It was close to food outlets and shopping centres.And transport Lovely swimming pool. Great breakfast.

We were upgraded to a loft. It was hard to get into and out of the bed.

The location of the hotel is great and very convenient — it's easy to walk to main tourist spots like Raffles City, Little India, and Kampong Glam, or take a Grab (the local ride-hailing app) to farther areas such as Marina Bay, which is also just a short drive away. The common areas are excellent: the pool deck is marvelous, the gym is small but well-equipped, and both the restaurant and lobby are lovely. The rooftop offers an amazing view, but it feels a bit underutilized — a bar up there would be awesome! ;) Breakfast is pretty good, and the cleaning staff were very kind.

The staff were professional — front desk, restaurant hosts, etc. — but if they were a bit warmer, I feel the experience would really go through the roof! My room didn’t have a closet, just a few hangers, which makes it a bit uncomfortable for a longer stay, especially if you're visiting for business. Having an iron in the room would also be a nice touch.

Nice 4 star hotel. Easy to reach food courts, fancy restaurants, shopping malls, MRT and bus stations, museums and other attractions on foot. The location is central but not crowded and it's quiet.

The standard rooms have the toilet and shower inside the room, surrounded by tainted glass panes. This does not offer much privacy so it's only good if you feel very comfortable with who you're traveling with. Dumbells in the gym only go up to 10 kgs, would be great to have an additional row up to 25 kgs or so.

Very clean, small room was very well organised and comfortable, staff very helpful and pleasant. Pool was very pleasant at the end of the day. The foyer bar has nice ambiance. The helpfulness and respectful approach of the staff was very important to me as a single woman (and I am also older) travelling alone…

I would have liked coffee in the lobby in the morning but not available until 11:30. I did not want to go to Royale. I ate dinner in the lobby bar so perhaps widen the menu of what is available. Again, as a single woman I preferred to stay within hotel at night for a meal so for me a wider menu would have been nice.

The location was the selling point, it was near MRT & bus station moreover the surrounding areas were pack with shopping mall, hawkers center and cheap souvenir stores. As a muslim I had no trouble finding halal food, it was near muslim district (kampung gelam only 10 min walk) and there are few halal resto around the mall near hotel. I stayed in Loft Room, it easily accomodate me, my husband n my teenager son. The room has sofa that can turn into a bed for free. The purified drinking tap water also a good extra service, it reduce our drinking cost & at the same time reduce plastic bottle consumption. Me & my family had a good stay, will come back again.

The hotel itself was very good, the price we paid for the room was what we expected and the hotel staff and facilities were really good, staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was very good value for money - avoid the busy period if you can though as it can be chaotic. Location is great, just up from Bugis Street MRT station, a couple of blocks from Raffles, very easy to get around. Lots of great places to eat around the hotel - a great food mall just next door (Fortune Centre) where you can get some really great street food at a great price. Overall the hotel was very good.

Our one slight criticism was the room - we had a room with a upstairs bedroom which was a bit cramped but very much ok as it was certainly fit for what we wanted. Our niggle was the stairs to the bedroom area - if you are of a certain age and need to use the toilet in the night it can be a bit disconcerting making you way down to the bathroom. having said that, we would stay at the hotel again

The room we took was a signature loft, my daughter was delighted to get her little room upstairs. The room was very comfortable, clean and spartan with necessary amenities. Best part was no plastic water bottles, they had a water purifier in the room, this is very thoughtful move by the hotel to move away from plastic waste. The hotel location is a plus, near to Bugis and many other MRT stations as well as close to many shopping areas.

The breakfast menu was not really continental and more biased to East Asian cuisine. Dificult for vegetarians to manage, of course there was a good spread of fruits and cereals as an alternative.

Stayed at Mercure Bugis Singapore and loved the ideal location—very convenient, surrounded by eateries and shopping malls within walking distance. The receptionist was friendly, and check-in was smooth and easy. However, the bedsheets had an unpleasant odour on the first night. I was too tired to complain, but room service did replace them the next day. The toilet doesn’t have a bidet, and the shower area is quite cramped. Overall, everything was fine, but the hotel could improve on cleanliness and bathroom facilities to enhance the guest experience.

It was our first time in Singapore and when we arrived the receptionist who attended to us was very kind and helpful with our check in. I believe her name was Jasmine Yoh? I only got a glance at her name tag when everything was done and she was very knowledgeable on the area on where to eat and shop. We were upgraded and the room was fantastic! It was on the 14th floor, quiet and perfect for a solo traveller or a couple like us. We slept really well as the mattress and pillows were very comfortable and the blacked out floor to ceiling curtains helped with the sleep. The hotel is very convenient, there are 2 linked shopping malls opposite the hotel and everything is 15 mins walk such as where the bars, shops and offices are. If wanting to see the tourist attractions such as the merlion or garden by the bay etc it's easy to call a taxi for hotel pick up, Singapore uses either grab or zig app, there is no uber here. Breakfast is continental and the hotel has 24 hour laundrette facilities on the 7th floor. There is room service who can wash your clothes for you but if you want to do one big last minute load just before checking out then you can wash yourself. You will need to get tokens from reception, 1 for the washing machine (30 min cycle and built in detergent) and 1 for the dryer (1 hour cycle). If doing the wash at night bring a torch or use your phone as the area isn't well lit at night. 24 hour gym and the pool is from 6am to 10pm both also on the 7th floor. On our last day we didn't want to leave the hotel and our room but good things must come to an end. Thank you to the staff for making our stay enjoyable!

Nothing comes to mind. Would stay here again when I come back to Singapore to visit our friend.

The hotel is well located with easy access to 3 MRT lines (<5min walk). There is multiple shopping and restaurant opportunities around. The bay area is within 15 min walk distance. Some rooms have ventilation noise above my low acceptance limit but the hotel employee So Angela made all efforts to find me the perfect room where I could sleep like a baby. She is one of the reason i will come back again

The fridge in the room is quiet but does not ensure a very good cooling. Women guest needs not fully considered as no Hair conditioner provided.
