We loved our three night stay at the Cortese. Our room had a spare bedroom and a small balcony, a great bathroom (hairdryer not attached to wall!) and lots of space. Staff were delightful and kind. The hotel is in a side street with no through traffic, so it was quiet and just a few yards from the main street. Near the University Metro stop. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace; lovely cakes, breads, and cooked specials. and kind serving staff. Excellent coffee. Plenty of restaurants nearby, including Lazarra just off the via Depretis, and a great cafe-trattoria just off to the right, Pomodorino, really good for lunches. Tip: If you're getting the Alibus from the airport (we suggest you do - it's great), get off at the Immacolaterra stop (the one before the final stop at Porto Beverello) and the Cortese is just up from there. Beverello port (for Ischia, Capri, Procida, Amalfi etc) is just a short walk. A perfect little hotel in a wonderful city. Thanks to all.

The location is perfect for walking around town, discovering small streets with amazing food and coffee shops. It's within 5 min walk to the port where you can take the ferry for the islands around and the bus to the airport. The room was clean and spacious. We had a nice balcony with a view. The rooftop terrace had a nice simple breakfast and an amazing view. The staff was very friendly and helpful every time we requested something.

Everything was great, except that it would be nice to have an option to check out later if needed. The terrace could be open longer hours in the evening...

Loved our stay here, location was perfect for us, 5 minute walk to the port where you can get a ferry to the Amalfi Coast, and for the airport bus drop off and pick up. Most restaurants/attractions were a 20 minute walk away. We were able to check in early, the room was a decent size, clean, quiet and a great bathroom. Facilities in the room were great; hairdryer, fridge, iron etc. You get a free drink on check in, we didn't try the breakfast so can't comment, there are so many places around we didn't think it was worthwhile. I'd highly recommed.

If I was being picky I'd say that the roof terrace needs a little TLC, but didn't negatively impact our stay at all.

The room itself was nice. Modern and looked newly done up. I really liked the little kitchenette and the shower was great. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and accommodating.

The building was really run down, wasn't expecting it from the pictures on booking.com. I didn't feel that safe. There was no one there to check you in, the front door was open when we got there at midnight. The windows were wide open as we went up the stairs. I found it all a bit strange.

Booked Cortese for a 1 night stay in Naples as part of a multi-location (Naples, Capri, Amalfi town) family trip (myself, husband, daughters 17 and 12). Building is a traditional design and apartment inside modern with very nice decor and very clean. The sofa bed was very comfy. Enjoyed breakfast on terrace with view across to the sea. Lift was a plus for luggage. 3 ceiling to floor windows in apartment each onto a small balcony - the photo with this review is the view from the bedroom. Close to everything but quiet at night Hotel put us in contact with a taxi pick up from the airport for a reasonable price - this went smoothly. Staff in reception very helpful and able to answer questions on areas of interest. We visited spaccanapoli area which was lovely with the winding roads and rustic buildings, plus we found the maradonna area for my football fan husband and daughter. Good location for the port as we were getting the ferry to Capri next day. Wished we had stayed an additional night as didn’t get to see everything I had wanted to in Naples. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Naples in the future.

Super central location, just down the road from the metro station, and also the port for exploring the nearby islands and even better, the bus to the airport stops here too. The staff were lovely and polite, and all information regarding arrival/check-in was sent the day before via WhatsApp, the little video explaining self-check-in was a nice touch too. We recommend breakfast, starting the day on the roof with a sea view was a great start to the day. Would definitely stay here again. Our room was really quiet too.

The room was very recently renovated, and everything was new; the interior design was neat and cozy. The breakfast offered many freshly made items (make sure you try the croissants and blood orange juice) and the terrace where breakfast is served offers a very nice view of the port.

The elevator was out of order, but should be fixed by now. The area around the hotel is rather questionable, especially from the side of the port; make sure you use the Metro or taxis and only walk around only when you have to.

The property had got various amenities and you did not have to pack anything extra. The breakfast and the view was amazing, the flexibility of the staff and the location was great.

The property did not have slippers and the bed was a bit hard. I would recommended to put bathroom slipper and mattress protector for the bed.
