Location, comfortable spacious suite

I recently stayed at Rate Duomo Hotel & Apartments and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the Duomo, making it easy to explore the city. My room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of sightseeing. The luggage storage was a definite plus, allowing us to enjoy our last day without the hassle of our bags. Additionally, the receptionist quickly called a taxi for us, and it arrived in a flash, showcasing their excellent service. Overall, I highly recommend Rate Duomo Hotel & Apartments for anyone looking for a great stay in a prime location!

Positives: Location: Fantastic location just steps from Duomo di Milano, making it perfect for exploring the city. However, noise was noticeable at certain hours. Cleanliness: Housekeeping was excellent, and the room was well-maintained. Staff Service: The employees at the hotel were professional and polite throughout my stay. Comfort: The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, providing a great night’s sleep after long days of sightseeing. Negatives: Booking Issue – Important for Direct Bookings: I originally booked directly through the hotel's website at a lower price. However, my booking was canceled unexpectedly due to a credit card issue (my Revolut temporarily blocked the charge for security reasons). The hotel did not provide a 24-hour window, as stated on their email, to update my details before canceling and blamed their system. As a result, I had to fall back on a more expensive Booking.com reservation. Despite reaching out multiple times before my arrival, the hotel ignored my emails and did not offer any compensation or goodwill gesture.

**Outstanding Stay in Paris! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** I recently stayed at west end hotel in Paris, and I must say, my experience exceeded all expectations! The location is perfect—close to all the main attractions, which made exploring the city a breeze. The hotel facilities were top-notch, and I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness throughout the property. My suite was spacious, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. It provided a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. What truly stood out to me was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly, respectful, and always ready to assist with any needs or inquiries I had. Their hospitality added a personal touch to my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend west end hotel to anyone visiting Paris, and I look forward to returning in the future! Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

- The location is great. Very close to the cathedral and the tourist bus, shops, and also many restaurants and supermarkets. - Everything was great—very clean with all the necessary facilities provided. - The breakfast was perfect.

The only thing that could be improved is the third bed. We were three people, and the third bed was a sofa bed. The mattress was very soft. It would be great if the hotel could provide a more comfortable single bed—in that case, I’d say it’s a perfect place to stay. But still, I gave 10 as the rating, as everything else was already great.

We had a few minor issues during our stay. The TV was not connected to the internet, so we couldn’t access services like Netflix. When we raised this with them, they initially said it wasn’t possible to watch Netflix or Apple TV on the TV and that only Italian TV channels were available. We pointed out that their listing on Booking.com stated otherwise. After that, they sent someone to fix the issue, which they could have done from the start. Additionally, our room had a strong odor. When we complained, they moved us to another room, and everything was fine after that.

We stayed in a deluxe king room on 4th floor. Room was very spacious, large and comfortable bed, good size bathroom, lots of cupboards space and a kitchinete. The hotel is well located, 5min walk to Duomo. The reception area is relatively small and seems to be the only “common” area. No bar or restaurant.

Sound insulation from adjacent (connecting) room could be better. Breakfast is very disappointing. Terrible location in a windowless basement and the choice of food is extremely limited and not well presented.

Location is fabulous! three minute walk to the duomo and main shopping area. Room/apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. The hotels greatest asset us undoubtedly their front office staff who are so welcoming, polite and helpful. All other staff members including housekeeping were also very pleasant.

The breakfast is catered for by a partner restaurant next door and whilst the choice of items is fantastic, they seem to be understaffed/disorganised. Several times, there were no plates and/or cutlery available and we had to wait quite some time for coffee.

Great location very close to the Duomo in the centre of Milan. Also very close to the Duomo metro station. Room was able to accommodate 3 people comfortably. Great room facilities including kettle and microwave as well as coffee machine.

Slightly noisy outside from around 4.30am but this isn’t the property’s fault as it was bin collection/ deliveries. This happens with any property located in a city centre. It didn’t bother us too much.

The location was very convenient and close to the duomo and all things a tourist would care about. The hotel was excellent. We have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. Staff were all very nice, friendly, courteous and super helpful. The breakfast was exceptional. The restaurant staff were so great! Rooms were spacious and clean. Our room was “inside” not on the side of street so we had zero noise problems. Had a peaceful good nights rest.
