Location was superb, we had 6 of our adult children with us. So having the beach plus the culture of Venice suited everyone. The relaxed atmosphere of the Lido was fantastic to come back to after a tourist filled day in Venice.

It wasn't very clear which beaches you paid for and which were free. A little map would have been good - the free beach was quite a walk. The policing of the beach does not make for a good atmosphere.

Rich and tasty breakfast, lovingly furnished interior, very kind and acommodating hosts who shared with us their extensive knowledge of the area and its history. A peaceful place close to the ocean, away from the hustle and bustle of venice city, but still within easy reach by Vaporetto... we were very happy!

It was a privilege to stay in this beautiful building with such pleasant and interesting hosts. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with everything we needed. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom was bright and spacious, the fridge, kettle etc. were homely and access to the roof terrace was a very special opportunity; we enjoyed the 360 degree view and a peaceful, private sunset. The proximity of the beach for a quick swim at the end of the day was also great, as was the garden area and secure bike parking. The breakfasts were large, freshly made and delicious, and we enjoyed meeting our hosts and their sweet-natured golden retriever. It would have been interesting to hear more about Gabriella's archaeobotany work and Andreas's experience of growing up on Lido. The neighbourhood was quiet, clean and leafy with other attractive buildings, though none seemed as distinctive as this one. It was a short and pleasant walk to streets with bars, restaurants, gelaterias and the SME vaporetto stop.

The villa itself is stunning, the apartment was very beautiful, large, comfortable, clean, and it had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave. The dog was very sweet, I wish we saw her more :)  parking was super easy right on the street. About 10 minutes walk to the vaporetto to get to the center, so you’re close to everything and even closer to the Biennale.  We got fish at the local market and we were able to bake it at home, which was excellent. You are two minutes away from the beach. The weather was warm. We were even able to swim, it wasn’t too cold.  it was very nice and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had kitchen towels, dishwasher with dish tablets, and salt and some sugar, Nespresso machine, so you could bring or buy some spices if you plan to cook. Make sure you make it to the terrace on the roof, it’s such beautiful view ❤️ Thanks to Alessandra, the host, we got on the correct ferry that carries cars, the one from Tronchetto not Punta Sabbioni.

Beautiful traditional Venice Villa, managed by owner occupiers who are friendly, responsive and supportive. The Villa has a great family atmosphere and is located fairly centrally in the Venice Lido within a 15 minute walk of a shopping and restaurant area.

As with everything in Venice, the Villa accommodation is expensive relative to other places we have stayed with a similar level of comfort and facilities.

We had a lovely stay! The breakfast was good, although a bit on the simple side. However, the warm and cozy atmosphere more than made up for it. The highlight was definitely the view from the terrace, which was simply breathtaking. Stefano was a fantastic host, providing great tips on how to navigate Venice and use the transport system. It was the perfect place for a quick getaway, allowing us to make the most of our short time in the city.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Gabriella a lot. The apartment is big, clean, well equipped and nicely decorated (Venetian villa style) with beautiful paintings. It's very close to the beach and a bus stop. We particularly appreciate the warm welcome of the host that came to pick us up at the vaporetto station. Ideal place for families.

This is a wonderful historic villa in a great location and with wonderful hosts - we cannot recommend enough to anyone wanting to visit Venice and other islands in the lagoon while also having the opportunity to add in a few days beach holiday. A 15min walk from the vaporetto stop at SME and a short walk from the main areas with cafes, restraints and shops - v well located. Thank you Alessandra for your kindness and warm welcome.

Great location. Fabulous building and right next to the beach. The roof terrace was perfect spot for breakfast, fabulous views all round. Alessandra the host was very friendly. Top floor room, was small but comfortable. Would definitely return. Venice Lido is so peaceful.

An earlier check in would have been helpful, we feel 5pm is very late when you have an early flight.

Amazing location for beach, 10 mins maximum walk to water bus stop, close to restaurants and bars. Alessandra was amazing and very accommodating, she helped us with some lovely breakfasts up on the amazing balcony. Whilst being a b&b this feels like you are at their home and they do a great job of welcoming you into it.

The balcony terrace is only accessible for people with good mobility but well worth it if you can.
