Amazing hotel, stunning exterior and a classy modern internal design. We stayed 3 nights with breakfast included. We recieved a warm welcome around midnight after a delayed flight and found the staff to be available for anything we needed during our stay. Ivan was a particularly stand out, checking we were satisfied, answering questions and he helped plan our day at the beach club 'Des Bains'. Breakfast was exceptional, the pool area a real treat with cocktails and snacks served throughout the day. A must-try is the honey mustard chutney served with the cheese selection. Lido itself is a perfect in between , take a bike ride to the light house, a walk through the stunning streets along the canal or spend time at the beach. Later on, there are bars which are lively too. Venice itself is a 10-15min boat trip, master the routes and you'll see more during your stay. We would stay at the hotel again whithout doubt.

Coffee machine wasn't working

The room was exactly as on the website, very stylish and impeccably clean and well maintained. The spacious, glass walled bathroom is quite a feature. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature and the pool & bar attendant was very friendly and attentive. The views from the rooftop bar are amazing; you can see as far as St Mark's Square over the lagoon. I also loved the bar/restaurant on the terrace at the front of the hotel. The location of this hotel is perfect, half way from the vaporetto (water bus) and the beach. Opposite there are lots of bars, cafés and restaurants and a nice resort atmosphere out on the street. I don’t often return to places, as there is so much more of the world to see. However, I shall make an exception for this hotel.

I can't imagine anyone disliking anything about this hotel. If you want understated 5 star luxury - this is your place. I just hope that there will be some good deals going on price in the future!

What an amazing hotel, steeped in history. The staff are excellent and the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Our room looked out over the front of the property, was large and very comfortable with lovely furniture. It has a great location, just a few minutes walk from the Lido water bus terminal, and a few minutes from the beach on the other side. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our only complaint is that we were told that there were no more pancakes available, and this was at 9:30am, an hour and a half before the breakfast service officially ended.

I have never experienced such a breakfast. Each of the guests was given a 'basic breakfast' right on the table; so sliced ​​fruit, a small slice of cheese and salami, some morning biscuits, water, and then of course food according to the breakfast menu. Excellent! Everything was served, taken away, available. The food on the roof of the hotel in the 28.5 restaurant was the best I have ever tasted. And believe me, I dine several times a week in restaurants that have a recommendation or a Michelin star. This restaurant is by far the top.

There were a lot of us by the pool who would have had a cocktail or two, but there were not enough staff and they didn't serve.

Beautiful property, spotless clean rooms, very comfy beds, very powerful shower, all staff very friendly, lovely pool although we were unlucky with the weather, great cocktails in the bar. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, short walk to the beach on one side and water bus on the other side. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when we return to Venice.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was perfect.

Beautiful inside and out! The staff is awesome. You are treated really well. Breakfast is prepared how you like it. They bring you fresh fruit, meat and cheese plate, and various breads. I’m very picky and it makes me feel bad when I don’t eat what was provided. I learned you can request what they provide which made me very happy.

There was no AC! We were pretty warm trying to sleep was difficult. We opened up the windows which allowed mosquitoes in because there were no screens and received a few bites on top of it. We asked if they would let us have AC and we’re told it’s against the law at certain times of the year. The shower leaked water out and asked for it to be fixed. They did come to fix it but it still leaked.

Breakfast was great; staff was warm and friendly

at times, the staff was not present by the pool and there were no towels; and the ability to have a drink on the roof was limited by dinner reservations.

We travelled as a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They put us at ease even though our children can be a bit loud and boisterous at time. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was perfect for us as it is so well placed for sight seeing and nearby activities but has the convenience of the well-maintained swimming pool. The hotel location is excellent, particularly if you are travelling with children, plenty of restaurants, gelato shops and a small arcade nearby. Our children loved it and are asking to go back next year. Breakfast is outstanding as is house-keeping and standards in the hotel

Nothing, we loved every aspect of the hotel

Staff were as helpful as they could be in the circumstances. The hotel was equal distance between the beach and public transport. Apart from the bathrooms the hotel accommodation was very comfortable.

Anyone staying here need to know there is no privacy in the toilet or the shower. The bathroom walls were glass! I had a room with my two grown up granddaughters. I felt because of the bathroom layout and my age (76) I needed more privacy so I had the added expense of paying for another single occupancy room.
