cleaner which was surprising - there were a few hairs and a makeup stain? I travel with my own sheet because I’ve stayed in some questionable places so not a problem this time around. I imagine they would change the sheets for you if you asked, and my experience doesn’t necessarily reflect all of the other pods.

Everything was perfect at this accommodation. Let's start with the staff, who are super friendly and attentive. First, Ren, who is a very lovely girl who is always there to help with anything you need. I also appreciate the treatment from Sussette and Isabella, as well as the super friendly girl from Croatia and the guys on night shift. This is the most valuable thing about this hotel, all its employees. It is also very central and close to everything. It has a Jacuzzi on the third floor, and of course the beds are super comfortable and they use Ritual products for their clients. I loved it. I would definitely go back.

I had an emergency and had to extend my stay. And the last night was very expensive. So I recommend taking all the days you are going to need from the beginning.

The staff were so friendly. It was spotless, new, and great value for money. I will absolutely stay here again. Loved it.

It was perfect for me, but it would be a bit claustrophobic for two people sharing a pod. The bed is certainly big enough but the rest of the pod would mean only one person could use it at a time. A couple of times some of the other guests were walking through the area talking quite loudly. I'd like to suggest the hosts put up a sign requesting quiet once you reach the sleeping areas.

Excellent location, very close to bus stop 6 and convinient to travel to other places in the city. Breakfast was good, fascilities were clean and fine. They also provided shared fridge, chopping board and toaster. The small room was actually enough for tourists, the bed was so good to sleep on, charging socket was at a right place. The service was excellent, staffs there were so nice to everyone. Anyway it is a really good place at this price in Reykjavik at a great location, it definately exceeded my expectation to this hotel.
