The best part about property is definitely the staff - Melanya was very helpful, always providing quickly answers, support and help. We stayed in two rooms - Pontano has direct view on the port and Principe San Severo - a little bit bigger room, can see the historic part (the hill, the Castle, the top of the gallery and a bit of port). Cleaning was on a daily basis, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing were the mosquitos, but the property has nothing to do with that.

Melanya made everything perfect. The surroundings is a bit like ghetto, but it does not diminish the value of the property. It is very close to Beverallo port and you can easily go to nearby islands.

This is a super-convenient place to stay for anybody that is arriving by or leaving by ferry. It is a very short walk to the GNV ferry terminal. It is also very convenient for many of the most important sites in Napoli, including the Duomo etc. The property is inside an old office building, and you have to find the intercom to buzz the front desk (5th floor) to gain entry. But the rooms are very nicely decorated, very clean and very functional. The staff were very kind and very helpful. There are minimarts and restaurants nearby. I will certainly stay at De Gasperi 55 again the next time I am looking for a comfortable, convenient and comfortable economical place to stay.

Nothing to complain about at all. It’s very good value for money.

--Fantastic location if you are using the ferry port or the airport shuttle, which is directly across the street -- so easy and convenient. --Staff is so helpful and flexible, able to leave baggage all day after check-out and retrieve it easily on departure. -- Spotlessly clean and the room was bright and sunny (which is rare in the city); amazing hot, strong shower. -- Easy walk to points of interest in the city, historic district, metro, etc. Perfectly safe and walkable.

The queen-sized room with balcony might be a little small if you are two people with a lot of baggage and might be worth upgrading to a slightly larger room. Otherwise, for one or if you don't have a lot of luggage, it's fine, and the room opens to a huge terrace, so there's extra space for lounging.

Good location near the port and walking distance to main sights of Napoli.

Lacking attention to detail. E.g. conditioner bottle in the shower empty on arrival. Room advertised with slippers. Managed to get one pair - second visit 5 days later nothing. Quite a noisy location although nice view over the post and Vesuvius Breakfast is at a local cafe. Coffee, water, orange juice (only if prompted!) and a choice between croissant, brioche or sfogliatella. Food OK but the most miserable staff we encountered anywhere in Italy.

Very well run B&B. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean with a small terrace outside. An espresso machine was provided in the room and additional tea, coffee and pastries were available daily in a small bar area outside the room, which I thought, was a nice touch. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The B&B is very central for the port, the train station and all the main attractions. It is also near the metro and bus stop. There are lots of restaurants in the area and the area itself felt quite safe. Highly recommended.

There is a safe in the room but it is not fixed to a wall? The locks in the sliding doors opening onto the terrace don't work and as the terrace is not totally private, this needs to be looked at. The small hooks on the door are not enough.

The location was perfect only a 10 minute walk for getting ferries on day trips to the surrounding islands and the amalfi coast. The room was lovely with a wee fridge for water, comfy bed and lovely big terrace. Check in was easy given a map of Naples and allowed to keep our bags there until our flight home. Fresh towels everyday and hosts were lovely and approachable :)

Easy to find, good location if getting the ferry. Bed is super comfortable and room was immaculate. Made my birthday special with some extra touches. Staff were very friendly and helped us organise a taxi the next day. We loved the balcony.

Slightly out of centre but walkable distance, this is personal preference. No glasses in the room, this would have been a nice touch as we had to buy cups.

The lady from the reception is very helpful. The view from our room was amazing.The location is perfect,near the port,metro,bus station.

The shower head is not moveable.Sometimes the temperature of water is suddenly changing from hot to cold.. the pressure is weak .Maybe 'couse we were on 14th floor.

Clean bright room with new furnishings. Room opened to a terrace – view is Naples apartments but some fresh air and more space. Bathroom is very small, good shower. Comfortable bed. Complimentary wine, water.

The location is awful – I don't know why people praise ir in reviews. It is on the 5th floor of a dingy office block, like going into an office. No-one around except when we checked in and out, felt very isolated and odd. I would not have liked to be there on my own. Very busy street near another even busier one right near the port so noisy and smelly. There were restaurants fairly close and the metro.

Location under 5 minutes to Universita Metro station 2 stops to Garibaldi where most tours start from and also where you can catch Alibus to and from Napoli Airport. Staff always responds to email or phone questions promptly. Flexibility as we booked online and turned up at property within 30 minutes to dropped off our bags before 9.00 as we were going on a tour. When we were leaving despite us handing back the keys they allowed us to come back (Naples Marathon) and use the facilities and leave our bags to allow us to do some extra touring without our bags. Antonio the building reception was very helpful throughout our stay.
