This hotel is very high quality, from the location (just next to Ponte Vecchio) the rooms arrangement/layout, cleanliness and the staff is excellent! Just to name few people who went beyond: Monika, Robert and Jonathan from the breakfast restaurant were wonderful to us! Our cappuccino had our names on them!! So cute! From the reception/booking Simone did a wonderful job accommodating my mother (79yo) needs offering us an extra room so she wouldn’t sleep on a lower bed which would bother her knees… Luka from front desk also was outstanding! Can’t forget Barbara, manager, who was amazing to us as well! We actually extended our stay due to such a great experience we had! Thank you Berchielli staff!

The pillows were not comfortable… but all Europe pillows are very flat and hard so it’s not their fault!

everything about this property was first class. The staff was extremely helpful. The location near the PonteVecchio was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, everything from eggs and smoked salmon to fruit and various breads and pastries were available.

The location was wonderful and the room (a twin) was more than sufficient. After almost 20 hours of travel time to get to Florence, this hotel was very accommodating and had my room ready early (as I had requested). I am so happy they were able to do this for me as I was exhausted when I arrived and cannot imagine waiting 5+ hours for the room to be ready. The breakfast, included in the price I paid, was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and called me a taxi when I needed it the next day. Highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike but if I was being picky would have been nice to have water replenished each day and although tea and coffee provided there was no milk. Hook in bathroom to put robes on and anti slip mat for bath when showering would have been appreciated.

Everything went well, from our pre-arranged pickup at the airport, to finding a great room right on the Arno with great views, to the super breakfast with a variety of quality offerings, it all went very well. I think the best part was the location. We were a few minutes from nearly all the sites. We did almost everything on foot and it was easy, even for an old guy with bad knees! We found two little restaurants within a 5 minute walking radius that were friendly and affordable, plus a supermarket with anything a traveler could want, including a very decent wine selection. I wish we could say we had personally discovered this super little hotel, but we were traveling with friends who has stayed here three times in past years and we were lucky enough to have such friends. They will be back and so will we!

1. Excellent Location impossible to beat. Right in the historical center of Florence, on the bank of river Arno next to the amazing bridge of the renaissance times. 2. While the hotel is created from joining three separate palazzos of 16th century, it was tastefully remodeled multiple times and has both historical charm and all modern amenities. "Art Nuovo" interior is a wonderful stroke of a masterpiece. 3. Customer service is at its best. You are being treated as a royalty. 4. Rooms are spacious and have everything you'd need for your stay.

1. Parking. While the hotel has a valet parking, beware: it is bloody expensive to park a car and you will likely accrue a fine for driving in the city center. 2. Breakfast is decent, but selection is no match to everything else you get from your stay at this hotel. 3. Sound proofing is not bad, but if you have a little child in the adjacent room connected by a locked door with your room, you may need ear plugs.
