Front desk staff (Andrea) and Breakfast hostess (Martina) were both extremely helpful during our stay. Breakfast was very good, lots of food and staff to keep it stocked all morning. The DJ was a nice feature for Aperitivo time, we enjoyed the music he played.

The pool area could have been cleaner, staff needed to remove towels from chairs so that others could use them, more lounges for guests to use. If you came in the afternoon, no places were available. Longer pool hours would be nice. The walk to the major sites in town was pretty far and not through the best part of town. We had to take taxis several times and the prices were all different (who knew there was an extra fee for Sunday?).

Pool was wonderful. Staff helpful. The location by the sea was great. We had a room with a balcony with a great view.

There was an unpleasant smell in our room coming from the bathroom. We had upgraded to a better room so this was disappointing. We should have brought this to their attention after the first night but thought it would go away…it didn’t. We did mention it on checkout but the response was underwhelming. The evening restaurant quality of food was under par and expensive. After experiencing this we did not return. This was a shame as the tables were outside in their garden which was beautiful.

Our room was a decent size, clean and very comfortable. It was lovely to have a little balcony with a sea view (although a couple of chairs out there would have been nice). The staff were all friendly and we were able to store our bags and use the facilities before and after check-out. The pool and pool area were lovely, but the toilet/shower facility could do with being cleaned more regularly. Location is good, right by the botanic gardens, and a pleasant walk through little streets to the busier historic centre.

The toilet/shower facility could do with being cleaned a bit more often. The bathroom in our room was a little tired and could do with a deep clean to remove black mould around the shower screen. The bar prices are too high - €12 for an Aperol Spritz when you can get the same for between €6-8 in most of the stalls, bars, and restaurants in the historic centre. The airport taxi service offered by the hotel was quite pricey (around €68 each way for 2 people) when the shared taxi service is really easy and costs just €10 each!

I had a pleasant stay at NH Palermo. The pool area is very nice, especially on warm days, and the breakfast was varied and of good quality. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good bed and modern amenities. The location is convenient during the day, close to the waterfront and walking distance to some attractions. However, at night, it feels a bit far from the livelier areas with bars and restaurants in the historic center, so you might prefer a short taxi ride if you're going out in the evening. Overall, a solid option for comfort and quiet in Palermo.

Lovely location overlooking the port of Palermo and next to the Botanic Gardens and the marina. It was a 10-15 min walk to the centre but there were plenty of places to eat and drink en route . It had a beautiful pool which was much needed in the heat of August.The staff were very helpful and friendly and the spacious rooms were cleaned daily and had air conditioning. The breakfast was fabulous-great variety with local specialities and the option of eating in the garden.

There were only 2 tiny issues for me - I’d have appreciated more storage in the room -there was certainly space for some more and a seat on the balcony to better appreciate the stunning views. But these were very small issues which did not distract in anyway from our enjoyment and I would happily return

The staff was amazing. They were kind and did everything I requested. Many but not all speak English. Everyone was appreciative of a bit of Italian, which I highly suggest guests learn.

This has nothing to do with the hotel, but, while being across the street from a lovely seaside park, there can be excessive noise from loud music coming out of speakers in cars. It can go late into the night. I recommend requesting a room in the back on the garden side.

Very friendly and helpful staff which made the stay very enjoyable. You can tell they take a lot of pride in training their employees. Rooms were a good size and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay in Palermo.

Although the views are great, I would have preferred to stay in a more centralized location. You are 15 to 20 minutes walking from city center from this hotel. While I don’t mind walking, as a female solo traveler my concern was the homeliness near the hotel and walking alone in the evenings in the area. Maybe if I wasn’t alone I wouldn’t have minded so much. Also DO NOT take the taxis that are just sitting in front of the hotel. I got ripped off by one of them on my first day. I mentioned to the staff and they were alarmed. They advised me to ask them to call me a taxi in the future.

Renovated rooms are ok, conditioner was really helpful, the pool and relaxing areas nice, the balcony and the sea view add really important sense of relaxation and quality. We appreciate the attentiveness of the hotel manager to change the room as requested. Staff is very attentive.

The area is very humid, this affects the status of the rooms, smell and need for renovation. Breakfast could offer more fresh vegetables and better variety of cooked meals.

Beds were so comfy we couldn't get up early enough to go have a nice long leisure breakfast. Was a little disappointed in the parking but luckily we were able to find parking each day very close to the hotel. Would be nice if the hotel would buy space for parking so we don't have to worry if we will find parking when we return to the hotel.

Lobby was quite warm. Is there no air conditioning in the lobby? One elevator stopped working and this made going up & down very difficult with a full hotel.

Asked if there were more sun beds , advised no , 1 hour later more sun beds brought out that had been asked for by Italian guests . Reception , breakfast restaurant manager , room service staff and those replenishing food were very welcoming , the only waiter that was welcoming and smiling was Paulo, the others appeared miserable. The food in the restaurant was ok but not worth the price and served on cold plates
