Loved the location and decor of the extremely large suite. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was over the top!

Many small maintenance items in the room needed repairs (bathroom vanity light, towel rack, running toilet, 2nd bedroom lamp). The main room TV remote turned on TVs in both bedrooms at the same time. However, the major one was that the "Do Not Disturb" electronic notice on the exterior of the room door did not work. When the front desk was notified, they said they would hang a do not disturb sign on the door. They placed a room service menu instead! I asked for no housekeeping service (we don't like anyone in our room ever) & that did not happen. I had to make my own sign for the remainder of our stay.

The rooms were clean and well stocked. The clerk on duty during the day was helpful. We got the superior room and it was large. The Bed was comfortable (if you like a hard mattresss). The room provided plenty of storage. Storage was superior to the other places we stayed. The Shower was great. The breakfast buffet was good. The service provided by the attendant was excellent. The location of the hotel was great. The hotel was a short 5 minute walk to the Grand Canal waterfront and Riva Degli Schiavone. The hotel was a ten minute walk to St Marks Piazza

The Service was not consistent. The Hair dryer kept blowing out. The first time we requested a hair dryer - no one showed up with one. On our way out for dinner, we saw the evening clerk delivering a dryer to another room. The next time the hair dryer blew out, the day clerk was working and he delivered one immediately, The ventilation system delivers noise and odors from the restaurant below. We quickly got use to it.

Great location, spacious and elegant room, very good breakfast with good quality coffee and the service at breakfast from the lady was wonderful, generally friendly staff, we loved the balcony overlooking the canal and a gondolier cleaning his vessel solicitously, very good restaurant food-wise (despite the waiters who were unhappy we did not order seven dishes each).

It was rather amusing when the receptionist announced proudly on a very hot August day that the water in the room is on the house; two tiny bottles for four people :) in a suit, and only on the first day. But I would stay there again anyway. Some sockets did not work, but there were others that worked :).

The moment after payment for reservation in booking system for the hotel I received a fishing mail with warning that I have to pay immediately. Scary feeling when you imagine. And who providing details booking or hotel. So staying becomes weird also.

Whilst it is reasonably expensive, it is in a great location. We had a canal view room. The room was lovely, huge with very high ceilings. And although it was next to a canal and restaurants near the canal, it was very quiet. We arrived before lunch. After putting our cases in the room, we stepped out the front door to the right and had a beautiful meal at the very first and closest canal side restaurant. Later in the evening, we stepped out of the front door to the left, and had an equally lovely meal at the next closest restaurant.

It was a little bit hard to find, and I had to stop and ask a few people. It was a little bit of a job to push our cases about 400 m from where the ferry drops you off. It would be good if there were people there who knew exactly where the hotels were, and did that for you for a price. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful, but the floor of the shower was just a little bit slippery, and could do with a rubber mat.

3 minute walk to main water front. 5 minute walk to St Marks Square. Eating places literally outside the front door, along with Gondola rides. Fridge in room. They charge for the contents if you take but there’s a price list in the room.

Not enough tea & coffee in room (it’s an English thing!) but you can easily ask for more. We bought milk from local shop and kept in fridge. Breakfast is 8-10am. They don’t start it earlier than 8

The Location was perfect. The full authenticity of being in central Venice without the crowds. After being there for 3 days both my wife and I agree that we couldn't have chosen a better spot or hotel. Everything was no further than a 5 - 10 minute walk. Friendly, Helpful, Clean. Spot on and most importantly the Air con, which was a welcome relief from the midday temperatures and crowds if you are wanting to go during the height of summer. Tip, Go for one of the front canal view rooms, the views and sounds are straight out of a film!

The room (Jr Suite) was amazing. so much space and a lovely view of the canals below. the lounge area was nice to relax whilst not using the bed. the bathroom facilities were very spacious and comfortable. great spa. the windows allowed us to get some fresh air and view the nightlife. great location close to water taxi pickup spot to the airport.

a little bit of a distance from the train station, but nice to be away from the main hustle and bustle areas. The 8 o’clock breakfast start time meant we missed out on our included breakfast due to our outgoing flight time.

This hotel is located very closely to the ferry, which made it extremely easy to arrive with our suitcases. The hotel is beautiful and we really enjoyed staying here. Room is comfortable, bathroom is very large, and the bed was extremely comfortable also. We ate at the restaurant on several occasions and enjoyed a glass of Chianti out the front whilst watching the gondola’s float by. Food and wine delicious. The service provided to us by the staff, particularly Ronnie and Al Amin was excellent and they were very attentive. We would absolutely recommend this hotel.
