The location was walking distance from the train station. It was a 15- minute walk. For us, this was a comfortable distance. The appartment had a lot of beautiful authentic details and the minimalist enterior enhanced these features, very much my style. The appartment was in the centre of the shopping- and restaurant street. It was very lively and nice, everything nearby. The neighbourhood was lovely. In the weekend, it was a bit noisy, but it didn't interfere with sleep so it was good enough. What struck me most, was the kind support, information about the best features of the surroundings, how to take public transport, where to eat etc. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

There were no real drawbacks that would make me advise against this appartment. Some improvements would be more space (both in the bathroom and the bedroom) to store items, like more planks to put something on. The shower curtain was unwieldy, a better option might be considered

Great place to stay. The location in Trastevere is lovely - a bit away from the bustle but with good access to walk lots of places and trams on the road outside. Tree lined road. Communication was really good and self-checkin was simple and quick. Comfy, large bed, good space in the room and everything you need.

Good location especially for public transport links and walking distance to Trastevere restaurants and bars. Also walking distance to central Rome but not necessarily recommended in August heat. Bed was very comfy and shutters kept all light out which is great. Air con was excellent and very needed in the Rome heat!! Room stayed cool even when we left air con off whilst we were out. Communication with Andrea was great.

Check in was slightly delayed due to late cleaning but we were able to leave our bags. Some things were listed on booking.com but not in room e.g. mini bar, bathrobes. It didn't affect our stay but worth noting in case it is important to others!

The location is great, really close to public transit and it is very walkable to the city center and other sights. The rooms are clean, we stayed in the red room and had a balcony which was nice to get takeout and people watch on the street.

The shower is extremely small, and the street was a bit noisy. I would not recommend this place to people who are large, I am 5’4” and had difficulty in the small shower. The train goes by at all hours and may be difficult for light sleepers, though they did provide us with ear plugs when we arrived.

Great location right near a bus stop. Able to walk to all the restaurants in Trastevere in 5 minutes! We loved going out for the day, then we would come back, shower up, and head out to dinner! Also, Andrea helped us almost daily with questions such as restaurants, transportation, and laundry. She responded quickly and made our visit stress free! Also, we loved being away from the hustle and bustle. Yes, we had to ride the bus at times, but that was pretty easy when Andrea told us the bus lines to use. We had to take a taxi to the Vatican since we had a very early morning start time, and that was about $15 USD one way. I highly recommend AD Trastevere. We spent every evening walking the streets of Trastevere and enjoying all the restaurants!

Being American, we tend to use washcloths. So just bring your own!

Very functional room for a one-night stay in a wonderful neighborhood in Rome. The apartment is right next to a tram station which is convenient (however slightly noisy in the night) Andrea, the host, was friendly and accommodating enough to allow us to leave our bags after checkout and pick it up later. Would definitely recommend !

Just be mindful of the tram line right in front of the building as you could hear it all night

A very good place as a base for exploring the beautiful city of Rome. Comfort, cleanliness, proximity to the center and the host himself are probably the biggest advantages of this place. The apartment itself is small but well furnished and has everything you need. After a day full of exploring, it is a pleasure to come back here. I can honestly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to Rome.

Everything was ok

Clean, well appointed room, ideally located in the cool neighbourhood of Trastevere near piles of good cafes, restaurants and bars, and adjacent to a stop for the very useful tram-line 8. Andrea is helpful with questions and assistance. Great value.

Just a bit noisy but earplugs are graciously provided.

The location and price were just what we needed to enjoy Rome.

We thought there were two full beds in the room but one was more of a pullout chair. It ended up being comfortable and worked just fine though.

Location is great, right in front of the tram/bus station, 10min walking distance to Trastevere where all the authentic bars and restaurants are located, room is good, beds are comfy, capsule coffee machine is a great bonus :)

Window isolation is not that good, you can sleep but not totally silent
