Good location a few minutes walk to the water bus stops. About a 20 minute walk to the free beach. Great buffet breakfast with lovely outside dining area

The room and furnishings were a bit old fashioned and tired for the price we paid, but not a big issue.

- Good breakfast with bread rolls, fruit, jam, cheese, and salami + the typical Italian breakfast foods, also a coffee machine with different drinks (or having it made at the bar). - Nice terrace / garden to have breakfast. - The room has air conditioning and a mini fridge to store some drinks and other promotions - The location is great, 5 minutes to the Lido vaporetto stop to go to anywherein Venice or other Islands - 5 minutes to several bars and restaurants, 10 minutes to a supermarket or the beach and the adriatic sea

A lovely Hotel in a perfect position on the Lido. Take a water bus from the Airport, it’s takes roughly an hour, the hotel is a 10 min walk in a tranquil road. Everything is to hand shops restaurants and the beach. Pop into Venice city and surrounding islands, or take a bus up and down the Lido. The Hotel is exceptionally clean, bedding cool cotton, AC is great, having a lift is useful after a day sightseeing,breakfast varied and plentiful, with good coffee. We have just returned from our 3rd visit to the Rigel, very happy.

The location of the hotel was great. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Most of the staff were great. We had a lovely large room with a balcony, which was a great addition. The room and hotel were quiet despite being close to the local bars and restaurants

One of the breakfast staff had a strange attitude and was a bit rude to another member of staff, which seemed unprofessional. Some of the mornings it took a while for the breakfast items to be replenished. Only one glass in the room

That was not my first (nor second or third...) stay there, and what Rigel could offer is - moderate price when more central and more upscale hotels already doubled or trippled price for high season. So plan 6...8 nights stay, buy 7days vaporetto pass at 65 euro, and here we are! In the Venice at half price, with unlimited rides on vaporettos outside of peak hours. Generous breakfast with lot of vegan options, including almonds walnuts sunflower, as well as cheeses and prosciottos (not upscale quality, but hey you got A LOT for price paid) My next recommendations are: - go for S.Giorgio island, for visit Fondazione Giorgio Cini (check their schedule in advance its not daily; its in my top3 "pay-per-vislt" in Venice, roof of the SsnMarco basilique and gallery of the Accademy are other two) and/or for great coffee corretto with THE VIEW in local cafe. Alcohol is overpriced there but sandwiches very good, chiccetti presented at michelin-level, and coffee at the bar is very goid and cheap - avoid one-day-tourists routes and schedule. For example vaporetto route 1 from Lido all the way along Giardini, SanMarco and GrandCanal is beatiful experience after 19pm or at the sunruse, but can be horrible in the middle of weekend days - don't look for fine dining on Lido, it sumply not exists. For drink in style go to bar ofvExcelciour hotel, for food which justify 100 euro / person tag check renowed resraraunts on Burano (advance reservations like 2 months before recommended!)

Its not hotel for honeymoon or important celebration, and rooms could benefit from small fixes. For example, one spring was out of masse in old mattress in 301 and small nail was waiting for knitwear victims at the side of the chair in same 301. Also coffee from small machine was terrible for my taste (some german mass market brand of beans?), but special thanks to nice peoples who cared about breakfast room, it was possible to get espresso or capucino from bar machine

The room was comfortable and very pretty in the old-fashioned Venetian style. The balcony was pretty and having a proper even if small fridge in the room was very useful, much more so than the fully stacked minibar fridge you usually get. The breakfast had a good variety of foods, both savory and sweet, and it was lovely to have your tasty morning coffee in the pretty garden. Cheers to the friendly breakfast staff who kept everything running smoothly. The hotel is on a quiet street and still close to everything. A 5-minute walk to the Vaporetto and Aligalaguna stops, a lot of restaurants nearby, and a 10-minute walk to the nearest beach Bluemoon (recommend). Not everything was perfect but would definitely stay here again. We rented bikes from the hotel (5€/half day, 10€/full day), they're not fancy but you really don't need anything special, it's all flat there and the traffic is not bad so it's really easy cycling. Very nice to be able to pick up the bike right at the hotel and go see the island outside of the touristy center.

Just minor issues. The air conditioning felt pretty noisy at night, and it was a bit tricky to adjust to a comfortable temperature for the night: at 24 degrees it blasted cold air on you and at 25 it got too warm and stuffy. Still, it was efficient and in hot weather a cool room is much appreciated! The shower was also a little tricky, there was no warm water at times, maybe everyone took a shower around the same and they just ran out. The beds were comfy enough, although the mattresses could use an update. The shower in a bath tub would have been difficult/impossible for someone with any mobility issues. There was an elevator in the building, worked fine but it was rather claustrophobic so we mostly got some exercise in the stairs!

The hotel has a great location – just a 10-minute walk from the pier, tucked away on a quiet street. Our room was very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a lovely balcony equipped with a table and chairs – perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, with both sweet and savory options, and the coffee was outstanding. There’s also a nice terrace where you can enjoy your meal outdoors. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

Perfect location! One can hear neighbours coming and going quite well, but surroundings are quiet. I had a very good night sleep.

Premises have seen better days, but I suppose quite reasonable price is exactly because of that. My room vas very clean. A bit nervous atmosphere during breakfasts. Not sure if it's because managment's attitude or individual personalities.

The location on Lido is great - close to the waterbus station and on a quiet, tree-lined street. The silence of the street was appreciated! I had no issues getting to and from Venice. The hotel itself has a lovely garden and the bones of a good space. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet was generous and tasty. Rooms have A/C and a mini fridge, with light-blocking curtains.

The room I stayed in had many signs of wear and tear, and the bed itself was pretty uncomfortable. I found all pillows in Italy to be uniform hard slabs so that's not unique to this hotel, but the mattress was definitely in need of replacement.

The hotel is located on a quiet street. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Very good location, a short walk away from the harbor, from where you could quickly get to Venice and other places. The beach, where you could rent sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels, was also within walking distance.

The price was a bit high for a hotel of this category (which is common in this area). The hotel does not have a restaurant. Although there are several dining options nearby, one evening there was heavy rain and thunderstorm, and we didn't feel like going out. The breakfast was good, offering both savory and sweet options, but the quality of some fruits left something to be desired. For example, the kiwis offered were completely underripe (hard and sour). Additionally, the same items were offered every day, and we would have expected a bit more variety.
