Breakfast was wonderful, over all we had a exceptionally great experience. We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday with 75 of her family, Joan and her team looked after everything so perfectly, we could not find fault with food or accommodation, Also a group of us ate in the restaurant the night before and can not talk highly enough of how good the staff and food was especially Afrin our waiter. I would recommend this friendly and well run hotel to anyone, again I cannot stress enough from reception to house keeping and waiting staff we were so happy 😊

I had an amazing stay at Killarney Heights Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering great recommendations for places to visit in Killarney. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The kitchen staff were also fantastic—so attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and came with a mini fridge, which was really convenient. Plus, having 24-hour security gave us extra peace of mind. Overall, this hotel was top-notch—a perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Killarney!

Room a bit too warm. The prices on the Specials menu brought to my table in the restaurant didn't match those on the board on the wall. I ended up paying a couple of euro more for what I chose from the table menu version Breakfast was a bit low in stock, eg the smoothies were gone very early, and they weren't offering to make any more. My grandson had been really looking forward to this and he was disappointed

Cosy room on first night. Nice meal in the restaurant with plenty of vegetables (seemingly a rarity in hotels and restaurants unless you look really hard).

Booked a second night but had to change room; spacious and well appointed but no heating in room or bathroom (towel rack). Staff unable or unwilling to fix problem but did provide a portable heater. Thought about booking a third night but clerk would not match booking service on-line rates and wanted 30 to 40 Euros more. We moved elsewhere.

The setting of the hotel being a tad out-of-town made it extra peaceful and gave it a beautiful country feel. Our room was fantastic as it was called the “Castle Suite” and was exceptionally large with a living room and even a little dinette area. A fireplace as well.

We only stayed for one night (a Saturday night) and we were told by the front desk that there would be musical entertainment in the bar, but there was not.

I liked the conservatory. It was so bright and pretty. The atmosphere was so relaxing. The food choice was tasty. The seats were comfortable. The colour scheme is so warm and cosy. I found the dining room very clean and the staff were excellent at their jobs. Once a table was empty the staff gracefully and quickly cleared it. We were able to take our food outside in the sun. The patio area was so nice to sit at. Even though the hotel asked for you to pay for your food before you bring it outside I could totally understand the reasoning for this.

The breakfast could have been hotter but it was tasty. The seats were comfortable. One table was wobbly and it was a bit annoying but thats a little thing. The eggs were over cooked but I enjoy them that way my husband prefers them over easy. I asked the staff member could I have fresh eggs cooked and that was no problem. Overall the food was very good.

I’ve stayed at Killarney Heights Hotel a few times and always enjoy it. On this visit, I appreciated being able to check in early. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel looks beautiful at night and is easy to find. The facilities are good, and the breakfast is always delicious.

The only downside was some mixed messages from staff. One said early check-in wasn’t possible, but another sorted it quickly.

Comfortable hotel on the outskirts of the city but in easy reach of the city centre, with a great breakfast. Also we needed to request a replacement copy of our receipt a day after leaving and the hotel reception staff quickly and helpfully provided one.

The room had not been cleaned well - e.g. there were cut fingernails on one of the chairs. Also the main window in our room got stuck and we couldn't unlock it (late in the evening) ... it was one of those strange locks that need the handle to be placed in a particular position.

For a one night trip to Killarney, was very good. Our bedroom was spacious and comfy. The best part was the breakfast, incredible nice and tasty. With a very experienced chef I got full and we enjoyed a lot our time there. A great variarity of fresh fruits, cakes, drinks and the coffee nice and strong. Reception staff lovely and friendly.

We got a room close to a giant extractor fan or ventilator I don't know, but the sound affected my light slip. The windows doesn't close properly. so you can't avoid the sound of that extractor. Room clean and comfy. The bathroom always clean.
