Manager very helpful. We stayed in the "suite" one night and a regular room the second night. This is not really a hotel, just a few renovated rooms in a very old building. Suite was cavernous, other room average. Breakfast is not included. Manager cooked eggs to order, but there was none of the extras that are normally expected in better hotels in Italy, like fresh croissants, fruit, etc. Location was a hike to the very center, but close to the water.

We clearly specified we needed 2 separate beds, and reviewed this before the second room, but when we got back to the room at 11 p.m. there was only a single large bed. Staff had gone home, so we pulled the beds apart and jury-rigged some sheets. Frustrated.

Fantastic location- could walk to the pier, could walk into old town, could walk to the art district, felt a bit away from it all, very near to great cafe/ restaurants. Staff were so kind and so helpful. They kindly gave us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate 🍾 . It’s decorated beautifully with lovely tiled floors and bathroom.

The only mix up we had was that the beautiful wooden bedside tables were taken without notice - a guest had checked into the suite so they wanted to put the nice tables in there. A passport was in the table so we had to get it back!

The room was lovely and very comfortable.

The only thing that we could speak critically of is that we had to wait over 30 minutes to be shown to our room when arriving even though we had supplied a rough time frame of when we would be arriving. But I understand that there was a small extraordinary incident that had occurred and I don't think that that is the hosts' normal practice. They were very gracious and lovely people and made us feel very welcome.

Excellent location, in historic centre, nice area, close enough to the train station. Good size of the room, very helpful staff. It was possible to leave the luggage there before the check in. Comfortable bed.

Accommodation was comfortable, great location, next to the sea, front staff attentive. Only thing is that if you are light sensitive, the emergency light can bother you at night. There is no light in the ceiling, just table lamps.

Room was exellent! so clean and quite. Very beautifull high cealing and marble floors. Bed was comfortable. Staff was the best! Good Wifi, lot’s of drinks in the friz and we even got a bottle of prosecco into our room, since it was our anniversary!

It did not have an elevator and it was on third floor. It was little hard for me with my operated hip. It was on the old part of the city and not very beautifull area.

Super cool building, the room is spacious and well arranged, the host was so sweet and friendly, great location!

The B&B has a really good location, everything is in walking distance. Francesco was very helpful and friendly,anytime we had a question he was there to help out. The room was nice and spacious.

The only thing was that we could hear our neighbors or people in the corridor,but i guess it's because the building is old. It wasn't too disturbing.

Everything was perfect: location, cleanliness, value for money, and most of all, the kindness and openness of the staff, ready to help us, to answer to our questions, to make our stay the best. Overall I loved Sicily and I will certainly be back and stay at Abatellis! Big thanks to Francesco

The lovely receptionist was extremely helpful, with finding parking and printing off boarding passes for our early ferry the next day. Close to the historic centre for a saunter in the evening.
