This hotel is very high quality, from the location (just next to Ponte Vecchio) the rooms arrangement/layout, cleanliness and the staff is excellent! Just to name few people who went beyond: Monika, Robert and Jonathan from the breakfast restaurant were wonderful to us! Our cappuccino had our names on them!! So cute! From the reception/booking Simone did a wonderful job accommodating my mother (79yo) needs offering us an extra room so she wouldn’t sleep on a lower bed which would bother her knees… Luka from front desk also was outstanding! Can’t forget Barbara, manager, who was amazing to us as well! We actually extended our stay due to such a great experience we had! Thank you Berchielli staff!

The pillows were not comfortable… but all Europe pillows are very flat and hard so it’s not their fault!

everything about this property was first class. The staff was extremely helpful. The location near the PonteVecchio was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, everything from eggs and smoked salmon to fruit and various breads and pastries were available.

The location was wonderful and the room (a twin) was more than sufficient. After almost 20 hours of travel time to get to Florence, this hotel was very accommodating and had my room ready early (as I had requested). I am so happy they were able to do this for me as I was exhausted when I arrived and cannot imagine waiting 5+ hours for the room to be ready. The breakfast, included in the price I paid, was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and called me a taxi when I needed it the next day. Highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike but if I was being picky would have been nice to have water replenished each day and although tea and coffee provided there was no milk. Hook in bathroom to put robes on and anti slip mat for bath when showering would have been appreciated.

Everything was excellent! The staff was so pleasant, big clean room and bathroom. The breakfast staff and food was amazing. The location was perfect.

We booked a suite but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded upon check-in—such a nice touch! They also accommodated an early check-in, which we really appreciated even though we didn’t expect it. Location was perfect! I was able to explore on my own while my partner chose to rest. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was VERY spacious, and the view from our window overlooking the river was simply amazing. It made the whole experience feel extra special.

During our stay there was construction happening right outside our balcony (river side). The noise, especially during the daytime concrete removal, was noticeable. However, the construction didn’t ruin our stunning view of the river, which we really enjoyed. Since we spent most of our days out exploring, the noise didn’t detract much from the overall experience. One small suggestion for the suite: adding a small couch would be a nice touch. There was a bench at the end of the bed, but having a couch to relax on while putting on shoes or unwinding after a long day of walking would have made the room even more comfortable.

Great location along the river and near the old bridge. We walked everywhere. It can be a little noisy if you have a river view and want to leave your windows open for airflow as there is a cafe that stays open until late. I just used ear plugs and assumed it was the trade off for location. The history of the hotel is great and the buffet breakfast is excellent. If you are looking for a nice dinner close by try a little family owned place a few doors down called Osteria Cacio e Vino all'Antico Borgo. We ate there twice as it was so good and nice and close after a big day exploring.
