We stayed in apartment 404. Your first impression is how warm and cosy the apartment was as you opened the door. When we opened the inside door, our eyes were drawn immediately to the view from the sitting room window. Wow, fantastic view of the harbour. The balcony was excellent as it gave you shelter from the wind and snow as you could then sit out and take in the view.The kitchen was well equipped, and in the bathroom was a large shower area and a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedroom was large with plenty of storage and a very comfy bed. There was nothing to dislike at all. Fantastic apartment. All extras had been provided so we did not need to buy dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid ,liquid soap or detergent for the washing machine to wash our clothes. There was even shampoo and conditioner and a hairdryer available if you had not brought your own. The tap water is safe to drink and is cold and tasty. I usually drink sparkling flavoured water at home but couldn't believe how lovely the tap water was in Iceland . Fantastic apartment which was close to everything while providing you with a beautiful outlook. If you go to the left of the apartments you will find 2 supermarkets - bonus and kronan. Both excellent. You will also find Elko which will help you with any electronic needs you have. There is also flyover Iceland, whales of Iceland and many more areas of interest and things to do. If you go right from the apartments you find yourself in the busy shops etc of Reykjavik within 5 minutes walk. Excellent position for the apartments. The manager, Dilja, was a fantastic help and available throughout our holiday. We were given directions to the Elko store when we were looking for a new phone cable. Any time I texted through WhatsApp I received an answer within minutes. First class customer service. Could not have had as stress free a time without the help of Dilja.

I liked everything. There was nothing to dislike

There were dirty stained comforters in the closets. Counters had crumbs...

The apartment was a very good and comfortable size for us (a young family) and comes with a great view of the old harbour. The kitchen came with the necessary cooking equipment and utensils. The area has some good restaurants and is about 20-25min walk to downtown Reykjavik. Private parking in the basement is available, but potentially a bit of a squeeze, especially if you have a big vehicle.

If you're not used to parking in tight spots and/or come with a larger rental vehicle it could be a bit tricky. Our spot was located underneath the stairwell (the most awkward spot) so spatially constrained as the stairs ate into the space at the front. (other spots are available depending on room number so maybe we pulled the short straw). There was a bit of noise, the road is quite busy and some of the neighbors were playing loud music in the evenings (not ideal when sending young kids to bed), but maybe this was exaggerated as we had arrived from a couple of days of peace and quiet in rural Iceland. Some complimentary cooking oil would have been appreciated as it seems an unnecessary cost for just a few days stay.

Fantastic harbour view! Location is really nice: very close to many good restaurants and quite close to main shopping streets. Very well equipped kitchen and also laundry machine is a plus. I think the value for money is superb! Enough space for family with two kids.

The soundproofing of the apartment was quite bad. Some of the neighbours play music so loud in the evenings that I needed to wear earplugs to be able to sleep. Also being near the harbour and the balcony locating towards a busy street, there can be some background noise as well.

Absolutely loved this apartment ..location is perfect with the added bonus of parking.. host also replies quickly with any queries.

The pillows on the bed ..you had one white pillow (which were fine)and a pillow in a quilted covering which I am not convinced were fresh coverings as they had stains and didn't smell fresh.. we just didn't use them.though and would not deture us from staying again...

The location was excellent and felt really safe. The view was lovely, right overlooking the harbour so great for people watching or just sitting there watching the snowfall. It was a lovely warm apartment and a good size. All of the facilities we could have needed were there too so was great to cut down on costs and cook from the apartment for a few meals.

The drains smell really bad in the bathroom and the sofa bed was uncomfortable although that’s to be expected with it not being a proper bed. It could have done with some more comfortable seating in the living area and maybe the bathroom updating but that’s me just being picky!

Location, the size of the apartment and the view are amazing. Also there're many outlets, enough for a group of several people to change all the devices and cameras.

The parking is in the garage under the house and the keys to the garage are in the room. So you have to either block the only entrance to the yard/garage with your car or park it some place else (which can be tricky to do close by as it's a city center) while you go upstairs and pick up the keys to the garage door.

Great location and facilities - we were able to watch the festival fireworks from the balcony which was a spectacular end to our visit

Only issue was opening the front door - it obviously requires a local touch. We spent 10-minutes each time we came back to the flat trying to get in, not a big issue but we were worried about the key snapping off and being stuck outside !

Excellent Apartment, great food hall down in the Harbour area, different street food so something for everyone, another great restaurant within 5 mins walk too was LAMB.

Spacious, modern apartment, fully equipped near Reykjavik harbour and city center. With free parking space in garage. Nice view on the harbour and even a small terrace. We were there just 2 nights but could easily have stayed longer. We liked it very much.

No big complaints. The bath room is a bit less attractive compared to the rest of the apartment. There is like a kitchen block in the bath room which leaves little room to sit on the toilet. Nothing to complain about really. We did have a very noisy neighbour on our last night that had music/TV on so hard we could almost hear what was spoken (if we would speak Icelandic). I think it lasted till about midnight. Since we had to get up early it was annoying. Finally, there is a TV, with Netflix, but it responds soooo slow. With every press of a button it has to think for a while. Maybe the memory needs to be cleared or something. But then I'm nitpicking.
