The room was nice. High ceiling with a unique design. The location is good and the view to the river is nice. I had my car with me, the Valet experience was good and simple enough. Although it was a little bit pricey, it made our stay easier.

The attitude during luggage transfer was not the best. Although they did not say anything, it felt that the employee was bothered with the amount of luggage we had.

Location was excellent! In front of the Arno River. Close to some of the most important historical buildings, to the best stores and to excellent restaurants. Everything was beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. Beds, linens and towels were really nice. Breakfast was very good - in a very nice location and with a big variety of options.

One of the rooms (we booked two) was tiny, without space for a chair to use with the table. This same tiny room was in a floor that was being renovated, so there was smell from the painting, noise and a messy space before arriving in the bedroom. Staff was not specially sympathetic. I asked to change to another room and the lady with whom I talked with didn’t seem to care about my discomfort. The only option she offered me was in another building, was not specially beautiful and would cost me 100 euros more per night, so I stayed in the tiny room.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely exceptional in every aspect. The room was truly amazing, spacious, and divided into two areas, providing a sense of comfort and privacy. The room's lighting was excellent, highlighting the impeccable cleanliness and carefully thought-out decor. The bathroom deserves special mention, being spacious and very well-lit. The presence of a shower and a whirlpool bathtub added a touch of luxury to the experience, providing moments of relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff were remarkably attentive and accommodating, providing high-quality service that enhanced the overall positive experience. The willingness to assist and the friendliness of the staff were highlighted aspects of my stay. The breakfast offered by the hotel was truly impeccable, with an impressive variety of delicious options. The quality of the food exceeded expectations, making morning meals a memorable experience. Furthermore, the hotel's location is excellent, with many restaurants nearby, providing convenience for guests. The car parking service also stood out for its efficiency and quality. The hotel's proximity to the city center, just 500 meters away, is an additional advantage, making local attractions easily accessible. Based on my positive experience, I definitely plan to return to this hotel in the future and will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. I was extremely pleased with every aspect of my stay.

Location was very perfect !! it was like the center of florence you can go anywhere with a 5-10 Mins walk and it was close to most delicious recommended resturents that was provided by the kind staff !!

it's was only a minor issue that the elevator was a bit slow and not much of noise canceilation when rain comes

THE STAFF! All perfect but especial thanks go to Wafa/i (sorry if mispelt 😳) whom could not have been more lovely. Just THE best customer experience I have ever had! We had only planned to stay at the Alfieri for one night but ended up staying for 4!! And it was HEAVEN!! We were lucky enough to stay in Room 102.. the palatial one with the painted high domed ceiling and 3 almost floor to ceiling windows that light flooded through, giving THE best view straight out onto the Ponte Santa Trinita and the River Arno.. where folks gather each evening to watch the glorious sunset but we had our own fabulous view from our windows❤️🏆 Room 102 is HUGE! Massive comfy kingsize bed, 2 cool nubuck sofas (which can be slept on), biggest tv ever, fab huge spa bathroom with jazuzzi bath and shower that you’d get 8 people into 🤣 Brilliant aircon that we appreciated in blazing August heat!! Breakfast was in the Foody restaurant and delicious. Bacon/eggs/omlettes to order plus so many delicious baked breads/cakes, sandwiches, fruits and cereal options. Literal cornucopia! (And they do take-away bags if like us you were tearing away to do a tour🏆) Great private roof terrace (perfect for romantic sunsets! Or sunbathing!) Lovely cool, serene courtyard with comfy armchairs to get away from the heat/bustle in the shade with a drink or a book. (Also loved LD who ran the bar.. so friendly.) LOCATION: Perfect, 10/10! 2 mins from Ponte Vecchio/Uffizzi, 10mins walk from the Station/ Santa Maria church, 10-15mins walk from the Cathedral, across the River from Pitti Palace. Great base to explore from. I can’t recommend this hotel too highly.

Living there was like living in a fairytale ! Our room was a suite on top of Ponte Vecchio with all of the amenities we needed even a coffee machine . Absolutely clean , they gave us small treats each day & the staff was more than helpful, welcoming and happy to host us there . Not to mention the ideal location , close to EVERYTHING (Centro Storico, shops , restaurants , monuments etc)

There was a good selection of breakfast options. Room was clean and comfortable. Geat location and within walking distance to most of the places which I frequent.

The check out was 11 am as stated and I requested to check out at noon instead...they wanted to charge me Euro20 for that hour. Requested at reception to change smaller denominations but they could not do...they had instead to ask a bellhop to change the amount...it was the way that the front office guy handled the request...Told them that they should bring this up to management and that they should be able to help the guest change smaller denomination where necessary...small gestures are always appreciated.

We took one of the suites. The room is super comfy. The spa is a very good asset after a long day visiting the city. The view on the Ponte Vecchio is great. The breakfast is exceptional. Between the fresh fruits and the juices, the focaccias and the warm food, it's the best way to fill your body before going on expedition. But keep some space for the food you'll find in the city. And forget about your diet. For the rest, the staff is super nice and efficient. With very good advices about the city.

If you like to sleep with the window open at night, you might rethink this. But nothing to do with the hotel. Just because of the people at night in the city.

It’s very well appointed, very comfortable and lovely staff, very helpful and cheerful. We had a lovely view and a lovely room. To the hotels credit when I explained the danger I face taking a shower in a slippery bathtub they kindly moved us to a room with a walk in shower. Very helpful, very easy to talk to, there weren’t any excuses or bargaining they just made sure we were totally taken care of. Definitely this is a first class establishment.

The shower in the tub is badly designed and while I understand it’s a period building it would be safer to not have a shower in a tub with a round bottom, because it’s impossible to stand up safely without slipping over and cracking your head

Rivalta Hotel - Alfieri Collezione is an absolute gem in the heart of Florence. The location is perfect, just steps away from the city's most iconic attractions, yet it offers a peaceful and luxurious retreat.
