* Late check-in was possible thanks to the self check-in feature, which was perfect since our flight arrived at midnight. * The apartment was clean & conveniently located near the city center. * Communication was smooth, with fast replies via the Booking.com messaging system. * It was also close to shops, grocery stores & bus stops. * The host was considerate & responsive to our requests.

It would be great if luggage storage were available, allowing guests to explore the city both before check-in and after check-out.

Good location e.g. 6min walk to bus stop 6, and 8min walk to city centre. Good size fridge, provides kettle, microwave, cultery, plates and bowls. Very convenient keypad system for quick entry, no need to carry a key/card and worry about losing it. Very warm despite slight gap in window. Accomodated early check in, quick staff response by IM.

Very cramped, even for 1 person, no desk for using laptop or eating. Large windows looking out to street so had to keep blinds closed at all times. Very small sink that fills up in 5 seconds before water warms up No cleaning service. Would be good to include instructions on where to take out the bin, and provide extra bin liners.

I had the key code more than 24 hrs before check in. It was good to know that we wouldn't have any issues getting in. The location was wonderful- very central to the city and easily walkable to many shops and restaurants. The apartment was comfy and was a decent size for a family of 4.

While I totally understand it wasn't in anyone's control, it appeared the main hallway had recently had a water flood as there were dryers and dehumidifiers everywhere. The only aspect of that I didn't love was that the main doors were propped open to accommodate the equipment so it felt a little less secure. Our apartment itself was very secure though.

We stayed in the small room 14m2. It was a self checkin acces with codes so you don't meet a receptionist but they are avaliable with whatsapp. For the price it's a great deal! The room and bathroom is really small, but you have everything you need. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen equipment and bathroom was clean. The location is great, 10 min walk to Harpa. It's just a street away from downtown. Parking options nearby. If you need just to sleep somewhere, Island apartments are great choice :)

There is a kitchen in ground floor (apartments are in second). The kitchen smell was also in the hallway and a bit in the room. But it was ok, we opened the window. Just the first impression wasn't super nice.

If you are alone, the room is just right, warm and comfortable. The kitchenette also has some tableware available, which is very convenient.

1.There are many slopes on Reykjavik roads, so it will be difficult if you have a lot of luggage. 2.On the first night, the water was too hot to take a shower. 3.The TV couldn't be turned on either. Although the next day,a maintenance staff came and judged that it was out of power. However, all accommodation issues can only be addressed through messaging. It's inconvient that no one can handle guests' problems quicly, there is room for improvement.

Great location, close to restaurants, shops, public transportation. Apartment is very comfortable and well equipped.

Was not so much of an issue but good for others to know that the apartment can be warm and if you open the window, there could be noise on the street.

The location is absolutely fantastic. It is so close to walking to all the major sites. 2 fantastic Indian restaurants right by. 1 block away from Braud & Co. for the best pastries and sit down area to have them. Large bathroom with a nice towel warmer. There was a microwave, fridge, hot water kettle and all utensils. Small electric hot plate also.

Parking is in zone P1. There is no real place to stop and unload your luggage in front of the door. You have to drive around a bit to find P2 and P3 parking and in the evening it was hard to find. The room is a little on the smaller side for a family of 4. So if you have big bags, it might be a challenge to open all of them fully.

1) visible cracks in the windows; 2) a creaky sofa. 3) no hooks for towels in the bathroom During a strong wind outside, it was cold in the house near the window and gusts of wind were felt. Any, even slight, movement on the sofa caused a creaking sound

Great location, right next to the pedestrian street with lots of cafes and pubs. The room itself is small and gets tight if you extend the couch, but it was enough. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, microwave and some basics for cooking. We didn't meet our hosts, but they were very responsive. We enjoyed our stay here.

We would hit ourselves in the TV (because it was tight to pass) and I personally don't think it's necessary to have a TV at all.

Staff were very helpful and even came over early to take our bags before check in so we could explore the city. Facilities were clean, comfortable and overall really good. Location could not be better with less than a minute walk to the main street and 2 minutes from the sea front. Everything was within walking distance whether that be restaurants, tour pickups or sight seeing spots. Very pleasantly surprised by the room and would definitely recommend.

The only issue for me was I couldn't figure out how to turn the heating down in the room. This probably wouldn't be an issue for most people but I like the room cold and to be honest I didn't really look all that extensively. So overall extremely minor issue and was overall a very positive experience.
