The hotel was well located in Ginza. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

The room was quite small for two Australian travellers with large suitcases. Had we been aware we would have booked a larger room. We did not have breakfast at the hotel as we thought the fixed rate was a bit expensive. We paid approx $60 for late check out until 3pm.

The room was clean and cosy and while the room looked a bit dated, the bathroom looked new. There was a flat TV with Netflix and wifi was good. The hotel is in a very convenient location - very close to Ginza shopping streets and public transportations, all within walking distance. There are also a lot of good cafes, restaurants and bars nearby and two convenience stores right across the hotel.

Overall it was a fine stay. You pay more for location than for anything else. The staff were friendly but not as overly helpful as you experience at most other places in Japan. There was nothing wrong with this per se but definitely had better experiences else where, and therefore the difference is notable.

The place is really charming in design and and is very unique, however there is really no place to sit in the lobby comfortably. So if your flight gets in early, you won't have a very comfortable place to wait. There's one little seating area.

Good location. Near to Higashi Ginza Subway Station. Convenience store is located in front of the hotel. Easy to buy drinks and light meal such as rice ball. Shower has enough water pressure and the width of stream can be adjusted easily.

Hotel itself is old one. Well maintained, but you may feel it sometimes.

The location was great, close to the main strip (on Sunday, they close that main street to vehicles and allow pedestrians to have full use of the street) in Ginza and near the Tokyo Metro line (Ginza Ichome). I do speak Japanese, but the people I traveled with did not, which wasn't a problem because most of the staff spoke enough English to help out.

Overall, the hotel was great for its location and price. However, considering this hotel is rated 4 stars (Google Maps), I would expect the interior of the rooms to be slightly updated or cleaner. By no means was the room filthy, but it was clear that some things had been overlooked. For example, you can tell that some parts of the room and bathroom haven't been dusted in quite some time. Just something to note if you have very high expectations of what 'clean' means.

We loved the location, close to a few of the main train lines we needed. The bed was very very comfy and the pj's weren't itchy. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, and the overall room size was exactly what we needed for 8 nights!

The fridge in our room was in a cupboard, which is common in hotels, however the fan in the fridge was not able to keep the fridge cold when the cupboard door was closed. We asked on numerous occasions for the cupboard door to be left open so the fridge would work correctly, however we got back on a few occasions to have to throw everything out of the fridge because the cupboard door was closed when the room was cleaned. We also didnt like that they had no washing machine for us to use. Our fault for not doing enough research. They did do a laundry service, but one shirt was going to cost the same as a whole load of laundry, so we just found a local coin opperated laundry mart.

Great location friendly staff, clean rooms.

They are very strict on the 3pm check in. Our flight landed at 5am with an 18 month old baby, so we were extremely tired and hoped the room could be ready early. Had to pay ¥3000 yen to get it 2 hours earlier. Tiny rooms.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to all major shopping and food places.

The decor was a bit dated but still well maintained. The lobby area was cramped when just a few guests and their luggage's take up the space.

The room size was great, the location was very convenient for riding the trains in the morning and coming home at night. The staff was fantastic, and if you are American, the manager (I think we was the manager) Mr. Yamaguchi, speaks perfect English and is very kind to talk to. The rest of the staff was very kind and we were able to get by with most conversations, with a little help with a translation tool.

The beds were firmer than we are used to, but they were fine. Also the pillows were a little strange, they were partially cotton and partially beads or something. My wife did not like them at all but I was able to sleep with them.

The breakfast is very good with a lot of variety for Asian and western guests. The location is in Ginza 1 where the brand shops are located and the area not so packed with tourists。There are quite a lot of good restaurants nearby. it is about 15 minutes walk to the Tokyo Station. The room is equipped with a bunch of toiletries even combs, rasors, hair clips, body towels, toothbrushes etc.

The room although comfortable and already 15m2 , space can be better deployed still. The wardrobe is a very narrow cabinet and hardly enough for two persons unless the stay is only for one or two days. That space can be more usefully deployed to have a built in cabinet there because next to the cabinet is just space. Although there is a metro station right beside the hotel, one needs to change twice before reaching Tokyo Station due to the very complicated transport system in Tokyo. So in the end, one is faster by simply walking.
