We stayed for 4 nights in April and the weather was most of the time horrible, but you can imagine how beautiful this island is in summer time. The hotel is at a 5 minute walking distance to the beach, it is also only 2 bus stops to the vaporetto stops and the center. We visited the main island every day and had no trouble at all with transportation. The rooms are quite old-school but yet very comfortable and receive a good amount of sunlight. A nice continental breakfast is served for 15€, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would choose this hotel if I get to visit Venice again.

It was a wonderful stay at the La Meridiane Hotel The location was really great, 5 minutes from the beach and 15 from the ferry dock, the main street and the shops. The administrator provided a room that was bigger and better than the one I had paid for. The hotel is very clean and cozy. It has a beautiful garden where a wonderful delicious and varied breakfast is served every morning. The atmosphere is relaxing at every step, starting from the entrance. The hotel staff are very nice, helpful and friendly, at the first request rushing to help and doing everything very quickly. The room was cleaned every day at a convenient time for me, while I was on the beach. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bed linen is very beautiful! Everything was excellent! Special thanks to the hotel employee, unfortunately I did not remember his name, who within half an hour installed me a new safe, instead of the non-functioning one, and told me about the city's public and private beaches. Special thanks to the administrator, Stella, who was able to convince me that a trip to Venice by vaporetto would not be too difficult, and it only took 15 minutes to reach San Marco Square! My stay at La Meridiane Hotel was an unforgettable experience! I will definitely come back!

An unforgettable stay at Hotel La Meridiana – Lido di Venezia We spent four wonderful nights at Hotel La Meridiana, a charming and tastefully decorated hotel just steps away from the beach, in a quiet and green area of Lido di Venezia. The vaporetto stop to Saint Mark’s Square is also nearby, making the location ideal. The breakfast was rich, varied, and absolutely delicious — served outdoors in the lovely garden, it was the perfect way to start each day. Upon our arrival, we were touched to find a beautiful surprise waiting in our room: a chilled bottle of prosecco, three delicious small cakes, and a postcard with a photo of the hotel — a thoughtful gesture from the staff to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was a heartwarming moment we’ll never forget. The staff were extremely welcoming, kind, and always ready to help. Throughout our stay, we truly felt cared for and appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel La Meridiana to anyone looking for elegance, tranquility, and a perfect base to explore Venice while enjoying the unique charm of Lido.

Everything was perfect!

This hotel is beautiful! The ambience as soon as you walk through the gates is relaxing, charming, and wonderful. The rooms are very beautiful with a vintage type feel. The cicadas were a little loud but it wasn't bothersome enough to alter our views on the stay. We were walking distance to bus stops and beaches which was very convenient because we didn't want to move our car once parked. There were lots of free street parking options all around the island but once we found a spot close to the hotel, we didn't move the car. The beach just down the street from the hotel was quite expensive so we hopped on the bus and it took us down to one of the free beaches that was on the north end of the island and used an umbrella and beach towels from the hotel (not sure if they still do this). I totally recommend getting the Venezia Unica pass because it made transportation around the lido so much easier. The staff and the people were so kind and gave us recommendations on where to eat and things to do. There is an elevator that was very small but very helpful for my grandparents. Staying on the island was a highlight of our trip and the hotel had a lot to do with that! We would definitely stay here again :) Tip: the AC wasn't very cold when we got there but once we spoke with the staff, they were able to "unlock" the thermostat and lower the temperature to be more comfortable. They said all we needed to do was ask :)

Included breakfast would have made this stay perfect but there are enough breakfast options in town that it wasn't a major problem. You can add breakfast for 16euro per person/per day but we wan't to do it cheaper

Our room was clean and serviced daily. The balcony looked out over the garden which was a bonus. The bed was large but the mattress was too hard for us, though we accept this is subjective. The breakfast was good and varied and it was lovely to be able to sit outside to eat. The standout thing about the hotel though was the service, which was excellent and the staff who were so kind and helpful and brought me a surprise on my birthday!

The shower was dreadful - not only was the water pressure very poor, but the shower head and hose were not clean.

A wonderful stay! The hotel has an incredible atmosphere with a truly Italian style that immediately puts you in a holiday mood. The staff is extremely friendly – always smiling, helpful, and kind, making sure guests feel comfortable at every step. You can really feel that guest satisfaction is their top priority. The whole stay was full of positive experiences, and the hotel’s atmosphere makes you want to come back. I highly recommend it!

Monotonous breakfast, the same every day. No daily towel change.

This hotel was fantastic. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was huge with a large terrace. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was terrific and a good price - with lots of food to choose from. The location was beautiful - only a 10 minute walk alongside the canal to the Vaporetta and port and 2 minutes to the beach. We enjoyed sightseeing all day in Venice and escaping home to Lido, a quieter and more relaxed place, at the end of the day. The waterbus home at sunset was a highlight. Highly recommended.

everything was just perfect. no complaints

The outside of the property was very pretty. The indoor decor had a classic look. The location was a short walk to the beach and easily walkable to the center of town. We also utilized the bus system once we figured it out. Our room was spacious and clean. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of food and Tipa, who bused the tables, was very sweet & friendly. We ate in the garden which was beautiful. Claudia, at the front desk was super helpful in answering the many questions we had.

Being that it was our first time in Venice (for a short stay), we felt a bit too removed from the heart of Venice. It took us time to get to the places we wanted to go. Learning the bus & water bus system was challenging & we often felt misguided with directions.

I booked a single room, but when I arrived I was told that I have been upgraded to a double room, free of charge. That was a first nice surprise about this hotel. I liked the old fashioned design of this place, which gave me a feeling of travelling in time, back to days when opulent style was in fashion. My stay was very comfortable. This is a very quiet place, conveniently located close to Lido centre and ferry. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
