This hotel is very well located near the boat station and within walking distance to the beach. Everything was clean, sheets and towels were changed twice during our stay, room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. It was quiet at night, no curfew, and we liked the restaurant downstairs. We loved having a kettle and mini fridge in the room and the aircon worked well. The staff is very nice and friendly, Estella greeted us warmly on arrival and was very helpful in answering our questions. The breakfast was served in the beautiful restaurant area and had great variety of delicious foods and drinks. Mirela went to great lengths to make sure all guests were well looked after. We would definitely stay here again and recommend. Grazie!

We had a great stay! The staff was excellent, receptionists, breakfast team, and even the cleaning staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had to work from the room a few times, but the housekeeping was very flexible and kind when they came to clean. The breakfast was amazing, lots of variety, overall I’d give it a 10/10! The location is also good. If you want to go to the free beach, it’s either a short bus ride or about a 15–20 minute walk, which was no problem for us. There are closer beaches too, but those charge for sunbeds and umbrellas.

We absolutely loved our stay at the New Reiter Hotel on Lido. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself was very clean, peaceful, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight each morning – a lovely continental spread with both warm and cold options, fresh fruit, pastries, a coffee machine, and a selection of juices. Our room was spacious, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Venice. The hotel is accessible 24 hours a day, with staff always available at the front desk, which added to the sense of security and convenience. The location is fantastic – just a 5-minute walk to the water taxi stop that connects Lido to Venice and the airport. It’s also close to a great variety of restaurants, bars, and other local amenities, yet remains wonderfully quiet and relaxing. We were very happy with our stay and would certainly choose the New Reiter Hotel again on our next visit to Venice.

The only minor issue was that it wasn't immediately clear how to adjust the temperature in the room. That said, the staff were so helpful and attentive that I'm sure it could have been easily resolved if we had asked.

It was a bit noisy until around 23:00–23:30 due to a restaurant located right below the balcony. There were also a few mosquitoes in the room, but the staff mentioned they could provide something for that if requested — so be sure to ask in advance. Everything else was great: the staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean. The woman who serves breakfast was incredibly kind 🤍. The location is perfect — supermarkets and restaurants are nearby, and both the vaporetto station and the beach are just a 7–10 minute walk away 🏖️.

Room decor was stylish and elegant. Furnishings were all opulant and impressive such as marble floors, Murano glass chandeliers, TV discreetly hidden behind an ornate golden mirror and bidet! USB charging ports by the bed were a godsend as we had forgotten our Italian plug adapters and wouldn't have been able to charge our phones after our late arrival. Shower was powerful and heated quickly. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning / heater work impressively quickly to heat the room. During our entire stay we didn't hear any sounds from other rooms. Location was ideal. 5 minute walk to the water buses with quick access to the other islands. 5 mins the other direction lead to a beautiful secluded beach adjoining the adriatic sea. On the promenade, metres away from the hotel were various restaurants, cafés, bars and convenience stores. Very useful to have access to everything so close. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. More than happy to accommodate a flexible late check-in time. They were attentive to all our needs and eager to enquire about any difficulties or issues so that they could rectify them. They encouraged us to make use of the speciality coffee machine in the comfortable foyer which was delightful. After a long day exploring the labyrinth of Venician alleys it was a pleasure to make use of the lift/elevator facilities up to the second floor! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would absolutely recommend to others and fully intend to return.

Location is superb, staff very friendly the restaurant there is fantastic! Rooms were very spacious and clean and we had a view over the main street which was nice.

Pillow was very hard for my partner, next time we will take our own I guess. The shower was temperamental with its temperate ranging from very hot to cold at random times but we think this may have been due to other people using their facilities at the same time?

Perfect choice in Lido to explore Venice. A welcome escape from central Venice. Bedrooms much bigger than those in most hotels near St Mark’s. Outstanding value. Housekeeping first class. Hotel restaurant very good too.

Regulation of water temperature of shower was challenging - temperature switched from very hot to cold without warning.

I would like to mention 2 exceptional workers of this hotel. The first one was the night receptionist called Vital and the second one was Mirela, the breakfast waitress , I personally think that these 2 people make this place exceptional and should be recognise as such... thank you so much and I hope owners or managers give them the recognition they deserve.

A great location - Lido is much more comfortable to stay compared to the main land. Much quieter and cheaper overall. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got our room 3 hours earlier and were given some pastries on top. The hotel building is quite comfortable and clean. Finally, the room was very nice with a comfy bed.

Everything was good.

Great choice of breakfast and you couldn't fault the location. It's conveniently placed in between the Vaporetto stop and the beach - Perfect. We also enjoyed a great evening meal for which we were given a 10% discount as staying guests. The staff were great. Junior was particularly helpful on the last day.

Only small niggle, but the in room Tea/coffee could have been topped up and milk to be provided. More UK channels too. But very minor things - didn't ruin our stay in any way.
