Very convenient location. Near Mumbai airport. Easily accessible from LTT Station. High quality hospitality.

Booking.com app informed me two hours before my check in that my card was invalid and funds in my a/c insufficient and so the booking payment failed. They warned me to update my card details within 2 hours or they will cancel my reservation of the room. I updated my card immediately. But Booking.com cancelled my booking within half an hour causing me much mental stress. Yet when I reached Ginger hotel they accepted my payment graciously using the very same card and made my stay pleasant. Thank you Ginger hotel.

We stayed here twice recently and both time really impressed with the staff, first time requested if they would let us check in early as our flight had arrived early and they were able to get us a room by 12:00. Second time, I requested if they could change queen to twin beds and they were able to do that too. Only complaint is which is a complaint for booking.com that there's no option to select number of days needed for breakfast buffet, so we booked for two nights but since we had to leave in the middle of the night, didn't need 2nd day buffet but no way to get refund for that and no option to select a single night. Otherwise stay was great and location super close to the airport. Transportation charges are cheapest you can find in a hotel and of course can't beat Uber but if you need a quick pick up and drop off in the middle of the night, it's safer to use the hotel transportation.

- Small bathrooms but clean. - Mattress was not very comfortable. - No porters available but at least you save the tips...lol - Buffet area was very crowded. We were asked to share table with another person which was very uncomfortable for us all. Decent choices in the buffet and food was okay

I have stayed atleast 5 times in this property in the last 3 months. I find it the most convenient, very well maintained property and rooms, very safe, excellent team managing the property, from the security to the front desk to the house keeping, maintenance...very courteous and efficient. I also want to share a recent experience. During my previous stay in the month of April I left some important papers in the room while checking out. Normally these wouldve got dumped in the garbage while cleaning. But the team was sensitive to understand and they kept these papers safe and when I checked in this time, the front desk team handedover the documents even before I could ask for it. It was always tough to find good hotels in Mumbai. You had these expensive 5 star properties or local ones which are low on hygiene and comfort. Ginger, particularly the Mumbai Airport property meets all requirements.

· Extremely clean and well maintained rooms, bathrooms and linen . Restaurant had varied options for breakfast and dinner buffet was very well priced and full of options . Staff is extremely polite and courteous at the restaurant , especially the young lady who oversees the dinner buffet. we noticed a few mosquitos in the corridors of hotel and called housekeeping, within 5 minutes, they sent a mosquito repellant plug in . It was a small but very considerate gesture. the toiletries are replaced everyday. Elevators are fast , despite the massive number of people staying there you will never have to wait in a que at any counter. it was total value for money. we checked out and kept luggage with hotel concierge. the proximity to airport is an added advantage . Uber pick up at hotel doorstep. Food delivery options also available

Breakfast and Dinner Buffet was very good.

We were stood at the reception waiting to get checked in, which took more than 30 mins. There was some confusion with the rooms and a new room had to be assigned which needed cleaning and preparing for us, which caused a long delay and as we were quite tired already, it felt longer than it probably was. Also, we would have liked the staff to explain more clearly, but other than that, there were no complaints whatsoever. Our stay was very good and we enjoyed staying in Ginger. I would happily recommend it to my non-Indian visitors

It is almost always nice to stay in a new hotel, the surfaces are clean and furniture not much used. The room is very nice, nice colours, orange, red etc. The wall painting of Gateway of India is fun. I particularly liked the sofa and the cushions - 10 points for that. Also the moveable little table is practical. Good bed. Breakfast was very good, nice chai. Restaurant food good.

The luggage place in the room is too small, my large suitcase didn't fit in there when opened. Also the bathroom door should be a sliding one to save space. Now to get inside the toilet is difficult. The room was clean except the floor drain in the toilet was not cleaned. Why is there no full mirror? There is now two separate mirrors above each other - in that place easily can have full mirror. The rubber band looking complicated thing on the wall is for what? Just plain shelves would be better.

Breakfast is very good, the evening restaurant is AMAZING too bad I realized it on my last day in the hotel. Beds are comfortable enough. What makes the difference for me is the superb gym and the equipment with lot of room so that more than 3-4 people can be working out together. Staff is very very very friendly and polite, more than helpful in many ways.

Bathroom is a bit tight, and by tight I mean really really small. Not that much of an issue for a business hotel and the price paid. Overall cleanliness of the rooms can be improved a bit, some dust and strange drops & stains here and there nobody bothers to remove.

They need to be cautious when letting people enter the hotel and go up the elevator without checking their ID… they handed over a key card to my friends without asking for theirs ID and without checking with me if I was expecting guests. The issue was addressed to the front office manager. Also the elevator fell a couple of floors… I informed the staff but they had not blocked the entry to that particular elevator for 45 minutes until I raised the issue again.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and polite. Value for money is super amazing honestly. The food is good specially the menu not the buffet and the prices are are fair like very fare compared to other hotels as i stayed in 2 other 4 star and 5 star hotels in Mumbai.

The bathroom is tight so only if the bathroom door was sliding or folding it would be much better so one doesnt have to squeeze themselves between the door and shower door to get to the toilet. Thats all as the water pressure is nice and hot and cold water always there. Also, add shower gel to the set as they only provide shampoo and conditioner. Everything else is fine.
