The room was spacious and clean. The bathtub was large enough to fit a 6'3 man in it and the air-conditioning/being able to open large windows made it easy to stay cool and comfortable. The location is fantastic. A short walk to everywhere you want. The bed is very comfortable and the room is very dark at night (a plus for light sleepers like me!). The pillows are of good quality also. Note that the address that booking.com gives you is actually half a block away from the actual door, however Franco will send you the proper address nearer the time.

This is the very top floor with no lift. There are no amenities in this hotel. Just a Nespresso machine in the lobby area. Our bedroom was facing right to the main check in desk about 10 feet away which felt a bit... Less private? I'm not sure how thick the walls are but it was something we were aware of.

Beautiful suite apartment in an amazing location right in the heart of Florence. Franco, the host, went above and beyond in his hospitality, he was exceptionally kind from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The apartment itself was stunning, with high ceilings and elegant décor. We will definitely stay here again on a future trip to Florence!

Traveling with a baby, an elevator would have been a nice bonus, but certainly not a dealbreaker, we truly enjoyed our stay

Located in the centre near the river. A short walk to the Pontevecchio, restaurants, museums, Cathedral duomo, Uffizi Gallery and more. Very comfortable room and shared lounge area. Easy self check in and out. Host, Franco, very helpful. Bus stop just outside with frequent buses to the train station. Great coffee/sandwich/pastry shop a few doors away for breakfast.

Carrying a heavy case up the 75 steps to Reception was a bit of a challenge but worth the effort!

The livingroom-like entrance is very stylish and cozy. For individuals who prefer to smoke and sip coffee in the morning, there is a tiny balcony as well. The room I stayed in was upstairs, and it had a built-in window and was spacious and bright.

When you arrive, it is a little bit difficult to find the apartment and get into the building since there is no sign, just the name on the doorbell. There are no elevators in the guesthouse, so it is a challenge to carry all the suitcases up three floors of stairs.

Exceptional all round - beautiful room and so central. You really get to experience Florence from a luxury angle. We both loved the size of the room and amenities, sitting on the balcony drinking local wine was one of my highlights! Franco is a fantastic host - he gave us such great recommendations and I love the way he’s styled the rooms. Will be back!

Nothing - was perfect.

The location was perfect. The room is spacious and very comfortable. The common room downstairs has a balcony and sitting area. There was coffee available all the time and tea and a kettle in the room. The bathroom was a good size with a tub. It’s self entry so easy to get in and out with the key box. The owner is friendly.

Just a note there are a lot of stairs to go up and down.

We had a wonderful stay with Franco at Capri Moon House. It was fantastic location in that it is close walking distance to many of the key sites, including Duomo and river as well as lots of a great shops and places to eat. Franco was super communicative and helpful and helped us with our very heavy bags!

It is a beautiful and authentic guest house. The room was beautifully decorated, large and very comfortable. Perfectly clean. The situation is perfect: a few minutes from the train station, the river and the main attractions. The owner was welcoming and very helpful. I highly recommend for a trip to Florence.

Not a problem for me, but be aware that you need to take stairs to the third floor.

TONS OF STAIRS. Get ready for tons of stairs, it was extremely hard for us with the luggage. If we put that aside, it is a great place, with good facilities. I overall had a great time. It was unfortunate that the owner asked us to check out at 11:00, we waited outside until 13:30 and nobody came, we could still enjoy the room until our flight. But still great hosting.

Excellent from start to finish - the owner Franco could not have been welcoming and helpful. It was a super place to stay so close to all the main central parts of the City. We would recommend it to anyone who wish to stay in a stylish 'room' with so much to offer.

Apart from the stairs: we are in our late fifties, the place is perfect.
