Breakfast had a good selection. The dinner was really good - I wasn't expecting it to be, since I've had not too good of an experience with other in-hotel restaurants in the past. I have to mention that I was really happy with the service provided by the hotel staff, especially Sarah (from reservations), Nathan (hotel staff/porter), Saoirse (our server at the Strawberry restaurant) and a huge thank you to Anthony (the manager). These folks made our stay really enjoyable. There were a couple of issues initially which I brought up to Anthony and he was very proactive in getting them resolved (thank you to Nathan as well here). Oh and did I mention that the hotel offers free charging for EVs - that's amazing!

The room was ok, the toilet and bathroom in general, need a good refurb. I did bring it up to the hotel staff and they were kind enough to acknowledge it. Another thing that I didn't quite like is the fact that people/customers parked their non-EVs in the EV parking slots because of which we couldn't charge our car - but that's not the hotel's fault, it's the civic sense that some people lack

It offered a range of things to do. It definitely is family friendly especially for those with younger children. It was easily accessible and within walking distance to the center of Killarney. There was a grocery store across the street. Short drives to various attractions-golf-Gap of Dunloe just to name a couple. The restaurant and bar were great. We booked a 2 bedroom family suite and it was very comfortable. Staff was fantastic, personable and helped with anything we needed. Area was quiet at night too.

Can’t say I disliked anything. It is a very large hotel and if someone has an issue with walking longer distances to get to their room that would be the only thing I can think of but I’m sure if you let them know they could easily accommodate your needs

The hotel is very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly throughout. Our room was a suite and had a very well laid out kitchen area and a living area, the room was very impressive for the price, clean and comfortable and both TV's fully equipped with Netflix and Disney. The swimming pool has a toddler section fenced off which we found very convenient and meant a relaxing stay in the pool. The breakfast was very tasty, a great selection of hot and cold items, good quality tasty sausages (always my benchmark for a good breakfast!). Overall the hotel is great value for money compared to others in Killarney.

The hotel seems to be attached to an IPAS centre (or similar) and so on arriving there were lots of people hanging around the carpark, and so our first impression was poor. As the hotel is quite large and only spread over 2 floors, there is a long walk from reception to the far end of the hotel (where our room was), with kids and inevitable forgetting of various items and having to return to our room, this was a bit of a pain.

Really lovely staff in the bar each night. We had a fabulous guy with blonde hair, super friendly and couldn't do enough for us and a lovely lady the night before. Everyone was so welcoming. Club vitae was great, plenty of space to get ready for the pool and the staff were so lovely, especially the guy on reception that gave us our hats. Reception area really welcoming and warm.

The rooms were very drab and need a bit of updating. We asked for a travel cot and it was underneath the window by the bed. No room to move it elsewhere and we needed the window open as there was no air con. Fan was provided however and greatly appreciated. Other than that, all was fine.

From the moment we checked in we felt very welcome. Assistance was offered to take our bags upstairs. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We used both the gym and pool before dinner and the staff at both facilities were very friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely, food was well presented, tasty and good portions. A lovely staff member kept the kids entertained with magic light tricks. Kids loved kids club and went twice - not enough according to them. My daughter left her jumper behind when we checked out of kids club and had left the hotel. We returned to pick it up, it was waiting at reception and we had been contacted about ot. All in all a great stop in our two week trip around Ireland.

Coming from Australia we found it odd we had to wear swimming caps in the pool.

Left a brand new pair of shorts €55 worth on the bed when leaving and rang the hotel reception on way home and receptionist said she’d check from cleaning staff and would call me back which she didn’t so I called again and to be told they didn’t show up and if they did she would call back again never heard back so rang a few days later again and told same thing I’m surprised they weren’t handed up so it’s bad reflection on cleaning staff to not be trusted as to what they do with lost items

The hotel itself was also very clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. The spread was extensive, with a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The pancakes were super cool, and my son was delighted - a nice option for kids to encourage them to eat breakfast! The personnel were also very nice and helpful. Another great aspect of the hotel was the ample parking space. We had no problem finding a spot to leave our car, which was a huge relief. Overall, my stay at [Hotel Name] was exceptional. The combination of a clean and comfortable room, a delicious breakfast with kid-friendly options, nice personnel, and ample parking made for a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families, looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The child friendly atmosphere was just amazing Loads of activities to choose from

A couple of small things, ordered breakfast to the room for the morning of our departure (today) for between 9.30 and 10.30 as we had to be out of the room.by 11 and at 10.40 it still hadnt arrived I had to ask one of the cleaners in neighbouring room to ring the restaurant as the phone in our room wasn't working and the food came moments later , instead of fried eggs it was scrambled eggs I felt maybe as it was so late arriving we may have gotten what was left rather than what we ordered and as we were leaving literally in minutes there was no point in mentioning it, as we had to scoff the food before departure time 11am. It put a small bit of taint on the lovely stay we had, but definitely wouldn't put us off going again as the overall experience was fabulous

Myself and my family have a vegan diet and this was accommodated for perfectly by the kitchen and we were more than happy with every meal at the hotel. There was a girl (Katerina) serving in the restaurant who was so pleasant,polite and professional at all times that made us feel comfortable at all meal times.The soft play center was great for our son and the 2 different levels for the childrens pool was a great idea also. Activities for children make it a great hotel to visit for families and we have already recommended it to family and friends.

The only thing that disappointed me was the size of the bath towels. After the first day, I asked a member of housekeeping staff if they had a bigger bath towel which i was given but could not get another one on other days after several attempts until I asked a member of management.

A great family hotel. Everything was there and no need to leave the building . Staff were so lovely and hotel was so clean . Well done to everyone . Relaxed ambience for young families.

Bedrooms were too hot! I had to leave window open the 2 nd day. We were too hot. Breakfast… it would be nice if coffee was served to the table. Busy parents would take the pressure off. Kids had pancakes. Unfortunately, cheap chocolate syrup is supplied . It be better to have Nutella sachets instead of yucky syrup We missed the animal roadshow as we thought it was in the playroom , maybe staff at reception could make that clear for families.
