The staff Henry, Sophia and the General manager were all lovely and very helpful. We raised an issue with the General manager and he rectified it immediately. The garden space & pool was lovely. The rooms were clean and had a great team of house keeping staff. The reception was great with nice seating space. Breakfast had a good choice of options. Dinner was great. Our flight was delayed and our dinner reservation was moved 1.5 hrs without any issue The new rooms in the hotel were completed to a great standard with generous sized bathrooms containing walk in shower & bath (separate area with wc) and door from bathroom onto veranda. The bedroom was a great size, had electric blinds, robes, coffee maker and fridge in a great space well decorated.

There were big differences between the old and new rooms with balconies yet the price was the exact same for both rooms however enormous differences in size standard and facilities.The older rooms with balcony (same price) were smaller with a shower over bath which is difficult for older people to access. However the shower was good. UBER into Avignon was on average €20 each way. There is no shuttle bus.

Check in process was easy (once we'd navigated the electronic entry system to the car park). Staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was excellent, complete with electric kettle and sundries. The hotel pool was superb as was the spa with free pool towels available. The restaurant was ok but it was easy to use on our first night as the hotel is not located near any easily accessible restaurants/bars. Bed was super comfortable as was the AC. It is a decent hotel to stay in if you've had a long day travelling and have follow on plans.

The only negative is that the hotel location is not near any bars/restaurants, that said, the local bus stops right outside the hotel and it is only 1.90 euro pp for the easy 15 min ride to Avignon central station.

The facilities in the executive room were nice, both bath and shower, nice terrace, comfortable mattress and pillows, tea and coffee making equipment and a small fridge. The breakfast was delicious. Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools were fabulous, lovely decor outside with the garden, olive trees, etc. Restaurant and bar were fabulous too. Free parking as the hotel is outside of the town, yet only a 10min drive away.

We asked for a queen size bed in the executive room but it was 2 mattresses, with a gap in the middle. There was a faint bad smell coming from the toilet and/or the AC, the staff at the front desk dismissed the concern. There was a very noisy machine not far from the hotel that was on all the time. Overall, expensive room given these issues.

The receptionist staff was extremely helpful getting me settled in and communicating with TGV to retrieve a lost bag. Ninon remembered my name each of three visits, making reservations for me without referring to her screen.

I wondered about the prevalence of gated entrances in the neighborhood. It is well south of the old city next to the medical center. Good for me as it was quiet and my bike tour headed south from there. It would have been helpful to note that the Avignon TGV was as close or closer than Avignon Centre.

The breakfast buffet was great the garden area was relaxing and well sheltered. With easy access from the restaurant.

We were disappointed to be informed that despite their advertisement of meals available a coach of persons meant we as paying guests were not accommodated on our first evening. The fire safety signs and stepped access to the room left us feeling that the hotel was not fully engaged in considering the safety of its occupants.

Beautiful hotel, very comfortable and clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It has a private parking, which is great. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool or the spa, but they looked fantastic as well. Excellent breakfast too!

Unfortunately the area is awful, I personally would not dare to walk alone, and several other comments share this feeling. This is a shame, because the hotel really is wonderful (it is a gated property, so very safe overall). It is close to town (10 min by car), I think public transport is available nearby but the surroundings aren’t encouraging.

Very friendly staff, everyone will always acknowledge you which I thought was very professional. There's 2 pools to relax in, the indoor pool was more to my liking as the outdoor pool was cold, not heated. The lobby has plenty of seating to relax in, read a book, take breakfast or dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable, a good size bathroom and very clean. Private parking accessed via an entrance gate made me feel good about leaving the car and the hotel is a 10 minute drive into the heart of Avignon.

The gym was smaller than expected, if a guest is already in there then you have to wait your turn to use the equipment. The outdoor pool is very cold. We had to ask for bathroom towels on arrival as these weren't in the room and the shower gel was empty which was a shame as they use a very nice brand. I ordered the same dinner twice across our 4 night stay. The 1st time it was beautiful, hence ordering it again, the second time it was very different in appearance and produce, different chef maybe? It wasn't as good sadly. Small things but worth mentioning as it's a lovely hotel that has really nice staff working there so I'd like to think they'd want to fix these.

This hotel is in a quiet area with small, clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, though the restaurant opens at 7pm for dinner and serves lunch only from Tuesday to Friday 12:00 to 01:30 PM There are no other dining options nearby. Staff are friendly, and a good bus service connects to Avignon’s centre.

The indoor pool was seriously incredible. There was a mirror on the ceiling which was actually super fun! The rooms were nice, comfortable beds, about the size you'd expect. Also saw surprise geckos around the building (not inside, don't worry haha), which was cute!

Super weird bathrooms. There was a window looking from the bed directly over the toilet, which thankfully had shutters, but just a weird addition. The double doors (they were narrow, about a foot wide each) to the bathroom didn't close all the way, and left about an inch gap. There was also a fridge in there right next to the door, where you'd think shoes would go, and the fridge didn't actually keep anything cold. We thought it was broken, but when we asked the front desk, they said that the fridge stayed at about 15 degrees Celsius which was SO WEIRD!

Stayed for a week and every single one of the staff I encountered were all amazing.. From the receptionist to the waiters and waitresses and cleaning staff who were all so friendly and professional, they are a credit to the hotel and Best Western as a whole. Loved the pool, gym, restaurant, and bar. Great secure car park, and comfortable beds. I would without doubt stay here again next time I'm in France.

It's a little bit out of town but I didn't dislike anything.
