Location was fantastic for exploring the downtown with many dining options. Very roomy and comfortable apartment. It’s a studio but partial walls gave decent privacy and separation for downtime. Beds were comfortable, able to regulate temperature with windows. Staff communications were over email and messages, and very clear. I would recommend for families who don’t need the very posh experience but appreciate a little more room and prioritize the location. I would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Deay Dream. One of the best things about it is its location, everything is within walking distance. The nearest Bus stop for pick up/drop off is a 4-minute walk. The room and the bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable. The shared kitchen is well-equipped. There is a storeroom to leave your luggage, which is very useful. Although we didn’t meet the staff, they always replied our e-mails and were always ready to help. Thank you!

The only thing we found a bit difficult to handle is the room door. It works with a digital code, which is handy because you don’t need to keep the key, but every time you want to enter the room you have to use the digital code. It’ s especially annoying when you have to go back to your room after using the bathroom in the middle of the night. :)

The location was fantastic. Check in was easy and there is a place to store your luggage if needed - all with lock boxes and keys to enter. The entrance to the rooms is a keypad which is great and meant there was no need to key cards! Good size room and really updated, once in the room don’t take the entrance at face value as it is nicer inside the rooms and I enjoyed my stay. Fresh towels were provided on arrival. There is a Nespresso machine but there were no pods, however when I messaged the staff they advised where to get some. There is a small fridge, kettle and cups in the room for use and a TV that only connects to Netflix but we had no remote to log in.

The bathrooms just need a really good scrub (shower) or bleaching to get the black mould off but again the bathroom sink, toilet and floors were clean. The shower head holder needs fixing as the shower head drops down but once it was in a set position to not move it was fine and the water temperature was really good.

The room was as expected and comfortable. It was appreciated to have cups, spoons and coffee provided. The space was small but had basic amenities (luggage storage, hooks, shelving, stools/chair) to keep our family of 4 comfortable for our short stay.

The kettle was dirty on the bottom inside, the sink had black mold spots, the shower was hard to contain the water and no extra towel was provided. The bathmat was inadequate to manage the water on the floor.

The stay exceeeded my expactations. Very good lokalization, short walking distance to the center, bus stop etc. Spacious, cozy and clean room with a very comfy bed and big wordrobe. Although a bathroom Was shared I didn't find it as an inconvienience as there were 2 bathrooms with shower and a toilet on my floor. I didn't use cooking facilities but there were many if someone fancies to prepare a meal at home. The only thing which I would change is the way how to open a luggage storage. The box didn't want to open after setting a code. I had to pry the box with a flat object to open it.

As I was travelling alone and was spending most days out on amazing tours, I was looking for a budget friendly, comfortable and quiet place to sleep each night, and that’s exactly what I found. The room is ample size and has a mini fridge and coffee station. The shower provided constant hot water (which is exactly what you want after a day out in the cold!), the bedding was comfortable and warm and the heating in the room was perfect for the climate! Communication from the staff was clear and friendly. It’s only a short walk to town where there is ample cafes, restaurants, shops and bars. Reykjavik town is beautiful to wonder around in, especially with all the Christmas lights, and it’s only a 5 minute walk before you’re amongst it all! Also very close to Bus Stop 4. This is where you can get dropped off / picked up for airport transfers and all tours. (Buses can’t drive into the heart of Reykjavik so it’s very convenient to be close to one of the main bus stops if you’re intending to do tours etc.)

The accommodation met my needs perfectly.

We were moved to the Day Dream Lokastigur 23 after booking, so this review is for that location. We were comfortable in the room. The queen bed was made up of two twin mattresses, which actually made it quite comfortable as two people sharing a bed. The room and bathroom were both a good size with a small balcony. The room was clean, and the location was excellent. We were right in the downtown area and just had to step outside for food, drinks, and shopping. There was also a bus stop right across the street at the church, which most tour busses picked up from. Although there was no staff on-site, we were given clear instructions for check-in and check-out and had no problems. Any time we reached out to the staff through messaging or phone call, the people we spoke with were timely, courteous, and helpful.

The walls were thin, so if you sleep lightly be prepared to hear hotel doors closing and sounds from your neighbors' rooms. A small thing about the room was that the TV was placed in an area that couldn't be viewed from the bed.

Lovely little spot close to the center of Reykjavik. If you're looking for a solid place to stay then you won't be disappointed. Super clean room with a nice closet area, comfy and warm bed, a nice window view down to the street, coffee / tea maker, TV, and a great bathroom. This might have been the first hotel I've stayed in in Iceland where the bathroom water didn't smell like sulfur. Kudos. They send instructions in advance on how to access the hotel and your room - there are codes for both, which was nice to not keep track of a key. Thanks for the great stay!

Nothing. Everything was great!

The location was fantastic! It was a really great spot for our 3 night stay to see Reykjavik and enjoy the pride festival activities. Only 1min away from a delicious breakfast spot (Deig) and less than 10min walk to the core pedestrian walking streets. We didn't like one of the pillows we were given, but we messaged the host and were told where we could grab a different better pillow, so the issue was resolved right away. The host also gave us really great info in advance for free street parking and we were able to park the car for the whole weekend just a couple blocks away. Room (#24) was comfortable, had a mini fridge, small kettle, 4 cups, 2 chairs, hair dryer and a big window ledge where you could put your things on.

Wish the bathroom had ventilation, but I imagine this is not an easily fixable issue. When we left the bathroom window open, we could at times smell some cigarette smoke from outside (however we could not smell this in the bedroom itself which was good)

great location , easy walk to everything we needed, restaurants and shopping easy walking distance as well, parking was easy enough in front or behind the building , paying for parking was easily done through an app Amazing response time, and great customer service

we had a slight issue with the shower, one quick phone call and the repair guy was there in 5 minutes and sorted it out without question, and the rest of the stay was smooth and easy , very happy
