Don’t let some of the poor reviews steer you away. This hotel was excellent value for money. The concierge was super helpful, kind and recommended some great spots for breakfast. Room was tidy, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom! Room isolation was definitely better than expected, just noisy to the hallway. Smart tv and kettle in the room also.

Our only gripe is the heat pump has some kind of automated drain? That makes a noise while it’s running and it does make it difficult to sleep. The bathroom would be super nice if not for the poor finishing and grout work on the tiles. But only minor!

The hotel is centrally located, on a very quiet street close to the main square. The staff is very kind and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable. We only spent one night and it was a great option, mainly for its value for money in such an expensive city.

When arriving, the hotel was not easy to find. There is no lift, so get ready to climb up 2 or 3 floors. Breakfast is not served in the premises, but there is a coffee machine by the reception.

Location, location, location. Perfect for seeing the Uffizi art gallery, the Duomo, the river. The staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly offering us a hot drink on arrival and pointing out places to visit in Florence. Loved the kettle and fridge in the room and the newly installed shower room.

We found it tricky to find. As pensioners the flights of stairs were a challenge after a day of walking around but we clearly knew that beforehand.

The hotel room was modern, compact, and clean. It has a comfortable bed and an amazing great shower. It's in a superb location, close to everything, and roughly a 10-minute walk to SMN train station, and the location was quiet.

The air-conditioning worked well. However, it did make a constant small noise, which we mentioned to them, and the bathroom door did not shut properly. But overall, these were only minor issues.

The accommodation is very conveniently located in the heart of Florence and near many nice restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helped us with our bags and let us store them as well. The room had the essentials and we had a comfortable sleep.

Our room was on level 3 and there is no lift so it was a difficult carrying our heavy suitcases up and down. The room is on the small side as well.

The host who greeted us was extremely helpful providing us with a map and setting out the main attractions with great attentiveness. This brought us to some places only a local would know so was much appreciated. The room was basic, as per photos and clean - just what is needed. The location is very good, being extremely close to all the main attractions.

Friendly staff and clean room with comfortable beds and pillows. The place is easy to find and a 12 minute walk from the train station. Great location as its close to the ponte vechio & duomo.

The bathroom smelled of sewerage everytime you open the sink or shower but that’s most places in Italy. There were a ton of stairs and no elevator but the staff took our bags up for us.

Staff was helpful they let us in the room before the check in time. They made us coffee while the receptionist was doing the final document collection and copy. I asked for them to organise a taxi for the morning we were going and they did organise all that for me without any problems. The both receptionist were friendly and they always greeted us going out and coming back in. They also asked me if we are ok with everything and were happy to hear our feedback .

Balcony

The location was so perfect for every activity in Florence. The staff were exceptional. Andre at the front desk carried my excessively heavy suitcase up the stairs. The shower was small, but my favorite thing the room.

The only thing is that they don't have an elevator, which they warn you about ahead of time, but this is the only thing they need.

The two gentlemen (I assume the owner and the manager) at the front desk were great. They offered us coffee and water when we walked in. Offered to help with carrying the bags. Have a map with the attractions marked. The room and the bath was good. We were able to store bags for free after check out, so that we could explore the city before leaving in the evening.
