The location is AMAZING. It can be a bit of a hike to get to, but it is well worth the trek. The hotel is right next to the lighthouse lookout and there is a walking trail that leads further up the mountain for more breathtaking views. There is even a playground nearby, which was very helpful for my 6 year old. The restaurant has great food.

We did have some issues with water escaping the shower onto the floor, and the hot water and pressure would give out randomly. We could have just been using water at a high-usage time. My only other criticism is that the breakfast menu was fairly limited to eggs and yogurt; however, everything was delicious.

We had an amazing stay. We were warmly welcomed by Magda, probably the friendliest receptionist we have ever met, who gave us a free upgrade of the room and helped us at the Spa. Thanks! The room was cozy and super dark at night which is perfect for sleeping. The lake view was insane. The heated pool and the breakfast were also amazing.

The staff at the restaurant was slow and not attentive, but maybe because they were too busy. The location was not easy to reach by car, but it was indeed worth it.

The view: get a room facing the lake. That alone, more than pays for the stay. It is not called Paradiso by pure chance. The infinity heated pool and the sauna are a most welcome touch after a long trip. And what a trip: to get to the hotel, you take a narrow windy road fit for a bicycle. But, you are in car...and so is the other guy coming down. This is the stuff that forges memories ;-) one does not access Paradise, without a transit through Purgatory. The restaurant and bar, with the aforementioned view, are also noteworthy

Amazing, friendly, helpful staff. Thankyou you to Hajar, Yasmine and the driver taking us to the funicular and back. Also thanks to all the other staff at dinner and breakfast. Dinner was lovely, very good quality and reasonably priced. We had the ribs and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. Breakfast blew us away. A la carte, didn't take long to come out. Pastries and fresh juice while you wait, order what you like from the a la carte. Beautiful rooms, well thought out decor and spacious. Bathroom also well thought out and good use of space. A little squeeze around the toilet. Spotless place. The jacuzzi overlooking lake como didn't disappoint either. Outstanding views!

Apart from not being able to use the pool due to the inclement weather there was nothing not to like. Be aware, in windy conditions the pool will likely be unavailable.

We loved everything about this amazing hotel. Room was small, but beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We had dinner twice during our stay and the food is delicious, alongside the breakfast. After booking this hotel, I was concerned about the location after reading some of the reviews, but I am so glad I didn't allow this to change my decision. You just need to factor extra time into your journey getting up and down to the lake. After reaching Brunate (on the Funicular) it is about a 30 min (very steep walk) up to the hotel. However the hotel provides a transfer service at a small cost (8.00 - 12.00 / 16.00 - 22.00 hrs) which is very efficient - you just message them when you need picking up. Out of these hours Serafino Bar at the top of the Funicular also provides a transfer at 5 Euros each, and there is also a bus service that goes to the Lighthouse which is next to the hotel (we did not use, so not sure how frequent they are). Once you reach the hotel, the views are absolutely out of this world, so very beautiful and tranquil, with the added bonus of the small infinity pool, sauna and hot tub. Eating dinner on the terrace overlooking such stunning views was wonderful. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much problem for any of them.

First, Yasmine from the hotel was absolutely wonderful! We used all of her recommendations and they were awesome! The view was the most amazing I have ever had from a hotel room. The breakfast was incredible. They brought us a tray of beautiful food and then a menu if we wanted anything else. The restaurant was sensational for all the meals. The hotel is steps away from a beautiful light house with another amazing view. There was a tram that took us back and forth to the town of Como so we had our view and able to explore the town and surrounding towns.

The hotel is small and thus not crowded and has a perfect view over Como Lake - from the sun terrace, pool and jacuzzi as well as from half of the rooms and the bistro. The rooms are modern, stylish and impeccably clean. They also serve decent breakfast and great coffee. So if you wish to enjoy Como views comfortably, without the hustle and bustle, that’s a place to go.

There is no air conditioning, but this is an issue only in case of an extreme heatwave (which sadly was our case). It should be fine in normal air conditions as they are in the mountains where it is cooler than down by the lake. Also, if you do not choose the lake view room, you are not likely to open the window at all as it faces the street where the Volta lighthouse visitors park.

My stay at Hotel Paradiso Como was nothing short of magical – the name says it all. Here’s why: 📍 Location & Views The view is simply breathtaking. From the infinity pool, you get a cinematic panorama of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. Especially during sunset – pure poetry in motion. 🏊 Infinity Pool & Vibes The pool is the real highlight. Whether it’s early morning mist or golden hour glow, every second feels like a scene from a movie. Peaceful, serene, and never overcrowded. 🍽️ Breakfast with a View Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, served on a terrace overlooking the lake. A cappuccino with that view? Heaven. 🛏️ Room & Tranquility The room was simple, clean, and had everything I needed. Most importantly – total peace and quiet. Just nature and birdsong. 🚗 Getting There Yes, the road up is a bit winding and adventurous – but absolutely worth it. Once you’re up there, you’ll never want to leave.

My partner and I had the pleasure of spending our baby moon at this charming hotel atop a hill with breathtaking views of Lake Como. The hotel offers stunning views of the lake below, making it the perfect escape for anyone looking for tranquility and natural beauty. Don’t let the fact that it sits on top of the hill deter you! We had no car or vespa, and were thus reliant on bus transfers (the cable car/train thingy was out of order). Transfers up and down the hill were quick and easy and all of it was sorted by the hotel staff. Throughout, the staff was lovely, offering great hospitality. We also enjoyed meals at the hotel’s restaurant. The food was authentic and delicious, and I would recommend everyone to get their signature pistachio pasta. I even brought pistachios back home to try and recreate it! And to anyone thinking about going to Milan - I would recommend a few nights in Lake Como to get the best of both worlds - tranquility and nature in Lake Como, and the pulse of Milan.

The road from Como to the hotel felt like an adventure, with its narrow, winding path that at times barely had enough space for two cars to pass. The room could benefit from air conditioning, as it got quite hot during the night. Although there was a fan, it made a bit of noise, which was less than ideal for a restful sleep. Additionally, the blind on the window didn’t fully block out the light in the morning, which made it a bit difficult to sleep in past sunrise.
