Hotel was beautifully decorated and very clean.

Bar the lady on reception when we checked it the staff were not friendly, only speaking when necessary. I fear the cead mile failte is being lost in our country. Also we paid for bed and breakfast only to find come breakfast, the breakfast that was included was only the continental sort. Menu placed on table for hot food with prices attached as extra. I thought the advertising around this was misleading. Also no pot of tea. All self service which meant you had to get up from the table each time someone wanted a second cup of tea.

Our spacious room was located across the street on a property nestled behind trees (The Coach House), which was unexpected but lovely. This meant that we enjoyed very quiet nights, which I think was an improvement on staying in the main building facing the main street. Breakfast was good, too.

The Ground floor room had patio doors instead of windows, which made it impossible to leave them open for fresh air when out, and made you feel very exposed to other guests in general if the (blackout) curtains were not drawn. There is an green emergency light in the room that shines very brightly throughout the night.

It was very IRISH sweet and well decorated… the room at The Old Postoffice could have used a AC unit.. but the staff was helpful in providing a small fan The room was spacious and it overlooked the street which was nice view … the entire town was delightful Wish we could have stayed longer The restaurant and staff go above and beyond to help and the food very delicious they even surprised my wife with a happy birthday cake 🎂

There isn’t much , the bathroom which is newer could use a towel rack but other than that we don’t have much to complain only suggestions.. I’d stay there for a week !! :)

Everything about the Conyngham Arms Hotel was superb. We were delighted with our choice of hotel, for our weekend away. The rooms were nicely decorated. The waitresses in the dining room at breakfast were really efficient, and they worked with smiles on their faces. The breakfast choice was great, and we enjoyed every mouthful on both mornings of our stay. The hotel was clean, convenient, and a pleasure to visit. The Voya products in the bathroom were an added bonus. As was the reading room, a lovely quiet space to enjoy a drink and read the papers.

There was nothing to dislike about the Conyngham Arms Hotel.

My experience may not be typical, as we were upgraded into the Conyngham Arms' sister hotel, Boyne House, locared about 100m away. Our room was huge, with a comfortable 6-foot bed, 2 armchairs and a big sofa. The bathroom had a walk-in shower, roll top bath and 2 washbasins. It was so quiet and peaceful overnight. Breakfasts were taken in the Conyngham Arms - really good choice, well-cooked and generous portions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Slane is a pleasant little village with 2 pubs, really good restaurant, andxa cafe/bakery. Really handy for the Bru na Boinne visitor centre.

The hotel from the entrance, to the interior, the style of the hotel is exceptional . Service is amazing. bedrooms are unreal, we had many people staying and each room was amazing,from family apartment,to four poster beds, beds are so comfortable and spotless. The food was top notch..and the gardens are utterly beautiful, so nice, the children loved every minute as much as the adults. The breakfast was plentiful and so tasty, brilliant options on every serving from breakfast to lunch to dinner. We as a family of 5 Adults and many kids will definitely all be back to enjoy this wonderful hotel again.

We stayed in the coach house. It was beautifully decorated. The location was superb... private, secluded and felt like we were in the middle of a forest. Absolutely 10/10

There were just a few items in each of the rooms that could have been slightly better but would not put me off a return visit for example - the toilet roll holder was broken - the shower rack was loose - there was no handheld shower in one of our bathrooms (still had the rainfall head so still 100% useable) - a few little holes in the bathroom walls where I think toilet holders had been placed and perhaps fallen off. - the towel holders on the bathroom doors didn't hold the towels

Decorated very nice, breakfast is excellent , staff were great. Room was a good size the bedding and pillows are really comfy once we got into bed. Water was left in the room with tea and coffee. Had a good sleep.

The bed was really high and creaky, there was a sweet on the floor from the previous occupants, I’d say it was a quick clean to get us in earlier as I’d requested a earlier check in as I was going to a wedding. The bathroom was spotless no complaints there , but the walls are very thin. You could hear everything from around inside and out

The staff were exceptional from our welcome at reception, to checking out. Its very rare that all staff you meet in a hotel are so pleasant, and helpful. The breakfast was a great surprise too, as it was prepared fresh, with great options to choose from. the rooms were warm and cosy and the Bed was very comfortable too.

We could not get the television to work, but it was not essential to us, but I just thought I would mention it in case there is a problem with it, as we didn't report it. While it would turn on, we couldn't get any channels, so maybe it was just us.

We arrived and the car park was full. We parked some distance away and carried two heavy cases to the reception. They could not find our booking!! Took them three attempts to locate it. Then we were told we had been upgraded (yes that's lovely) but it was a short drive away. So, we had to carry the cases back to the car in the rain and following directions to the upgraded room in another building. The room was lovely but there was NO wIfi. We hadn't been told this at the reception.
