Walking distance from the JR station and Dotonbori. Friendly staff. Clean room with enough space for me and my luggage, and a little sitting nook. Very nice bathroom, spacious for a Japanese hotel, clean, all the basic amenities. Buffet breakfast had a lot of options: Japanese, English, Continental. There's a self-service locker room you can use if you want to go out before check-in or after check-out. There's lockers for luggage of all sizes.

Location wise, it is away from the noise of Namba, but still close enough so you can walk to the touristy part of Namba within 10 minutes or so. If you are able to navigate well using the metro underground, Exits 31 and 32 will bring you next to the hotel. The bathroom is split into a sink/toilet and shower/bath section which is nice and spacious. There are amenities available in the lobby.

The location is great - near convenience stores and the Nankai Rapit Line, so going to and from the Kansai International Airport is a breeze. Staff is amazing, they received a package ahead of time for me. Breakfast buffet is decent if it's already included in your cost. My biggest criteria was a separate bath and toilet which this hotel has. A lot of hotels for similar pricing didnt have it, and having a separate tub, shower and toilet made this a good deal.

Rooms are a bit smaller compared to comparable pricing in Kyoto but spacious enough compared to comparable pricing in Tokyo. It was a double room and would be too small with a companion, but big enough for a solo traveler like me. It's not a big gripe considering the space alloted for the bathroom.

Hotel Gracery Osaka Namba exceeded our expectations. The hotel's service staff is well-trained, rooms are clean and acceptably sized, and you have enough amenities to make your short-stay comfortable. Most importantly, this hotel is near the heart of Namba, where can easily explore every part of Osaka from. Attractions such as Universal Studios Japan, the Kaiyukuan Aquarium and Umeda are short train rides away (Subway entrance at Hotel's doorstep). There are also plenty of food and drinks options nearby, including a Family Mart convenience stall. Despite it's central location, the hotel is quiet at night barring a few sirens.

The hotel only has 2 Coin Laundries, so you might need to queue for washing and drying.

Breakfast: Great! Many options Location: Very near to the train station, there is a short cut within the small alley between Lawson and that pink looking hotel. It is much easier and shorter to walk this route. What GPS show, is to walk along the main road under a flyover, it is pretty dark now due to construction. This is a quieter area Amenities: You can self collect amenities at the lobby (Level 2) e.g. comb, bath salt, face lotion, body lotion, etc. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap is within the room. It comes with a traditional Jap shower area and a bath tub. There is a kettle and water jug in the room, you can take drinking water at the water dispenser at the lobby (Level 2) Room Size: It was bigger than another hotel I stayed in some streets away. However, you can only open your big luggage one at a time.

Street is a bit quieter so if you are returning late (ladies) you may wish to use the alleys which is more crowded due to restaurants and eateries which open late.

Location was good, we could walk from the Namba and Dotonbori districts in 15 minutes to the hotel. The Namba subway station is 8 minutes walking distance. Neighborhood was nice with restaurants, markets and also a waffle place with a nice pink building. We also used the coin washing machines, they have automatic detergent supplies. Free coffee and tea in the reception area. Very fast checkout. Air conditioning was nice, the windows could not be opened. Bathroom area was very big with separate toilet and sink, separate shower area and also a bathtub. The shower and the bathtub share a faucet. We would prefer a larger room with a smaller bathroom but it was still nice. We could open two middle sized suitcases on the floor.

The location is great (right next to the train station, and walking distance from major tourist sites), and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were able to accommodate our party by helping us get two rooms on the same floor. The bathroom and shower area was enormous.

The bathroom was great, but it did make up nearly half the floor space of the room. The room reminded me a bit of rooms I've stayed at in cruise ships. Most of the appliances and signage are in Japanese, so you'll want to have a translator app handy to figure out how to use the thermostat.

The check in and out process was a breeze and self service through the auto machine. The hotel offers free coffee, bath salt, body lotion, face mask, facial wash and etc that we can pick up from hotel lobby at level 2. They don’t limit us what we take daily. Overall Good service. There’s coin laundry service available if we need to wash our clothes. The ensuite toilet in our room is not too cramp and fitted with a reasonable size bathtub.

All the tv channels are in Japanese with no option to switch language.

The hotel is in a very good location. It is only a 5-minute walk from Namba Station and Namba Station Exit 32 is opposite to the hotel. Dotonbori is only a 10-minute walk away, and Namba City Shopping Mall and Takashimaya, and Namba Walk with plenty of shops and eateries, is only 5 minutes away and can be accessed from Namba Station Exit 32. The check-in for our room was quick and the triple room was of a reasonable size. The staff were polite and efficient. The breakfast spread was quite good but was almost the same every day.

Nothing much not to like as hotel is in good location and reasonably priced.

The breakfast was value-for-money and the staff were extremely polite. The staff, in general, at this hotel was extremely respectful. As a woman travelling with my young son, I did not feel judged and every single staff member that i interacted with, was extremely polite!

To be honest, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I did not opt to stay at the Hotel Gracery in Shinjuku but decided to stay here in Osaka Namba for its good location. Your service staff really made my son and I 'feel comfortable' and that is all i ask for, when travelling as a solo parent with my 7-year old son!
