Location was okay – within walking distance of the main attractions and station, although Bologna is on the smaller side. The bed was comfortable enough and we slept well. The breakfast spread was reasonable with savoury options like eggs and bread, plus cereal, cold cuts, fruit and sweet treats.

The room was very basic. Air conditioning was a bit iffy. Couldn’t really figure out how to work it as the different settings didn’t seem to make much of a difference. It would have also been really nice to have had a kettle in the room so that we could make our own coffee, especially as the coffee served at breakfast wasn’t to our taste. However, there was a cafe just 3 minute walk away that served great coffee so highly recommend that (Forno Brisa, FYI). Shower is also on the smaller side which could be an issue if you’re a larger person.

Breakfast was a bit ordinary although the coffee and some of the sweets were quite tasty. Location was good, just a bit outside all of the tourist buzz, but still very accessible. comfortable with no surprises.

The hotel room was noisy. We could hear the conversations of our neighbors word for word when they were around. Also the heating was hard to control which lead us open the window. That way we were enjoying a many a street conversation during the night

The breakfast was above my expectation. Usually when the breakfast is included they don’t put any effort on it. But in this hotel, they are also careful about all clients.I am lactose intolerant and I told them the croissants you have seems very delicious. It’s a pity that I can’t taste them and after some minutes they provided me a croissant lactose free. reception is for very nice and helpful too .I’m new in this city so I didn’t know where to go exactly and what I can do in one day. They helped me to find out what can I do during one day. they also patiently provided me a little book of Bologna a map of the city and the list of typical restaurants around there. The room was very nice, quite comfortable and I wish I could’ve stayed one more night there.

Very friendly staff, car park in basement of hotel (pay) Breakfast was huge and great About 15 minute walk to town. Not bad. Room was good, bed was good It is an older hotel but well maintained and in good condition

Internet a bit weak, Bathroom a bit small The AC is more of a fan with some cooling. In the summer you need to leave it on high all day to keep the room cool, as if you have it off during the day the room with never cool off in the evening. There is no temperature settings for the AC, it is just fan speed

The selection for breakfast was substantial. What I really liked (in comparison to our visit a year earlier) was that breakfast was served in the bar area which is well lit and has comfortable furniture, instead of the separate room in the back of the hotel which was rather non descriptive. Our room was very comfortable and there was very good water pressure when taking a shower. Please note that the shower is only 80cm wide, which some may find a little cramped.

Very clean. Linen good quality. Good quality bed although the pillows were hard for our liking (not feather).The general upkeep of the hotel was very good. The staff were polite. The owner went out of his way to ensure we were happy with the room. Tea making was not included in the rate but he arranged for it to be supplied.

The room was quiet small and the bathroom was even smaller. Partially the shower cubicle not enough room in it to bend down to wash your feet without opening the door

The breakfast itself was lovely, a large variety and a great service. Concerning the room, it is indeed smaller than it seemed however not an issue at all as it is well kept and relatively new. The bathroom is the same, relatively new and clean which was very good.

The only bad thing was the lack of water pressure in shower - my room was on the 5th floor.

Location was great - very central and easy to walk to restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast was simple but there was plenty and it was well presented.

The bathroom was fine, but the shower is very small and there is not much room to move. There are no English channels on the TV. I would have liked tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Location is very convinient as well as it has a garage next door. Most of the staff is very friendly and accomodating.

After you leave reception you can quite soon see some wear and tear, that could be fixed for small investment ( touch of paint here in there, replace missing numbers on some doors etc.). Nothing major but would add quite bit of finess.

Location was excellent , room are small however adequate for getting a good nights sleep . The bed was super comfy .

The shower was very small , my husband is over 6ft and struggled to get in and out of the shower . For patrons on there well built side would not be able to fit through the shower door!
