Loved the design and decor. Super clean. Breakfast buffet was great since it had both European and American breakfast options (ie eggs, bacon, sausage, etc). Loved the beach section close to the hotel and location.

The hotel does not have its own beach access or discounts although very close to the beach. Beach facilities are full/public price. The hotel will reserve a spot for guests day of at the full public rate but paid only in cash (if you book on the beach directly you can pay by credit card and ahead of time). If you plan on going to the beach area near the hotel the rate per day is 100 - 150 £/euro per day this summer

Plenty of mosquitoes. No window nets. Room place is quite small for 3 people. The beach is not free. You have to pay 85 euros per day. The public beach is 1 km far from the hotel.

In warm Venice you find this oasis in green with this charming quaint building. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was basic but clean. The restaurant on site was very good and a nice outside eating. Staff was very kind and helpful. You can reach lido by carferry and you can park in the streets around the hotel, the hotelparking was full when I was there.

Don’t fall for the touristtrap of the free boatride to the glasfactory in Murano, I fell for it the second time and was dropped of at the same place. A glassblower shows his skills than you’re lead into a shop where it’s very hard not to buy anything. When you than take a walk on the isle of Murano you see the same things but cheaper. The glassfactory tried to prevent us going there by insisting on a boatride to burano or to the lighthouse of Murano. Just buy a public transport pass that allows you to take busses and the waterbusses to travel around. On Lido close to the hotel there’s a busstop that brings you to the main waterbus stop. It is very enjoyable using this mode of transport to get around in Venice and surrounding isles. Murano and Burano are certainly worth a visit too!

Family-owned hotel with exceptional history and atmosphere. You have the feeling that time stops there, but in a very good sense. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The beach is practically next to the hotel. Even if the hotel looks a bit outdated, it is very well maintained and super clean. Totaly recommended and worth of regular visit :-).

Location is excellent as it is easy to get a water us to the main entice city attractions and come back to the beautiful Lido island. Wonderful Adriatic Sea on doorstep. All staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Lovely hotel garden to relax. Very varied breakfasts available which set us up for the day. This hotel experience simply made our Venice experience one that we will never forget. We could not recommend it highly enough.

Phantastic atmosphere at the hotel including the nice bar and also around - rooms stylish in the old style - so meeting the expectations from the pictures

Bathroom very old style and not comfortable - hairdryer very simple and not working properly - instead of separating the toilet, only the washing area was separated - bath tube with shower-curtain not covering all - everything very old left in a not very nice style instead of making it more fancy fitting to the rest - breakfast was very basic and a fair quality

Beautiful characterful property, gorgeous gardens and the staff could have not been more helpful and professional. Breakfast was great and it was like staying in a little haven. Air conditioning was most appreciated which is not always possible in such a historic building.

Only slight thing, the shower glass protector was not functional. Did not stop any water seeping out to the floor with no drainage. It is a beautifully preserved old property so this was easily forgiven.

It was so beautiful! It was like a botanical garden with a pond and amazing landscaping. Roses everywhere!! We loved being able to go to the beach and collect shells!

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and I hate to say it was now very appetizing and WAY overpriced. If you eat there check out the menu first. Breakfast was very good.

The location was perfect to escape from the crowded Venice; spacious room; garden with trees; excellent service

The refrigerator in our room was not working, but it was fixed very quickly.

Absolutely gorgeous and authentic hotel in the middle of Lido, close to the beach and restaurants, outside the tourist paths. Incredibly friendly staff in the restaurant and front desk were happy to talk to all the guests and share interesting information about the hotel's history and Venice. Lovely breakfast!
