The property is in a peaceful location but a short walk to the main street with a few shops and good/ reasonable priced restaurants. It is just a 5 minute walk to the boat stop to go into Venice and to the airport. We loved the peace of Lido after a busy day in Venice! The hosts were so welcoming and made it extra special (we had just got engaged). The hotel is perfectly clean, the beds comfortable and the facilities great. Breakfast was a wide selection but our favourite was the coffee - delicious! Nothing was too much trouble and we had such a lovely time. We definitely recommend Villa Casanova.

Wonderful hotel on the less busy island Lido in Venice. Perfect for a family stay, with just a few minutes walk to the Vaporetto (boat buses) to central vencie and Burano/Murano, and maybe 10 minutes slow walk to the free public beach. The breakfast buffe was amazing, and the staff was very accomodating, professional and could find solutions to all our questions (luggage storage for the last day after checkout and print train tickets was no problem at all). Lots of restaurants close by, and located at a very calm street. Will most definitely return!

Room was a good size, air-conditioning worked well. Very handy for the vaporetto into piazza san marco. Loads of nice eating options and being on lido had a really different vibe to venice itself, everything felt more relaxed

We were in room 1 which was right beside the breakfast room so it was a little noisy each morning from around 7ish even though breakfast wasn't till 8 but apart from that it was a really quiet hotel and I sleep really well. Breakfast was fine, nothing amazing but equally nothing wrong with it

Centrally located on Lido de Venezia/ to main ferry service and main shopping street. Friendly welcome. Nice BnB house, cute and detailled furnished room on the top floor. Awesome breakfast (thank you for the great coffee service!), best I had in Italy. Snacks and hot water available outside breakfast times. Little garden / terrace to take you breakfast or drink a coffee in front of the house.

Wifi/ Internet on top floor was not very stable. No heating, so the room felt quite cold in late evening/night (beginning of November).

Lovely hotel in a quiet area with facilities nearby. Close to water bus. Hotel staff were amazing and helped us find our way around Venice. Very friendly and would definitely return again.. Lovely breakfast, and we were allowed to make a hot drink when staff had gone home later at night. They even left some lovely pastries out, very thankful after a late night flight!. Instructions were clear for getting to the hotel and gaining entry to room and hotel as we arrived late at night after staff had gone home. Took us 10 minutes to walk from the water bus to Villa Casanova.. We had a room with a balcony and it was a great size room, little fridge in the room and everything you could need, hairdryer ect. We had a lovely stay, and this was down to the well run hotel, including the cleaners who kept the rooms clean. Everything was perfect 👌

Nothing, I can't find anything I did not like. The only suggestion I can think of is a bin in the room to throw rubbish away as the bin the bathroom was too small for rubbish.

The most wonderful of staff. Comfortable room with great shower. The breakfast selection was varied and beautifully prepared. Alessandro’s coffee was delicious. Villa Casanova was in an ideal location a short walk from the water taxi/bus station. Easy reach to Venice and perfect for island hopping around the lagoon. Very comfortable - the weather was unusually cold during my stay and they put the heating on to keep the rooms warm which was really appreciated . Gluten free options for breakfast including rice cakes, soft cheese, mozzarella, tomatoes, cheeses, meats, yogurt, fruit etc. The fresh pastries looked amazing

Everything was good. Very friendly and helping staff. Nice breakfast and coffee. The location is good if you don’t like the tourist rush but take some extra expenses on boats and etc into your consideration to travel to Venice

Everything was nice, coffee could have been for free the whole day not only at breakfast time, but that’s rather a suggestion than a disadvantage

Villa Casanova was amazing, beautiful, super clean, breakfast was perfect and the location great. The owners and all the stuff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. My son and I had such a special time there — truly unforgettable. A place to be and a place we would love to return to. Thanks a lot!

Communication from the hotel was excellent on how to reach the hotel. Very good location on a quiet road on the Lido, 5 minutes from main water bus station making it very easy to get to with direct boat services to/from airport and train station. Very easy to get to the main Venice sites and other islands such as Murano. 5 minute walk to shops and good selection of restaurants. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and they made it a very pleasant stay in a relaxed enjoyable environment. Good room with clean modern bathroom. Good selection at breakfast with seating inside and out.

The room was a good size as was the bed, the breakfast was very good, with teas, great coffee and fresh pastries along with the cereals, fruits yoghuts, meats and cheeses. Nice covered outdoor area to eat breakfast. A quiet area but very convenient to the center, the water taxis and the beach. Bicycles available and adequate. Rooms were made up and cleaned daily. Very helpful staff, and we were provided with a map of recomendations for food, water taxis and beaches.

We learnt to close the shutters at night as the noises from outside carried, but it was mainly the quite noisy scops owl. Somewhere to dry beach towels and swimwear would have been useful. The window ledges were very dusty and the bath overflow could have done with a good clean.
