Location is good. Close to restaurants, bars & etc.

Owner should put microwave in every room, the same cheap one I found on the 4 floor on the third day. Also owner cam bring additional hangers - I had only one which looks like it was there since independence day. I asked the cleaning lady to bring couple of them with no result. I did not see or noticed any body at least swiping floor in 8 days. I did not noticed bed sheets changed at least once. May be locals change it very rear, but any place I was before it did happened at least 2- 3 days. Disappointed. It is great country and pour hospitality.

It was a very nice room to come back to after a day of exploring on cold winter days. Perfect for lone travelers or couples. Good location in central Reykjavik for a decent price. Room was very comfortable and clean with plenty of bedding provided, en suite bathroom also spotless with lots of towels included. Nice big shower, no problems with hot water. Really no issues with the room at all. Electronic access on the door was a bit confusing but I was able to phone the owner and got it sorted right away.

Windows could use a clean if I'm being a bit picky. Facilities were as advertised but it would've been nice to maybe have some cutlery and a microwave in the room as well. Really nothing to complain about other than that.

Loved the location and how close it was to the centre. It was peaceful throughout the night depending on the other guests and to top it off, the room had a comfy bed. Had a great night's sleep every night without fail! Close to the tour bus stop location and airport pickup. Room was lovely and warm on arrival and every day after we'd been out. The fridge was a great touch so we could put food and drinks in there if needed.

The bathroom could do with an update. There were no spoons to stir coffee/tea but 2 coffee pods provided for a 4 night stay. Would have liked more along with sugar, tea and milk as a minimum, however we took our own as you never know but struggled to stir in our sugar as no spoons. They provide kitchen roll, a sponge and a cloth, but unsure why? Would have liked a small TV but not a necessity. Would have liked a little recommendation list of places to eat and visit as we have previously found this helpful when attending other hotels/apartments.

The location is perfect, very close to the harbour and a stroll from the city centre. The room is modern, and the bed is quite comfortable. We would use this place again, just because of the location.

They have scraped on basic expenses . There is only one chair in the bedroom, which is for two people. The shower room is dimly lit, but there is no mirror in the bedroom itself, so you end up guessing how you look. There is no loo roll hanger, and that would be useful in a small place. The room is described as an apartment, which means no cleaning or changing of bedding and towels is offered during your stay. If you ask, you get clean towels or sheets, which, obviously, you have to change yourself.. I asked for a broom, but didn't get one.

The accommodation is unbelievably well located in the city, only a few minutes away from the port (if you want to take the boat tours, see The Maritime museum and there are also plenty of bars and restaurants there) and also from the centre of the city. Also, it is slightly more acceptable concerning the price. Another thing that is a big plus is that you have your own bathroom. The room is spacious and very light (which is a plus for me).

The only thing I would point out is that the place could be slightly cleaner, meaning better vacuumed floor, but overall nothing too concerning. Also, one morning we were woken up by the fire alarm at around 7am, which is not a way you want to be woken up while on vacation, but it was a false alarm and the problem was solved in around 20minutes.

This is really a hostel. My room was on the top floor, with a small window, but a reasonably good view. Apart from the bed and a wardrobe, the room had a two chairs and a coffeetable. The rooms share bathrooms/showers. On my floor there were 4 units and 2 bathrooms/showers (maybe 3?), so no shortage. There was a shared "kitchen" with a spacious seating area. The kitchen featured a cupboard with some cups/glasses/plates/silverware, a fridge and a kettle, but no stove for example. The place to wash dishes and get water for the kettle was in the corridor. I liked it that the kitchen cupboard had drawers designated for the tenants of the rooms on the floor plus a drawer for free food, where people could leave what they didn't consume. There was no cleaning in my room or change of towels during my stay of 5 nights.

I didn't like it that the kitchen sink area was not tidied once during my stay. Some guests had not washed their dishes, put them back in the kitchen cupboard, so those clogged the sink area. Also there was really too little space to leave dishes to dry.

Location is great, room was spacious. Upon check in we realised there was a technical issue with the room that would have resulted in a negative experience. However, when we raised the matter to the host they immediately moved us and turned this to the best experience. What is more, before the flight we realised we had forgotten a watch worth several thousands, which they recovered and shipped back to the UK (received in 2 business days!). 10/10 for taking care great of us and handling crises - thank you

The technical issue that occurred, but that was dealt with on first contact.

I stayed in room 40. The room had two single beds that were put together. There were also two armchairs in the room. Above the rooftops there was a view over the harbor and over to some mountains. The room is centrally located in Reykjavik with a short distance to the harbor, shops and restaurants. It was easy to find the room and self-checkin worked fine.

The room is on the top floor, but there is no elevator. It is difficult to close the doors to the rooms from the outside without having to slam the doors.

The perfect location and base for exploring the city! Beautiful view of the harbour, outstanding views from the room. We are so glad we booked it was a couple of minutes walk to where the whale watching boat cruises leave in the harbour. Also it is walking distance to a bonus store - a cheap supermarket, we stocked up on our supplies and drinks there. On that note in the kitchen you can also leave behind any excess supplies in a drawer for other travellers to use up so no wastage. Back to the room, a very comfortable bed we were in the harbour room (top floor) No road noise and a beautiful view of the mountains and harbour so much so we didn’t want to close the curtains at night! 3 toilets were always available to use despite being shared and cleaned and well stocked with things such as toilet paper. Icelandic tap water is also the cleanest and the purest you will find! Easy to access the apartments, tricky to find at first on the high street, but it’s easy to get in and nice and secure too. Very warm, very comfortable. Would I come back again. Yes 🙌🏻 The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the city and the boat trips we went with Elding cruises and we saw the northern lights and some humpback whales in February! Our first stay in Iceland and we miss it so much already. Thank you to the owners for lending out this apartment to me and my brother it was perfect for our needs. Clean, warm and very comfortable.

Fantastic facilities, it’s a shame that others using the shared kitchen facilities did not clean up after themselves as it meant some plates and cups were not able to be used. We were not there to wash up after strangers. Microwave was a little grubby also but not the fault of the owner at all. Well equipped, overall a lovely place.

The hotel is located not far away from the central touristic/shopping streets. Our room was literally an apartment room with our own kitchen and we could cook ourselves. There was a good heating system so we could control the temperature inside the apartments. Quite affordable price for the space and features compared to prices in other hotels in Reykjavik :)

There was mold in the shower and some dirty bed sheets in the corner of our bedroom area. There weren't forks. Not a big problem but some food is quite difficult to eat by a spoon.
